Oh boy. I should have looked at the reviews before ordering. I pretty much experienced the same thing as others in previous reviews-​flowers didn’t show up on the day they needed to arrive. Which is a pretty big deal for a florist company! It made it look like I had forgotten a very important birthday.
When I called to ask what happened to the order, I just received a bunch of questions from a grumpy older woman who confirmed she got the order and would ‘beef up’ the bouquet that I had ordered. The recipient sent me a photo and I would have been better off buying a $ 20 bouquet from New Seasons! It was not beefed up.

My dear friend decided to send me flowers for a recent loss and though she’s out of town I was happy she chose a local company. The happiness pretty much stopped there though. I thought of giving two stars since I pretty much save one stars for the worst, but this really was bad.
I started to write the whole story but it was annoying me so I’ll leave it at the bottom line: they gave my sweet friend the runaround, were scattered at best when I had to call, and then when they finally arrived, the last straw was that the delivery guy was weird and unfriendly to my husband!
I was surprised to see their address on NW 23^rd since it seems like real estate there would be out of their league; with this kind of start-​to-​finish bad customer service and the reviews to show it, I’m a little surprised they’re even in business– I mean the last thing someone wants along with their sympathy flowers order is a hassle, and there are quite a few excellent florists in town.
As far as the flowers, they are nice enough, they aren’t dead or anything but it is a very small bouquet in a plain jar. This type of bouquet would cost about 8.99 at the store but I’m guessing she dropped 40 – 50 bucks. :/

After several mishaps with the 1 – 800’s and FTD websites I decided to try the local route. I have used this place twice now and have been extremely happy both times. The arrangements were always fresh and beautifully done, best of all wife approved.
Free local delivery means that I am not wasting half the money on shipping. I am always amazed to see where the flowers originated from when ordering from the big guys.
I am not falling for the super deals anymore and getting to the checkout only to see that it is twice as much after shipping.

For my 3 year wedding anniversary I ordered flowers for my wife and had them delivered. I searched and searched and found the perfect arrangement. Dahlias and Stargazer Lillie’s, which are our wedding flowers. When they arrived my wife was so excited, however when I asked how she liked the Dahlias and the Stargazers lilies, and the Balloon, she said. what do you mean, I didn’t get any of those. I got roses and Gerber daisy’s. I called that night and left a huffy puffy voice-​mail. 12 noon the next day I called back after no reply and talked to a very unpleasant woman who said «I never got a message… You got an arrangement worth what you paid and since you got free delivery we had to take that out of the value…» When I asked where my specific flowers that were detailed in the description were she said «the website says it will be an „approximate“ look to the photos online and that they will replace flowers if original ones that were planned are not in stock.»
She had no plan to help me at all. I feel like this is false advertising. I would know since I have to pay close attention to this stuff for my clients. If I had been told they had no Dahlias or Stargazers in stock, I would have gone elsewhere! Charge back filed. You have pissed off the wrong client with your lies and terrible client service. Don’t mess with a mans Wedding Anniversary present!
This is like going to a restaurant and ordering chicken, they come back and say we were out of chicken so we made you steak with a «Quit your whining the steak is just as much value as the chicken.» to end the conversation.

My sweet little boy and his step mom ordered some flowers for me on the Friday before Mothers Day (and paid for express delivery). They were finally delivered today and what was delivered was not at all what they ordered. One of the nine flowers was damaged and they were not even arranged at all, just thrown in a vase. Additionally, one of the names they wanted on the card was missing and the card had a typo. It is clearly obvious no care was put into the order at all. I would strongly discourage anyone from purchasing or ordering from this establishment.

Oh please. Why are there fake 5 star reviews? Look at the 1 star reviews. Those are the real reviews.
My son sent us flowers for mother’s day. He specifically told them 3pm — 9pm delivery and paid $ 50 dollars. What arrived? Nothing. It was supposed to be a surprise, but all ruined. I had to call their store, talk with rude employees defending themselves with pathetic excuses, then got to talk to their even more rude manager. Apparently they delivered the flowers at 9am and told me that they saw an employee working inside my store (destination for delivery), knocked, and left the flower at the door. Obviously it was a lie since we didn’t even open at 9am, they probably forgot about the order, and made up excuses on the spot. And this conversation was with an ANGRY manager who was spitting at her phone.
So they redelivered the flowers during dinner hours and another surprise! What did we get? Maybe. $ 10 worth of flowers and half of them were dead. Any card? Nope. Piece of paper saying «Happy mother’s day!» and it was folded in half and was ripped.
Please save yourself money and just go to grocery store and they will have better flowers for $ 10. Better decored and livelier condition. Please take down the fake reviews, this store deserves to get 0 stars at best.

