G6 Airpark Portland

My kids really love coming here… But I have issues with the cleanliness… Esp Bathrooms… they could use more attention… Not stocked very well. And pretty dirty.

I would have inserted pics of my kids with this review, but they were too busy jumping the hell around! They would not sit still during the whole hour of their first visit. At $ 12 an hour per kid, it cost me $ 36 frikin’ dollars for them to excercise without socks on! The mini Ninja Warrior course was very challenging for them, as they could focus on their own strengths and weaknesses needed to complete the course. Otherwise, it’s like an oversized bouncey house. My one daughter was so exhausted, that when we got home, she went right to bed for a nap. (good thing??) I think that they would have more fun at a park that would cost me nothing.

This one is great. And the staff and everything is 100% pure badass! Everyone here is very friendly and you can reason with them. This is just about as good as the Vancouver location!

This first part is just telling about what different areas there are. My personal experience is down below.
This is a neat little place in Gresham. Close by to a lot of neighborhoods which makes it really easy to plan a trip there. Inside there is a decent sized arcade, and several jump areas. The main one for everybody has ramps and basketball hoops. Then there is an area for kids 8 and younger, it doesn’t have ramps or anything, just flat trampoline squares. There are two dodge-​ball courts that you can go in whenever you want. There are two air pads that you can jump into which were fun. They don’t hurt at all, but they were SO HARD to get out of, which made me not like them very much. There’s also a small Olympic thread trampoline, which one person can go in at a time and you have to be 16 or older. The last area is a ninja area with obstacle courses like a rock wall and rope swing and stuff. If you fall, you just land in the big air pad below the course.
And now for my personal experience.
We got there 15 minutes after they opened and there were already quite a few people inside. And by the end of our two-​hour jump time, I felt like the main area was too crowded to be able to jump around comfortably. It doesn’t seem like they have any sort of limit as to how many people are allowed in at a time. For the first half hour though, it was pretty cool. It was our family and a few other groups. A lot of preteens jumping around wildly, seeming to think they couldn’t get hurt no matter what kind of crazy tricks they did. Jumping off the walls, doing flips off the ramps, etc. That made me a little nervous because we had two smaller kids with us, and of course the whole «monkey see monkey do» thing came into play, so they were wanting to try everything they saw the older kids doing. Everything was okay though, and like I stated above, if you are worried about your younger kids, there is an area for them, but you can’t be in there with them.
We didn’t eat any of the food in the little snack area but it looked expensive. Besides that they have several water fountains around the building and big, clean restrooms. Overall it wasn’t a bad experience.
But honestly, if you have the time and are willing to drive out to Tigard, Sky High Sports is bigger, with a lot more space for the different areas. I prefer that place over G6.

We had a party at G6 this morning for our 10 year old twins and 15 of their friends. There was a snafu with the pizzas that were being provided by a partnering business… They essentially arrived 40 minutes late which was after the party was set to end. The manager John handled it like a champ and gave us a great discount. Bentina our party handler was also amazing and took great care of us. The whole staff was actually a pleasure to interact with. We will be back.

A friend of ours had their daughter’s birthday here. They reserved both a room and to jump for two hours. Our party was told to leave the room and their time for jumping was over after only an hour and a half later. The staff were rude to our party. After talking to the staff, they gave our party the 30 minutes we had left to jump. Also, you cannot wear socks in the jumping area but we were not told that upon checking in. This place is disorganized and is not very inviting. I do not recommend this place.

You ever have a trampoline as a kid?
My family had a trampoline growing up so I decided I wanted my daughter to experience a trampoline. I had a great experience here at G6, the staff members here were super friendly and polite. I ended up ripping one of the trampolines but the staff didn’t care about the rip in the trampoline, they showed greater care that I wasn’t hurt and you could tell they were sincere when they asked me.
They have great safety training there and are very polite and friendly when interacting with customers.

I like the place super fun for the kids. I was sorrely dissapointed when we had a room for a birthday party reserved. There were two parties scheduled for the same room with three tables in it. We were the first party to arive and set our stuff up on the first two tables. In about 30 min later I saw the second party showed up and set up at our second table. When I asked the front desk they told me sorry I cant ask them too move they set there stuff up. They then told me we are giving you your own room. But the room is freezing cold and it smells super bad like chemical. When I brought it up to the staff, all they said is it shouldnt. They didnt care. This is our first time here and deffinatly will be our last. Very poor service. I will give the one lady credit. Even though it was 30 min after the issue she just now tried to make it right by offering to move us back to the origonal room. My party was too irritated with everything by then and didnt want to move again. If you wanna come here for a few hours to play its a gret place, but if you wanna have a Birthday party here expect to be dissapointed. Im very upset this changed the whole mood of my daughters party.

