Locally owned and operated, Grooming a GoGo delivers mobile pet grooming throughout the Portland area. We’ll come to your home, groom your pet in our state-​of-​the-​art grooming van (we have our own water and power), then bring Spike or Fluffy back to your front door, clean, trimmed and happy.

Bath & Tidy

Brushing, nail trim/​file, ear cleaning, ear plucking (on certain breeds), warm water bath, hand drying, paw trim, gland expression and a bandana/​bow.

Grooming a GoGo was founded by Portlander Kelly Rice. Inspired by a lifelong love of animals and her own positive experiences with mobile grooming, Kelly decided to start Grooming a GoGo.

Today, Kelly is delighted to treat pets to a fun spa day. She says her favorite part is watching newly-​groomed pets show off for their owners!

Cristi did a fantastic job with my little dog, Mango. He can be, er, let’s go with «ornery,» but they got along great and he looked adorable after getting washed and trimmed up. Since I don’t have a car, the mobile service is perfect for me. The van is clean and they were on time. Paws up to Grooming a Go Go, Cristi and Kelly!

Kelly was genuinely friendly, caring, professional, and detail oriented. She listened to all of my requests and followed through beautifully. She was also honest, having had opportunities to add services/​charges… But instead giving me advice and educating me on topics that resulted in my not spending any extra. I will continue to use her service!
If you can’t get in right away. Get yourself on the wait list for next time. After your first appointment you’ll be hooked, as I now am.

NOTE TO ALL READERS WITH LARGE BREEDS: ONLY LARGE BREED FRIENDLY MOBILE GROOMER I FOUND
Wonderful service with an adverse situation. Kelly was awesome with my saint bernard. Not only is she the only mobile groomer that I found would even touch large breeds, but she is very good with him. I say adverse because my dog can be a little skittish and hard to handle and he was extra hairy this time because our grooming schedule has been out of whack due to various factors. Also he is a bit older so it’s hard for him to get in the tub. She happily set up an outside wash so he could just stand outside and get washed. Also there were other issues on the customer (my) side that she had to work around. Throughout she was helpful, understanding, and professional. I am just glad I didn’t scare her away because she’s our new groomer now. No more lugging a giant hairy dog in a small car to our old groomer 30 min away in traffic. Please send this woman your business you won’t be sorry and she truly deserves it.

Grooming a Go Go is fantastic! I have a 100 lb. black lab and a mid-​sized mutt who have taken plenty of trips to Sandy River Delta Park the past few months. I kept putting off taking them to the groomer because of how busy work has been, and then finally decided to give these guys a try. What a marvelous service!
The inside of the van looks just like a mini grooming parlor, with a bath, dryer, and even a hot-​water heater so they get nice, warm baths. So cool! (The outside reminds me of that groovy Scooby Doo van, too!) Kelly was a delight. My mutt is shy around strangers, but when I picked my dogs up, she and Kelly seemed like old friends. My pups smelled great, had super-​soft and shiny fur, groomed nails, clean ears, the works. Did I mention the adorable bandanas?
It saved me a TON of time, and my nervous dog didn’t have to deal with a noisy grooming salon. Incredibly professional, kind and trustworthy service. Fabulous!

I have a large male golden retriever that loves to fetch, swim, dig, and cool off in mud puddles. Kelly has groomed him several times in her state-​of-​the-​art mobile grooming van. He does great and looks very handsome when he exits her van. The van has a cool grooming table that lifts the big dogs up to the bathing tub and allows her to do her magic. Drying, brushing, scissoring, nails, glands and voila! there’s a handsome, huggable dog back in my house.
Kelly is a happy, easy-​going, and well organzied groomer. Her customer service is awesome as she returns calls quickly and is able to schedule appointments in a timely manner. She spends time getting to know you and your dog and you can tell she loves what she’s doing.
