Josh is a hair artisan. He’s meticulous, taking all the time he needs to perfect a haircut, and his haircolor work is phenomenal. Although he once wasn’t able to get the base color we had chosen, he mixed two related colors in the perfect proportion. He’s personable and fun. He’s renowned for his talents with curly hair, but he’s equally skilled with straighter styles.

Josh is awesome, especially for curls. He listens to what YOU want, he’s honest in regards to what your hair will realistically do, and he doesn’t rush through your hair cut, but takes the time to get it right. I travel over 80 miles round trip to see Josh because I know I will get a great cut.

Josh is a hair star! He works wonders with all types of hair, but I flocked to him because of his specialty working with curls. From the former Dezi Salon (see other stellar reviews there), Josh is moving to his own new space and I can’t wait for years to come with my favorite Portland hairstylist! :)
