Experienced coaches and training that is especially helpful for individuals new to training or looking for a drastic change in their health. History

Established in 2007.

Form and Function began as a traditional personal training business in an old-​school style barbell gym in North Portland. Certified as a personal trainer, Josh worked his way through college studying Economics. After being exposed to hundreds of clients, their unique trials and tribulations, and the creative solutions required to progress them towards their goals it became clear that a new way of doing business was required. A holistic approach influenced heavily by the teachings of Paul Chek and the CHEK institute paved the way to a new way of helping and healing clients. Observing and overcoming chronic pain, injury, lifestyle and environmental challenges became part and parcel of coaching clients to the vitality and quality of life that they yearn and strive for!

Business Owner

Josh Sabraw is a lifelong fitness lover, with nearly 6 years of experience training both military and civilian clients. A proactive consumer of fitness information, Josh holds certifications with American Fitness Training Association, National Academy of Sports Medicine, and the Scientific Management of Anatomical Responsive Training.

With male and females both young and old he has created programs to meet a variety of fitness and health goals. Josh has extensive experience in athletics, including training non-​runners to compete in both half and full marathons.

Portland boasts a population of life-​lovers that care enough about their quality of life to live in Portland. Holistic Lifestyle Coaching combined with Personal Training provides clients with skills that help them maintain and improve the already high quality of life. Whether it’s emotional health, physical strength, or personal nutrition Joshua Sabraw will help you play at your personal best.
