My go-to beer and wine store. They are more expensive BC they are the only ones in this little area, but they are open very early and very late. Love the owner. There’s a bit of charm about the store that I find amusing. Sushi’s next-door, and there’s a park behind if you wanna enjoy your food and drinks in nature. There’s also a lilac park within walking distance if you want to smoke a joint amongst beautiful smelling trees while enjoying beer from the boss.

The older male cashier has tried overcharging us twice — the second time we called him out and he said it was a mistake. Fool me once…

This is your local convenient store where«everyone knows your name». Great for people who are commuting or in the neighborhood and don’t want to fight for a parallel parking spot. Location inevitably invites transients, but owners and clerks do their best to keep things safe. It’s nice to get an honest«Hello» when you stop in.

— They charge more for Chocolate Nesquik compared to Plaid Pantry or 7 Eleven. — I didn’t see any Deli food when I went there in the evening, maybe they just have them in morning/afternoon time. — Dirty magazines are in the front of the store. Yes, you can stare at them when you are paying at the cash register(or pretend not to stare at them) but honestly it’s kinda hard to not stare. Those melons are humongous!

This convenience store boasts a surprisingly wide variety of delicious snacks and beverages, and they don’t overcharge terribly too much compared to some other small-business convenience stores in the area. The guys that work here are awesomely friendly, and their deli foods are pretty tasty. I have no idea what all is exactly in a ‘Bongo Bar’ but those things are delicious. But what truly warranted me taking the time to post up a review on a convenience store is this little anecdote: A friend of mine & I went there for two things: beverages and sandwich bread, to make a tasty lunch out of Christmas leftovers. They did not have bread for sale out on the floor, HOWEVER, they offered to let us purchase one of their oversized, thick sliced deli loaves for $ 2.99! We did so, and glorious sandwiches were shortly thereafter consumed. Way to be, guys!
