We use the latest technology, finest ingredients, and customize our formula to each client in guarantee a natural looking color. What you get is a flawless natural looking spray tan at an affordable price.

Just because we’re in Portland where we live under cloud cover nine months of the year is no reason for your skin tone to be blinding white. There is a better way.

I know we have all been burned at the spray tanning booths coming out either orange or a streaky mess and having to walk around like that for a week, but this is no spray booth tan.

History

Established in 2011.

Eclipse airbrush tanning came about due to the business owner’s life long quest to find the best sunless tan possible. Red headed, freckled, and unable to tan without painful and lack luster results she traveled trying different services all over the country and even the world, picking up new tips and information as she went. Once she moved to Portland she wanted to share her expertise for obtaining top quality results with pale Portlanders and show them they did not have to settle for anything less than a bronzed beach healthy natural glow.

Amber is continuing Lisa’s mission and vision for great tans for all of us! Lisa is red headed, freckled, and so white she is almost see through Lisa was the perfect guinea pig for a lifetime of self inflicted experiments to attempt to perfect an even long lasting natural looking spray tan. When she felt she had achieved it she could not help but share her expertise with other skin color challenged individuals and thus Eclipse was born.

I’ve been here twice now and had amazing results each time. I was in a wedding recently and got a spray tan. The rest of the bridal party went elsewhere and everyone agreed they should have gone to Eclipse seeing my results. Not a streak to be found, and incredibly natural looking. The ladies who work there are super nice too and professional. Highly recommend and I wouldn’t ever go anywhere else.

Unfortunately Eclipse had been sold since my last visit. My technician was great, but the owner. not so much. She wouldn’t allow me to use my Groupon even though I have used them in the past, multiple times. My tech even called to ask, explaining that I had drove all the way from Troutdale (35 min drive). I opted to still get my spray this time but I will never be going back. I feel she could’ve honored my Groupon to secure a returning client, but instead I wasted my money and time, because unlike she promised I can’t get mt Groupon refunded. She has also increased the rates. Time to start looking for a new place, sure it won’t be hard!

I live in California, but was in Portland for work and then a wedding. I wanted to even out the tan I had. I normally have a go to place near home, but since I was traveling for over a week I decided to get airbrushed right before the wedding in Portland.
Eclipse did not disappoint! My tan was perfect and the color was awesome. A few friends at the wedding kept commenting on how tan I was. I finally admitted I might have been airbrushed. They were all shocked it wasn’t real.
If you’re looking for a great looking tan then I’d highly recommend Eclipse.

I would go back to her any time I’m in Portland and in need of a tan – which, let’s face it, will be always, because God was giving out tans, and Portlanders thought he said plans, and they said, «No thanks, I’m too flaky to stick to those.»

Well ladies I am a seasoned tanner turned air brush tan enthusiast and I can tell you that my skin will NEVER see a bed again since I found Eclipse. It actually looks much better on me than a real tan and I am so grateful to have found them! I only wish I had found them sooner… I have been getting air brushed here for a few years now and some of my friends and co-​workers don’t even know that its not ‘real’. The color is adjusted to my complexion and I am able to go darker for my Hawaii trips or lighter in the winter. I decided to write this review because I had a baby two months ago and just got my first tan since and can’t believe how much better I look and feel. It completely hides the stretch marks! The ladies at Eclipse always catch the details in my hands and feet so that there are no weird flaws there like you can get other places. Mostly I just think they have most natural looking color. Think even, natural, and flawless. Also, their online scheduling is awesome because I can see what is available and book my appointment any time, day or night. Enjoy!

I was getting ready to head to California for a friends wedding and wanted to get a sun kissed look for the big day. I’ve never had a spray tan before so I didn’t really know what to expect going into my appointment. Jenna was really great at making me feel comfortable, answering my questions, and explaining all of the different steps as we went through them. Although this isn’t something I will do on a regular basis, whenever I want to add a little color before a special event this is definitely the place where I’ll go to get it done!

I had a great experience with this! I had never done a spray tan before and I was heading to Hawaii with my hubby. She was wonderful and understanding and the tan was even and looked real. I will definitely do this again whenever I need a little color! I’ve heard horror stories about spray tans in the booths and I think I would always go with this option (having someone help to spray).

The first tan I got at Eclipse looked great. However, when I returned last week, the quality took a down turn. The technician was friendly. However, the tan turned out uneven and a lot darker than I was anticipating based on my last visit and the shade I requested. Also, the inside of my wrists turned very orange and there were multiple areas on my body that turned out much darker than others.

I’ve had two great tans here at both locations but my most recent experience (3rd visit) has me re-​thinking coming back here.
I was in a wedding and was able to fit in an appointemet during a very hectic time. I showed up and to my surprise the technician chose to see someone else during my appointment so I sat waiting for 30 minutes. They could have at least called me.
To add insult to injury when I explained that I was unimpressed with the timing issue the woman was unapologetic and then my tan was blotchy and uneven. No thanks.

My experience here was awesome! Lisa took her time with me and did a great job. I was a little nervous because I’m naturally super pale in the winter, but the the results are totally natural and streak free! Lisa even offered to touch me up after I mistakenly got a wax right after my appointment.

My Groupon experience was a breeze. I can believe how easy this is to just roll on in, and 12 min later youre a beautiful, bronzed, gorgeous island princess with a flawless tan. Immediate confidence booster! I really appreciate the attention to the details with feet, toes, hands, and fingers. Great airbrush, great value.

This was my first experience with air brushing and it was a success. I went in preparation for my wedding in September and was really happy with the results. The place is small and private. They make it all seem like no big deal to get completely naked (or as naked as you’d like) in front of them and it sets a really casual tone. At the same time there is a lot of attention paid to getting smooth coverage and ensuring that you’ve fully exfoliated away any old spray tan. The price is really decent, especially for new accounts. The color photographed wonderfully!
A bonus: my mom went with me to both appointments and stripped all the way down to her undies. It says a lot that the staff and atmosphere created a comfortable enough environment for her to make this big (and unusal for her) step.
Really great service and I will be back for future events.