The Flower shop doesn’t even deserve a single star. My company paid over $ 70 dollars for an assortment of 20 tulips. When I received my flowers there were 11 drowsy, sad tulips. The delivery guy said he dropped them in the parking lot and that he was sorry… as he was pulling broken tulips out of his pockets to place back in the bouquet. I brought them inside and tried to straighten them to make them look nice, but many of them were broken. The receipt attached with the card said it was from FTD Spring Tulip Bouquet (deluxe) Receipt (20 assorted tulips and spring BQT. My husband immediately called the flower shop and spoke to a very unpleasant woman that said that even though FTD says there are going to be 20 tulips she can’t put 20 tulips in the bouquet because she wouldn’t make any money. FTD doesn’t mark the flowers up high enough for her to afford to place all 20 tulips. What a JOKE! believe me $ 70 for 20 tulips is plenty money! I called FTD and they were very upset and said they will investigate this flower shop. Do yourself a favor. If your going to buy from them go pick it up so that you know what your getting and get your moneys worth.

I am only reviewing the service so far, since the first order I placed has not been delivered yet.
Which is my whole point right now: I ordered a delivery yesterday, for today. The confirmation email I got yesterday did not have an ETA, which I totally understand. This morning I sent out an email asking about what was the expected delivery window.
After 5 hours I still didn’t get a reply.
So I called customer «service» and was asked a few unrelated and confusing questions like «what is your web address?». I said «I don’t understand the question — I placed an order online and this is the order number.» They finally got to the order and I was told that it would be delivered «Today». I asked «Could you please be a bit more specific?» The reply was «Sir, this is Mother’s Day weekend, we have 17 drivers out on the street, I don’t know when your order will be delivered, I can’t tell you if it will be in the next 20 minutes. This is how we work». I replied «I am not asking you to tell me if it’s going to be delivered in the next 20 minutes, I asked you for a shorter timeframe, like ‘it’s on the SE route, it should be delivered before lunch time, or between 10 am and 4 pm.»
The lady sounded very impatient and not really into listening or replying to, guess what, customers.
I am glad there are many other florists in Portland.

My dad sent me Mother’s Day flowers and they just arrived today. I cannot believe the sad state these flowers are in. They look terrible. I can’t even bear to tell my father. I almost was going to go somewhere else and get something nice and take a picture so that he would think they are nice. This is the WORST bouquet I have ever received and I have received a LOT of flowers. I do NOT recommend this place AT all. Every flower is bruised or banged up or brown and the leaves all have spots or are dry and dying.
It is such a shame. I am so disappointed.

Luv N Stuff has moved to 1037 NW 23^rd. I went there this year to buy my son’s girlfriend’s corsage. I had a bad experience last year with Sammy’s flowers and paid $ 90 for a measly corsage that had one weird flower. This year I picked up a beautiful corsage with delicate soft peach roses, and baby lilies that was breathtaking. I asked for something special and told them I would pay more. Not only did they not charge me more, but the corsage was only $ 27.00! I would have gladly paid $ 90! It just goes to show that you don’t need to pay more for beauty, and just because someone does, doesn’t mean it is a better place. Sammy’s gets great reviews and I don’t understand why. Consumers should try Luv N Stuff, I really think if you try it, you will be converted. They are my florist from here on out.

What’s better on a warm spring morning than walking into a fragrant flower shop? Not much, I’ll tell you. The breeze stirring up the sweet aromas, and petals blossoming everywhere. This place was adorable!
While they did have a vast selection of fresh flowers, they also had lots and lots of other fun boutique-​y things, too. I spent a small fortune on their couture wrapping papers, too-​cute card sets, and a really kickass artsy magnet.
When I was paying for my goods, the florist who was helping me also just *had* to mention that they had these amazing smelling candles that were featured on Oprah. Oh, the travesty! I just couldn’t afford it all, so I didn’t try tempting myself by going over and smelling them.
According to the florist (who was just as cute as a bug, and so sweet, too), they’ve been around for 20+ years. And while she kind of chuckled at the name when I asked what the place was called, she explained that they used to be located down the block on Lovejoy. Get it? Luv… oh, never mind.
All I know is that I’m keeping this place in mind next time I want some designer candles.
