Dexterous Productions is a live sound and rental company based in Portland, Oregon. The company’s mission is to provide quality customer service in live sound, lighting, recording, and event rentals at an affordable price. Owner, James Jacobsen, started the company with the idea of making live recordings available to the consumer the day after a show. He has lived in Oregon since birth and spent most his life involved in sound. He spent a year in radio at KWVA EUGENE, as the music director, board director, host, and producer. After leaving radio in 2006, he has spent time recording. Since then, the company has shifted gears more to live sound and rentals.
