Absolutely amazing lamb gyros, I have tried other places and they don’t even compare. The lamb is thick and juicy, practically melts in your mouth. The gyro is nice and hot, unlike other places I have been where it came out room temperature. I have tried many many gyros places in Portland and this is absolutely the best! Don’t hesitate and try it out.

Freaking phenomenal. Must try it. The portions are way more than filling. Recommended!!!
The best sandwich in Portland! When I’m in the area meeting my husband for lunch we both order the lamb gyro. For $ 5, it’s a whole lot of fresh, hearty food. I mean, the chunks of lamb are HUGE! If you haven’t had Egyptian Bros, you need to go now!

Love this place! Not only is it very reasonably priced, but the portions are considerably larger than most gyro food carts. The guy running the cart when I went there was super nice too!

This food here is good. Service friendly. The meats are savory and juicy. The veggies are plentiful and fresh. The flavors are bold and inspire finger licking. The chicken shwarma is transcendent in a thin chewy wrap. Never, ever turn down the spicy sauce. Don’t forget dessert. The almond cake is a light, tasty treat. Egyptian Bros. will have you walking like an Egyptian(Bro).

Excellent! I had the felafel plate, which was not on the menu, but the kind proprietor made one up for me anyway. It was tasty, hot, with a generous serving. I will definitely go back. There’s a nice set of picnic tables there as well.

Unbelievable value on the lamb gyro for only $ 5. Loaded with veggies and extremely bomb meat. One of the better deals in town. Also beer for sale at the beer truck right next to it. Cool little pod of carts, less selection than others around town but worth coming to for the cheap gyros.

Delicious, and a killer deal! Just wish they had a better system for packaging to-go orders(they put wet drippy salads in an umwaxed container so it’s just a soggy mess by the time I get anywhere) and a phone number so we can call in orders ahead of time!

Had the lamb gyro and it was great! $ 5 for a giant gyro with delicious ingredients, not like the usual. Highly recommended

This is one of my favorite food carts but the past two days I’ve tried going and they have been closed both times? **update! Went to this food cart today, got the chicken shawarma… most fantastic shawarma I’ve ever had. There’s pickles and the occasional couple French fries saturated in this delicious creamy sauce… Really the best comfort food ever. Everyone should experience this food cart, so delicious.

The lamb here is so delicious! Juicy, flavorful, just incredible. And the family that operates this food cart are so nice. I always get the lamb over salad and I’m never disappointed.

There was pickled cauliflower in my Gyro. Enough said! This is the place for me! Great service and fast. Will be back to this cart!

The spicy sauce here is to die for!!! It totally took my lamb gyro to another level! My lamb was wonderfully seasoned and was the size of a small baby. Plus, I love how its right next door to a beer cart!!!

Good prices, good middle eastern food! I had the lamb gyro! UPDATE: I came here a month later and got tried the $ 1 hot dog and $ 3 fries. Definitely a mistake on a busy Friday, food took almost 30 minutes, and other people who ordered after me got their food before me. The hot dog tasted as expected, but the fries were kind of cold and small. But then again, you get what you pay for. So in summary, go here if you want higher quantity, Or go to Wolf and Bears if you want higher quality.

These are good lamb gyros! I grew up with Greek gyros, and I’ve found that there are some differences when we start moving the gyros south west to Lebanon and in this case– Egypt. The lamb is chopped not sliced. I couldn’t peer deep enough into the truck to see if the meat was on a rotating spit or pre-chopped, I felt a little weird about how hard it was for me to actually see my food being made(that might be a personal hang-up). There are pickled vegetables in the gyro, which I’m not used to, but liked! Sometimes I refrain from eating gyros because it’s so much meat, rolled tight, and shoved into me. This gyro is huge, but there are vegetables in it– hearty slices of carrot, cucumber and cauliflower. There was enough to make it okay in case someone’s judging you. I’ll come back for the occasional gyro and try the other food there. Unless you don’t have a gyro near you, It’s not great enough that one should travel far and gather the troops.

Was some of the best gyro I have ever tasted. The grilled lamb was perfectly cooked so it was tender and moist with a huge flavor packed in there. Also the tzatsiki was fresh made with a fluffy nice Pita that soaked up the juice and flavor nicely. The owner and his son are extremely nice and welcoming. He has offered to make me traditional Egyptian street food dishes that I saw on No Reservations next time I come. I really wanted to try the street food of Egypt so this will be a treat. This is a highly recommended stop for a quick, cheap, filling meal with great quality.

Woooo hoooo! We now have a good Gyros place within 4 blocks of our house! We are big fans of Gyros. In Portland, Angelinas is the best but these guys come in second. They make a very different kind of Gyro. The lamb still comes from the cone but is cooked separately. And somehow the meat is very moist compared to usual Gyros. Good tasting too. The pita is almost overloaded with meat, lettuce, onions, tomatoes, grilled carrots, cucumbers, and… Pickled cauliflower. Topped with Tzatziki sauce and hot sauce. I did not think the hot sauce was needed. That must be their way of trying to please Portlanders. All the veggies were fresh. Almost more than I can eat. I could have easily shared the gyro with wife. She got a Chicken Shawarma. Her comment… Big and really good. Oh… And had the baklava. It was good and had a nice taste. Call us regulars… We will be back!
