My wife and i have been here twice now. Satisfied both times. The food is solid American Chinese food, the service is good and the portions are great for the price. You wont leave hungry. We moved nearby so I think this place will become a regular. There is a bar also but we haven’t checked that part out yet

We ordered the food to go and the order was ready extremely fast. The portions were HUGE and the food was delicious. Best Sweet and Sour chicken we have had in a while. Very happy to have found this place in our new neighborhood.

Pros: Awesome drink prices and crab puffs! Good food, friendly staff. Cons: Located right off the Springwater Bike Trail but there’s no bike rack.

This place is awesome. I don’t even know where to start, it has the best food in town, the portions are big and the service is always very attentive. Since I found this place I’ve been eating out more and more Chinese food with the purpose of comparing their quality, but their legend only grows more and more after I finish a meal at another Chinese restaurant.

This is a fantastic neighborhood restaurant! The interior is outdated but clean and charming. It’s affordable and there’s a variety of dishes, both American and Chinese. The mandarin chicken, sweet and sour pork and fried pawns are all especially good. And the appetizers are inexpensive. The only bad dish we’ve ever had here was orange beef, which was too sweet. Complimentary hot tea when dining in. Prompt service, carry out available… I love it.

Came to get some take out to soothe myself after the Duck’s loss Saturday. Ordered sesame beef, general tsao’s and chicken lo mein. I was expecting one each of the little white boxes, and a side of rice, but no… It was an entire large to go container of each! I walked out ready to feed a family of 5 for $ 23. Wasn’t a fan of the sesame beef, but would get the chicken again.

Love this place. The food is awesome and the service is fast, friendly, and anticipated my needs. We’ve been searching for a great Chinese restaurant since we moved into the area 4 years ago, and this is it! What a gem! Our favorite is the Honey Chicken.

I took my skeptical wife here and she just gave a five star review because it was so good. The cook is back there making fresh food, the place doesn’t look like much but the service is five stars I’ve never been treated so well. didn’t have to ask for napkins or water, turn on the AC because they saw me sweat. the food one, after another came out fast, fresh and tasty! we made the mistake of ordering two drinks and wow they were strong!

Food is very good. The location is odd and the interior is not the nicest but the food is great. Order take out and you won’t be disappointed.

American Chinese food in a dive lounge, but tastes great and hits the spot. Very cheap combos. Decent enough service. Fast takeout. It ain’t fancy or healthy, but it’s tasty.

The food is great. This review is about the ghetto bartender that ripped me off. Went in last night for food and a few drinks, which the food was awesome! I decided to play some video poker and won $ 40 bucks… Or should I say I won $ 30 bucks after the bartender decided to take her cut. *I handed her my ticket to cash and she handed me back my winnings in $ 5 dollar bills, which I thought was odd and should’ve counted the money, but gave her the benefit of doubt… my bad. I called today and instead of checking to see if her till was over(maybe, she made a mistake) they gave me her schedule and told me that I would have to come in and ask her myself. Ugh. *If I go back in when she’s working I’m taking $ 10 bucks off my bill whether she likes it or not.

I wish I could give this place ZERO stars because they have RATS!!! I just move to the area and I wanted to give this place a try. The first time was not very impressed and I decided to give them another chance… What a mistake!!! The food took forever and it was tasteless. The worst moment was after we partially ate our food is that we saw a rat coming out of the kitchen and the waitress totally disregarded our concern after we told her about it. It seems like their main business is their«bar» which has many regulars from the neighborhood, so it seems. I’d rather drive a few extra miles so I can avoid this place.

Like some other reviewers have noted, my partner and I have been looking for a good Chinese restaurant in SE Portland, since we moved here from Denver about a month ago. We tried a couple places before eating at Jumbo tonight, and we had been very disappointed, even though they had 4 stars on Unilocal. We had experienced beef that was really mystery-meat, and awfully strange service to boot. Fortunately, tonight we found Jumbo! They provided great service and genuine friendliness. The food presentation was also top notch, just as pictured in the menu. The food was fantastic! Crab rangoons were piping hot and fresh, with great flavor. They served them with sweet and sour sauce and hot mustard. My partner ordered the General Tso’s Tofu, and was very impressed by the way it was cooked and the flavor. I saw several things that peaked my interest, so I decided to try Combo #7. The pork fried rice was perfectly cooked and not dry. The General Tso’s chicken was juicy and full of seasonings, but not too salty. I have to admit that I wasn’t expecting the fried shrimp to be very good, but I was quite surprised at the quality of the shrimp and how well they were cooked. The only disappointment was that the sliced BBQ Pork was a bit dry, but the flavor was still very good. Overall, great food at a good price, with friendly and efficient service. We will be back soon!

We ordered some food while we waited for our laundry next door. Eating the(actually quite good) noodles, I bit down on a long spirally piece of metal shrapnel and barely avoided serious injury. When my boyfriend took the piece back to show them, he did get an apology but no offer for a refund even though we couldn’t really finish the noodles for fear of being shanked in the mouth.
