I can’t really express how awesome Lindsay is! I’ve never had a dress custom made for me, but I decided to go for it for my wedding. I was feeling a little lost and frustrated shopping for a wedding dress, so I took my ideas to Lindsay and let her work her magic. I’m so glad I did! The dress exceeded my expectations, it is elegant, and grand, but not too formal at all. She took my ideas (a blue or green dress, 40s inspired, not strapless, flowing) and ran with it. This is exactly why you pay someone to do design work, because they take your ideas and make them more beautiful than you could ever imagine. The wedding dress is so important, and Lindsay created something that made me look and feel radiant, and it’s also a dress I can wear post-​wedding!

I stumbled upon Lindsay’s website when I was searching for a dressmaker for a wedding I was going to be attending. While I had something specific in mind for a design, I wasn’t able to find it in any store I went to. So, I went armed with a couple of photos and ideas for this sundress that I wanted made.
She was really friendly, and great at helping find something to make my dress look the most flattering. No detail was overlooked. She had it made in about 3 weeks, which was kind of rushing things, but I had to have it by a certain date! Everything looked great. The fit was perfect, very comfortable, everything I had asked for.
Except, I’m not much of a dress wearer. By the time the wedding came around, I realized I just could NOT be comfortable in a dress. So the piece that she made for me, while it was absolutely perfect in design, was left hanging in the closet. When I returned from the trip, I gave her a call, and asked if she would mind making it into a skirt instead. I knew I would wear that a LOT more often. She was very accomodating, and even did it for free, knowing that I would at least get some use out of it!
I would definitely go back to get something else custom made. It wasn’t cheap, but how often can you find something that was made to fit you and your body alone? Love her.