I was really disappointed when I went here for a friend of mine 3^rd old birthday party. We waited in line to sign up and pay. We get In and bring the kids to the trampolines then we get told the kids can’t wear their own socks??? They told us we had to buy theirs and they can’t jump barefoot? I was furious! Not to mention they did NOT tell us this at the counter. So I’m already mad that I have to BUY socks for the kids and myself to jump but then get to the counter and they don’t even carry kid sizes? Seriously this place is a fucking joke!

LOW BUDGET TRAMPOLINE PARK. save your money and go to GET AIR. WAY overpriced for what they offer. Didn’t seem very clean. Visiting from San Diego with family. Very disappointed. I’ll add that you pay the same price whether you are 5 or 50, the difference is, if you are under a certain height you do not have access to everything. So my 6.5 year old could not go where my 8 year old could go. …

This place is great. They have a basketball area, jumping area for kids 8 and under and a ninja course. There was also blow up pads people could bounce into and an arcade. They have an area where parents can sit.

I went in to the G6 Portland facility today. As I walked in, there was a girl at the desk helping a customer and a girl further back mopping the floors. The girl at the counter greeted me as I walked in. She was friendly and attentive to her other customers as well. Once she was done with the other customer, she again greeted me. This was my first time at this establishment and I asked for a tour. She was happy to give me a tour and had the other employee assist me as there were other customers coming to the counter.
The other female employee was nice as well and led me up to the trampoline areas. There was an area set aside for smaller children under 8 years old which is nice as I feel that the other areas may be a little too extreme for smaller children. A larger area with basketball hoops, a place to do tricks, an area sort of reminiscent of the old gladiators obstacle courses, and a super springy trampoline for those 16 and over I believe. There were nets around everything, padding on the walls, employees monitoring the play, looked pretty safe to me.
I was then led to the areas set aside for parties. There’s a big room for multiple party space and an exclusive space for one party. There’s a pool from the Bally days which she said may be utilized in the future depending on permits. That would really be a plus for this place. The snack stand is just basic but she said that too was in the process of getting a full kitchen. I felt the game room was decent. All in all I feel this place is a good place to take the family. It’s a work in progress and has great potential. The employees I have had contact have been great and I look forward to visiting in the near future!

What a fun place to take your friends and family! I brought in my niece and nephews and they had a blast jumping and eating pizza!

Despite the bad reviews I decided to give it a shot. I went with two 7 year olds and one 8 year old. I will say the staff was all super friendly, you must have each parent sign a waiver which can be done on line for each kid per family. One of the kids hurt his foot immediately the staff got him Ice without even asking for it. The only complaint it is smaller jumping area than the Vancouver location. They need to utilize the space better. Only reason for ⁴⁄₅ stars. The older kids that were there were very respectful towards the you get kids even at dodge ball. The chairs weren’t as horrible as the other review. The game room and sitting area were plenty. Much more space than Vancouver. Had a little snack station. The bathroom does stink and the décor headed in is outdated. The gentleman working there said they are working on upgrades. I hope it they make some positive changes. A new shoe rack would be nice. But overall was a good experience.

