Fantastic! Just purchased 2 amazing sport coats. Fashion I’d expect to see in NYC or LA, Brent’s done an incredible job sourcing unique pieces. Ismond was extremely helpful and patient. Impeccable service. This is a must-​shop location for a sharply dressed man.

I do love this place. Brent brings in a great selection of affordable Italian fashion. Colors and patterns abound, excellent fits, in what I deem to be the pinnacle of men’s fashion. It is a very comfortable shopping experience, and having Mike the tailor in the back is a definite time saver.

Recently my husband bought I suit for my son’s wedding. Great staff. Fantastic suit fitting. I am a big fan and would recommend this store. They had such a great flare for what would look great.

This place is terrific. I drove up from mid-​valley to get some new clothes for a memorial service. Brent gave me one hour of his time, suggested a variety of options, and worked with me to put together a great outfit. Prices were very reasonable and the service was peerless. I will return (often) to help rebuild a new wardrobe.

I have visited 70+ countries and lived in 6 (including UK — London). Collier is hands down the best value for money for great European styles. Love Brent and his amazing team.

Got a suit from here a couple months ago. After a couple trips for alterations the suit came out perfect. the fabric and cut is perfect and I am completely satisfied. Would definitely plan on going there for another suit in the future. For a cost perspective, spent around $ 800 for suit and a shirt.

My husband George has been getting suits from Brent for years. He used to have his shop in Pioneer Place but moved onto Broadway since the last time we visited. Brent is really nice, makes my husband laugh and knows fashion and quality. I think he is a Portland guy who clearly has some inspired fashionista roots. Apparently he goes to Italy to pick out his offerings. My husband is pretty darn stylish (guys tease him, he’s deserving of a metro comment or two). Anyway, George keeps coming back and Brent steers him quickly to his personal best in show. Plus, there is a very comfy spouse sofa.

This is the spot for hip stylish gentleman attire. Tucked away in a storefront basement, it’s a secret gem of Portland. We came across it on a whim and now we don’t leave Portland until coming here to update the hubby’s wardrobe. Staff is very helpful. Pricing is unbelievable considering that most of the clothing is hand picked and imported from Italy by the owner.

I’ve purchased a few suits from Collier and I’ve always been 100% satisfied with my purchases. If your looking for high quality materials and new, European trends this is your place.
A month before my wedding I found myself without 10 suits for myself and my groomsmen. I walked in one day and explained to Brent (the owner) my situation and he very confidently told me that he’s got me covered. He ordered custom suits for my wedding and what I got was much higher quality than What you’d find at a large retailer and at prices that were affordable.
This experience has solidified Collier as the only place I will buy suits in the future.

I went to Collier for some stylish professional clothing and it was a wise choice. The staff were very nice and helpful. They were clearly experts on everything they had in stock and on men’s fashion. I’m an odd size and they offered to alter the shirt I purchased for free if it doesn’t feel quite right after I wear it to an upcoming event.
I peeked around the rest of the store and they had a lot of really nice stuff you won’t find elsewhere. I’ll be going back for sure.

In downtown Portland near Pioneer Square
a sort of shabby and forgotten looking window display marks a multi use clothing store complex with some hard to find promise.
As you head down the stairs, if in fact you can find Collier, you might feel as though you are going to a thrift store or a bargain house, but you’ll find some interesting fashionable items supposedly just flown in from Colliers recent trips to Italy.
Smart fitting suits and pants lean on the trendy side, but there are more traditional options as well, of no name labels with questionable quality.
The lean fitting jackets wowed me with their style, slim cuts and fit, some patterned, all with a distinct Italian style.
Prices are good, and bargain-​able. Hopefully you will meet the spastic Collier himself who will be happy to guide you down his crazy LA super freeway with his wonderful Roman high espresso energy.
It all feels like a strange outlet in a tucked away basement in Naples, which adds to the appeal. I found several jackets and pants that looked smart, and chic out of a ready to wear house. It also felt a little iffy, but my shoppers lust meter went hyper red.
I practiced some restraint and walked out with only one jacket — an expensive looking double breasted purple number with metal buttons, long slightly fluted cuffs, and a rich interesting pattern of wild teal and pink colors straight out of a 1970’s Fellini movie.
They offered 2 jackets for $ 250 but I was a little leery of the quality and the value.

