This is an account of my personal experience. I don’t have the knowledge to judge Marc’s qualifications or to compare him with other practitioners. All I can do is talk about my experience and the way he has helped me. I have been suffering from severe migraines for more than ten years — and when I say«severe» I mean debilitating: loss of vision, loss of speech, devastating headaches. Within weeks after I started receiving acupuncture treatment from Marc very significant change happened in my life. No headaches. And certainly no migraines. Something I didn’t dare to hope for — and frankly, going in, I didn’t believe in acupuncture as serious medicine, so this was nothing I really expected, either. Marc has a very pleasant way of interacting with his patients. No esoteric absurdities, instead from what I can tell deep knowledge of Eastern medicine, based on a foundation of solid understanding of Western medicine. He talks to the patient, tries to understand what is going on and to understand what causes your issues — and then calmly guides you into the world of acupuncture and how it can help you with your problems. He doesn’t promise miracles — he just delivered one for me. For people who suffer from pain or other issues and have tried Western medicine without success(and even if they haven’t) — I recommend setting up an appointment with Marc to find out if maybe he can help you.

Pain pills have their moments but there are only so many a girl can take before feeling like Courtney Love on a downward spiral. I was in a massive accident a few years ago. And by massive, I am referring to a drunken Mexican dude dragging me and my bike for several blocks on the pavement underneath his Ford F350. He stopped after I politely knocked on his window to let him know i was stuck under his truck. Some bones were broken, some shins were splattered open, some things were fractured. And whatnot. What was really upsetting was the fact that I had a cast placed on the hand I use to jack off with on a regular basis! In all seriousness, I always thought that acupuncture was some kind of fad. Kind of like Nag Champa incense or fairy tattoos. After episodes of horrendous shoulder pain resulting from the aforementioned accident, I turned to Marc Gadoua of Heaven-Earth who was recommended by a friend. I am not a fan of needles, so the idea of being poked by tons of tiny ones made me lose my mind. I pictured myself having an anxiety attack on my first visit and running out of his office looking like a disoriented Pinhead of Hellraiser. Marc was as sweet as an ice cream cone, wore Dansko’s and spoke softly. He listened to my concerns and played cultural music while I laid there, all needled up. When I walked out of there the first time, I felt like I had just taken a giant bong hit. He did additional work on my shoulder over time, that resulted in a tremendous amount of overall relief. I recently went back to Marc for a knee injury and although i hadn’t seen him in years, it was like we picked up where we had left off. He put heat on my knee, poked me all over, and I was so relaxed I fell asleep. Marc is careful, professional and has a subtle way of making me feel at ease. Additionally he takes my Kaiser insurance so that is an added bonus. If he fixed me, and my raggedy, mopped up shoulder and cartilage lacking knee, any of your ailments will surely be a cakewalk for Marc. Give him a shot, but before you do, stop by the ATM because he only takes cash or checks.
