This looms by Hwy 26 on Murray and I don’t know if there is Greek food but they have good drinks. We stopped here on a recent bike riding adventure on a sunny week day afternoon. There is plenty of parking. It is a divey place with good drinks. We navigated our way to the lotto machines and it was a lucky day.

So like others from Portland, moved west for greener pastures, cheaper rent and chain restaurants! Found this lil gem that I could literally walk to if I wanted to re-live my college days. Drinks are great staff is not! Actually I’ll be more specific: female staff is not! Yes this is a dive bar, yes I don’t think they wash my glasses clean enough and yes there might be a one restroom that is disgusting but still it’s a business! I sit at the bar with friends for a few hours, get ignored, we tell them we’re thirsty and looking to hang and relax, put our debit cards out on the bar and still she ignores us until we are flagging her down for a refill every single time. Then we put about $ 30 in the jukebox! An hour or two later we realize we haven’t heard one song! She was playing her ipod. We told her about our money and she just shrugs it off. We know how it works, we’re not dumb just because we’re drunk we know how the sound works. How it all works. And so about 5 more times we go there with the same intention, to drink like fishes be entertained by the unique crowd and that same bartender with the long hair is rude to us. No thanks, I work too hard for me to waste my money at a bar while staring at a grouchy waitress who could be pretty if she smiled. Often or at all. Be a dive bar and a lucrative business. You can be both.

Awesome bartenders. There’s 6 pool tables 2 electronic dartboards and half covered patio for the smokers. Tip well and you might just need a taxi ride home!

Great dive bar. Sad music. After two straight hours of Bruce Springsteen and Bob Seger we couldn’t take it anymore and left. What hurts the most is that we invested our own money to break the jukebox pattern only to have our benevolence reversed for more Boss and Bob. A lame way to spend Friday, cheap drinks or not.

Honestly.. I have been here a few times. A couple times i got served ok.. not fast or even well just.. served. I just went tonight and i saw the bartender muddling ice and fruit. rookie mistake. She was struggling with the crowd(4 people). If this is the type of service i can expect on a Saturday night.. I will never return. I don’t care how many of my coworkers come here. This place feels more like a hangout then a bar. Only because you can never get a drink lol.

Place was a definite regular spot for me until I was pretty much dismissed for my weirdness. Now, my name is Weird Mike and all, but this isn’t your average joint if you stand outside of the weird norm that is graced with the welcoming feeling of a spot downtown. If you like small poolhall food and sports snacks and are somewhat respectable this is your place. If you are odd or different, then go downtown. No one in this city can often respect someone different. Sad to know I’ve been left out. Also, their regulars will treat you like shit.

SO and I moved to the neighborhood about a year and a half ago and this is our go to bar. We love to see all the familiar faces as well as the fantastic people watching on karaōke nights. Close knit bartenders serving cheap and strong drinks. It’s the diviest of dives and we wouldn’t have it any other way!

I know what you’re thinking, am I really writing a Unilocal review for the Greek Village? You bet your ass I am, bro. If you’re looking for a straight up, no frills, awful dive bar… this is your joint. It’s terrible, and I mean that in the best way. Cheap beer, stiff drinks, lots of pool tables, darts, sometimes cute bartenders, and I think they even have an air hockey table stuffed in the back. But, I hate air hockey. Oh and if you’re against paying your rent, they have a whole«lottery lounge» for you to throw your life away in. There’s always a few old timers posted up at the bar at like 2pm on a Tuesday, and usually a mullet somewhere nearby. Corn dog nuggets? Check. A decent gyro w/average fries? Absolutely. All the tell tale signs of solid dive bar. The Greek takes all kinds, I’ve worn(and seen) everything from a shirt & tie to jorts and a wife beater in there, it’s all the same. It also doesn’t hurt that my picture is on the ceiling. Best true dive bar around…

I enjoyed a wonderful turkey sandwich today for $ 6.50 with tots. Also good price on their happy hour drinks on a Saturday. Great little joint.

Either you will hate or love it. There is no middle ground for this place. This is a regular place of some of colleagues and myself to hang out after work. I just love how simple and no non sense this place is. Cheap beer, awesome food, awesome music and great friendly staff. Pool is 50 cents game! Although I wish they had better restrooms.

Last Friday we went out to celebrate my husband’s birthday, as soon as we walked in the door the whole place stunk like vomit, there was a huge wet stain on the floor & you couldn’t escape it & it was hard to not gag. Our entire party of 10 immediately left out the back door. Normally, we like coming here but this was so gross, we won’t be back.

Showed up at 6:00 pm and was told«there is no Happy Hour». Crummy ambiance, lots of TVs but it’s not laid out so you can really watch a game without the pool players in your way. I’d say stop trying to be a sports bar and just focus on pool and lotto. And maybe institute a happy hour. $ 5 a pint is really incongruous with the truck stop bathroom vibe.