Collier is the BEST in town!
I took my precious son to Mr. Brent Collier’s store on Broadway to buy his prom suit.
We came from a Men’s Wearhouse in Beaverton after having a frustrating experience there (quality, fitting skills and the store clerks’ knowledge and their interests).

As soon as Mr. Collier and his handsome cellist staff had assisted my son, I knew instantly they were fantastic. What an artist ! Being a businessman’s daughter, I’ve seen many good quality suits everyday, and seen how it should be fitted. I’m also a very picky mom.
Mr. Collier won me over in a few seconds !
My mouth was instantly closed and I just enjoyed watching them working with my boy
(which is ultra rare…).
I was so happy and so was my son. The suit they had picked for him is made of exquisite Italian fabric. Mr. Collier had kindly and thoughtfully made some fine adjustments so the suit fits my son perfectly. Mr. Collier thoughtfully took into some considerations that my teenage son’s body may change a bid, and he made sure the future adjustments could be done easily. And the tie they had picked (beautiful flowery color) for my son made him so impressed.
We could not possibly think of a better combination by ourselves.
We love Collier and Mr. Collier. What an artist. You will be very pleased.
I wish I could show you all the photos I had taken while we where there with Mr. Collier for my family and friends in overseas. My mother said my son was showing the biggest smile she had not seen in a while.

I came to Collier looking for my first suit for my upcoming wedding. I shopped around at a couple other places before hand and I am VERY happy I came here. The store is clean, modern, comfortable, and inviting. The staff immediately knew what size I was and showed me different options. I was immediately impressed. Even the phone call before I stopped by the store was incredibly helpful. I ended up with an unbelievably sharp looking suit, crisp white shirt, and a tie. After shopping around, Collier is competitively priced with service light years ahead of bigger chain stores. Just wanted to say thanks to all of the staff that helped me out!

Good selection of modern clothing mostly made in Italy. From tailored to casual the store is curated nicely. While the clothing is up to date and contemporary there is nothing silly or pretentious in the selection. Great service from a group of friendly guys that really care about helping you find the right thing. If you need something tailored in a hurry they find a way to get it done.

Super nice service and fantastic selection of clothes with Italian spice. I got a great shirt and a fantastic pin stripped jacket. Lovely people. Will come back again.

I love this store. It has a lot of really great clothes that I never have enough time to shop through.
Mostly though, I love the dog there. I chased it around the store for about ten minutes. Its super playful. The people working there have a great relationship and have known each other for 15+ years so it was great talking to them. I like being places where everyone enjoys each others company, it makes the whole experience that much better.
Anyway, good clothes, good atmosphere, no food or drink menu though. What the eff.

Have you ever walked in a store and everything there screams «try me!». This store is it. Every article of clothing there seems like a perfect fit for me. Each item is well crafted. The jackets are well made and fits you like you’re about to hit the runway.
The guy who helped me shed some knowledge about how they procure such number of clothes or the limited amount of it. He resembles Bruce Willis. Friendly, warm and hospitable.
Why buy from a flash fashion designer shop when you can get them for almost half the price? The fabric and made are well here. Plus you’ll be treated like a king.

Brent Collier resembles Bruce Willis. But that’s unimportant, we are in Portland and we don’t care about celebrity. In any event, he would would be the good Bruce Willis, not the bad.
What is important in Portland is that Mr. Bruce, I mean Brent Collier has made a career of going to Italy and buying clothing direct, and the same with the NYLA garment districts. He brings it back to little, but creative Portland. Who else does that here? No one. And Collier has an excellent eye.
He buys shirts, suits, jackets, sweaters, ties, belts scarves, and more, in small quantities. The quality is stellar, and the price earthbound.
I found a great lightweight wool Italian suit at Collier with extra pants at a very, very reasonable price. Let’s just say ¼ to ¹⁄₃ the price of any place in the area. Same for some dress shirts which continue to draw compliments. Collier has a wider range of color than some of our stylish male clothing purveyors who hew to black, brown, gray and white.
If you want unique suit fabrics at a reasonable price that would qualify you to be in The Sartorialist
, this is the only place in Portland. His former store was the Stockroom, and all the cool kids in town, now grownups, have been patrons for a while.
If you need fashion advice or suggestions shopping, Collier can provide that too.
