Bryan P Murphy

Bryan P. Murphy is an extremely ignorant lawyer. I received a half cocked demand letter from him on behalf of one of his clients, also one of my tenants. His attempt with this letter was to scare me into releasing property of his client, but the result was I laughed hysterically and his client ended up paying me TEN TIMES what they were asking from me. The letter could not have been more unprofessional and incorrect. He quoted laws that do not exist, made demands he has no right to make, and empty threats that wouldn’t scare an old lady. The letter was sent via text message and email, not certified postal mail like most professionals would use. Any idiot knows a demand letter does not provide results without certified delivery. The first letter he sent me was full of factual and typographical errors, he had to send another letter to correct himself a few minutes later. Obviously didn’t even bother to proofread it. I thought this guy must be a new lawyer but he claims more than 20 years experience, HOW PATHETIC!
Mr. Murphy’s lame attempt at a sharply worded demand letter backfired terribly for his client. The end result is that he cost them many times what they would have had to pay if they did not hire him in the first place. Find yourself somebody else, this guy does not have a strong understanding of standard legal concepts. It seems like he just makes up laws as he goes. Maybe he was just trying to bluff me, either way, it was laughable, which is the opposite of his intended purpose. He should have instead advised his clients they had no legal position and they should not do anything to further harass me. Giving the correct advice would have saved his client more than four thousand dollars…

Bryan was very reassuring about a very long, complicated scary tax mess. His quick clear-​headed thinking helped to eventually get me out of a quagmire I wasn’t sure would end! He’s in for the long haul and will be there for you. Thanks Bryan!

Bryan is a good guy to talk to.
One thing I highly respect is integrity. Bryan reviewed a complex case that a divorce attorney had handled poorly and decided that the costs outweighed the benefits for me, and recommended I didn’t continue, given the financial risk I was facing.
In a world where people too often say whatever you want to hear in an attempt to extract money, that was a welcome change of pace.
I’d go back, since I know I“ll get an honest appraisal of the potential case at a business level.