This place is awesome! As the DD tonight, I can honestly say this is my favorite dive bar! The DJ tonight can sense the mood of the crowd, so props to him. The bartenders are so nice! The actually acknowledge that they’ll be right with you! The food was good. All around a good bar :)

Portland dive bars tend to try too hard, but this is a dive bar that doesn’t know it’s a dive bar. It’s authentic. It’s real. It’s the Greek Village. I don’t know what it is about this place. Maybe it’s the friendly waitresses who sound like they’ve been smoking for 20 years. Maybe I it reminds me of the bars that my mom used to take me to as a kid. Maybe it’s the awesome paintings on the ceiling. Whatever it is, it’s awesome. It’s a shame that it’s so far from my house because it’s easy to get quite tipsy here on the cheap. The drinks are stiff and very affordable. You’re not going to see any craft cocktails on this menu. In fact, they don’t even have a menu, they just have a bunch of bottom shelf liquor and a jello shot of the day. Brilliant. So if you’re looking for a good place to have some drinks with the bros while jammin’ out to Marcy Playground, look no further. You might be hit on by a girl that’s 3 times your age, but that’s a part of the charm.

Great place! Went with a friend last nite to shoot pool. Pleasantly surprised! the place is way bigger then what I was expecting with plenty of pool tables @ a reasonable $.50/game. Foosball table, and a so/so Air Hockey table(meaning it only kinda worked). I definately need to head back soon to try the food and practice up on my pool game. Overall…Excellent Service! Strong Drinks! Friendly People! Good atmosphere!

So I was a little put off by the image provided for this dive bar… None the less, it represents it rather well. I’m straining my 20⁄13 vision thinking, «is that writing on the ceiling tile??» It sure is, and lots of it. Dating back years on end in fact… We came in to this place not knowing what to expect, the outside is for sure a lil sketch, but the parking lot was full… Alright??? Lets do this!!! Stepped in and it was exactly what I was expecting, dive bar with a rather open layout(wasn’t expecting the open layout part actually), pool tables, Video Poker and loud metal music was blaring in the background. A pool tourney had just finished up and so we were able to grab a few drinks and a table to shoot around on. Felts were in great shape, lots of cue sticks… most ranging around 20oz but I was able to find a 18oz(my preferred weight). The drinks were stiff, staff was friendy, and the service was fast, drinks were up within seconds of ordering them… honestly, the servers were on point and doing a great job. After a while we were getting hungry, I went all out and ordered the ¾ lb Zeus Burger. Came with 3 ¼oz pattys stacked, topped with cheddar and bacon. It also came with pickles, onions and the standard burger toppings… it had a side of fries that seemed to be the ore-ida brand fries, but they prepaired them well enough for my drunken self to devour the whole plate. My wife went outside to have a cancer stick, so I ordered her a gyro. She thought it was OK, she wasn’t too impressed… Then again, my ROTD of The Gyro House points out what a damn good gyro is, so it’s not like expectations were too high. I give this place 3 stars, why not 4? Hell, I dunno… Just didn’t feel like a 4 star experience… it’s possible that we will come back, we’re trying to find a main watering hole and haven’t completely crossed this off the list, but we are still searching for sure.

I’m surprised by the amount of folks mentioning«fast service» in their reviews. I’ve been in this true dive bar 5 times and have had consistently slow service. On a Friday night, not only is it slow, but if you don’t pay attention, they might even just forget your order… Maybe I’m spoiled by the wonderful pubs in the southeast and northwest neighborhoods. So maybe by the limited and lacking pub scene that Beaverton has to offer, it might rank higher in that regard. Either way, I just don’t think there’s much salvation left for this place. Desperately grabbing for straws, I can at least say their drinks are pretty cheap. The pour depends on the bartenders, some who know how to flip a glass and some who don’t even know where to find the glasses… And there are also a ton of pool tables, karaōke, a lot of space, and pinball! Alas, I’ve personally had negative run-ins on multiple occasions with both patrons AND staff. There’s no need for backwoods attitude when a girl’s just trying to chill out over a couple of drinks. As a tip, if you DO decide to hit up this bar, let it be known that they stop serving at 1:45, even on weekends, and they don’t announce it in any way… Classy. Not the worst place I’ve been to, but if I want to have a drink and a game of pool in this ‘hood, I’ll just hop on over to Rococo’s instead…

The service is fast and friendly. The halibut and the clam strips are to die for. The gyros are ok. The slouvaki is out of this world and the greek salads are hit or miss. The atmosphere is friendly and you can tell it is just your local neighborhood pub. Definitely on our new local must list!
