Combine these offerings with their «Session of the Month» specials and Campbell Salgado Studio truly offers something for every family’s budget.

History

Established in 1995.

Husband-and-wife team Francisco Salgado and Kim Campbell met as students at the University of Oregon and went on to found Campbell Salgado Studio in 1995. Initially, they photographed a wide range of subjects, but soon found a niche with pregnancy portraiture. And when formerly expectant mothers began returning to the studio with infants in tow, a new specialty was born: family portraits. Since then, Campbell Salgado Studio has catered to new and growing families, providing both in-studio and in-home portrait photography services.

Meet the Business Owner

Kim C.

Business Owner

Born and raised in the Portland metro area. Kim holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from the University of Oregon where she met her husband and business partner, Francisco Salgado in a sculpture class over 15 years ago. After the U of O she went on to earn a Master’s degree in Art Therapy from Marylhurst University.

Kim has always been a visual person and searches for beauty in nature, people and life’s moments. She began studying photography at the U of O and loved the way she could create images that evoked emotion.

She transitioned into photographing for Campbell Salgado Studio in 1997 and designs many of the product lines and ventures the studio is involved in. Patience and intuition allow families and children to feel comfortable in her presence. As a result, studio portraits are natural and candid. Her networking and business skills lead her to become a founding member of MotherSource.org a website designed to provide trusted resources that support families.