G6 in Vancouver was fun, so we decided to bring some out-​of-​town family to the new (and closer) location while they visited for the holidays.
The two female employees at the counter were not friendly at all. They almost seemed annoyed when we walked in and/​or bored by the world. The three (maybe four?) guys that walked around to «monitor» the jumpers really weren’t doing anything but walking back and forth.
My real issue with this place is that they don’t care about safety. They sure pretend like they do with the liability waiver and safety PowerPoint… But the girl that led our safety presentation slurred her words with disinterest, quickly clicked through each slide, and then moved everyone out of her face as soon as humanly possible.
Next, we reach the jump/​flip/​whatever pit. Nowhere we’re there signs that said one person at a time and/​or to wait until the previous jumper was out of the pit. Maybe there was a slide for that, but we obviously didn’t get to see it. In Vancouver, they had someone watching these pits in case they were being used improperly.
Now for the Ninja Challenge. I stood and watched a guy fall twice while my boyfriend went to put on his shoes (I caught that instruction in the safety speech). Both times he landed somewhat on his feet which meant he hit the edge of the airbag and then slid onto the wall… Then walked on the ground to the exit of the challenge. Why? The airbag detaches from the wall because it’s held on by Velcro. Now, almost the entire (if not the whole thing) revolves around the edges of the airbag… So anywhere you land is likely to detach the airbag from the wall (think about how air in a bag shifts when you drop weight on it). You don’t have to be an engineer or architect to understand that. You just need a positive IQ.
My boyfriend did the Ninja Challenge and went a little further than the guy I watched. Instead if hitting the concrete with his feet because of the way he slid off the loose airbag, he hit his tailbone on the concrete. The next morning he had a bruise bigger than my hand on his lower back. And my boyfriend fights MMA, so it’s not exactly like his tolerance is low.
Employees saw. Everyone in our large party as well as some other teenage boys saw. People went to the ninja challenge and tried to look down at where my boyfriend was laying. But I had to go up to the girls at the counter to suggest that the Ninja Challenge be shut down because of the current safety issues. They got it closed off and one of the male employees let me know that it happened to him too and it tends to happen because it’s only Velcro. So in other words, they’re well aware that they have faulty equipment but don’t care to fix it. Oh, and their excuse for it is because they’re «new». It gets better! My boyfriend and I left because he was hurting, and some of our party stayed behind to play air hockey. They watched the employees re-​open the Ninja Challenge five minutes after we left! Classy, right?!
Nobody apologized to us. Nobody offered us ice. Nobody offered us an accident/​incident form. They shut down their danger zone while we were in the facility, but immediately re-​opened it because they obviously don’t care about the safety of others. But they do care about the safety of their business since their biggest concern is that you sign the liability waiver before jumping. The good thing is that negligence is not and can not be covered in a waiver.
I would not recommend bringing children here. Most runs seemed to be dominated by teenage boys practicing flips. The whole back area of jumping is dangerous because of how little safety procedures they practice. And the one little section they have for children to bounce in is NOT worth the cost of admission.
I made a formal complaint to G6 Airpark as of Saturday night. It’s now Monday morning and they haven’t said a single word to me. So maybe it’s not just the neglect of teenage employees that will run their business into the ground. It’s just the company as a whole that does not care for the safety and/​or satisfaction of the people they serve.

This trampoline park was a HUGE disappointment! If you’re use to Sky High over in Tigard you’ll honestly want your money back after visiting G6 Portland. We live in Sandy so it’s still a drive, but we were so excited to have a trampoline park on this side of Portland.
First off the website pictures are nothing close to what this place looks like. They have multiple very small jumping spaces and one slightly larger one… it’s very small and choppy and doesn’t’ flow well. This building is a converted Bally’s fitness and they have left too much of the previous business behind that it just looks cheap and sloppy. The actual trampoline area is okay, it’s new so it still looks like, but all the surrounding floor looks to be left over from Bally’s and it’s gross… not clean and stains.
I am so thankful I used a coupon today because half the trampoline areas were closed. They never mentioned this at the front desk. We sat for a couple of minutes while an employee told us about the rules before we got to jump… she verbally told us about each area and never mentioned that half the trampoline areas were closed.
There was also a guy watching us like a hawk… it was so uncomfortable and he kept telling us, oh you can’t do this, you can’t do that… I was so paranoid I started asking him, «can we do this… or that» and half the time he would say, I don’t know.
The employees are CLEARLY not trained. I swear it’s just a bunch of 20 something year old friends working there.
They have an arcade area that is laughable… gross carpeted area with old wooden tables and chairs and old ANCIENT video games.
They also have a snack bar which is tiny… I am use to Sky High which has hot food and lots of options. Good thing I ate before we came. Your choices are Candy, Chips, Soda, or Shaved Ice.
They do offer jumpers under 3 free entry with a paid entry, but I still have to pay $ 12 for one hour for myself… rip off! They also don’t offer a toddler/​kids time. Sky High offers a toddler time and it’s like $ 6 bucks for the kid and the parents are free.
Their hours don’t make sense either… they open at 1 which isn’t good because kids are still in school and toddler are usually napping. They need to open at 9or 10am for a toddler time… or open after school.
We ended up leaving early and we won’t be back. I understand this place just opened, but if half your place isn’t usable don’t charge full price!
