We employ specialists in both domestic and imported vehicles, including Honda/​Acura and Toyota/​Lexus (especially gas-​electric hybrids), Subaru, Mazda, GM, Chrsyler/​Doge, Ford, and VW/​Audi, including diesel.

We work to provide quality service to customers’ vehicles for maximum miles and maximum mileage. We provide customers with information needed to make informed choices about their vehicles, We fix the vehicle right the first time, on time. Technicians at Hawthorne Auto Clinic are certified by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE). Currently 6 of our technicians are Master Automobile Technicians (Certified in all 9 specialty areas) with 5 having attained L1 status as Advanced Engine Performance Specialists (the highest designation available). Both of our service consultants are ASE certified.

We require all of our technicians to attend a minimum of 40 hours per year of (fully paid) update training. Most attend more.

We are committed to vocational career and apprentice technician training. We routinely employ interns from the Mt. Hood Community College automotive programs. We enjoy providing job shadow experiences for interested high school students.
