Bridgetown Window & Door

We had five windows replaced and they all turned out great! The crew was very professional, fast, and SO clean. We are thrilled with the results. Scheduling the bid and the work was a breeze. I definitely recommended them if you live in an older house and want new windows put in the existing frames.

We had almost every window in our old four-​square (lead paint hazard) replaced with a combination of Marvin and Milgard wood/​fiberglass windows. This is a big, expensive job and Bridgetown was competitive with multiple other offers. We’re glad we chose Bridgetown as they showed great communication and completed a detailed, and attentive install job by an experienced and friendly team. They did a thorough job ensuring lead from old paint did not contaminate the bedrooms/​house. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Bridgetown Window and Door replaced my old broken sliding patio door with a beautiful, clean, updated, shiny new one. Kevin came out and measured. Jeremy came and installed. My wife and I felt perfectly comfortable having them in our home. Working with them was an absolute pleasure. Kevin and the team at Bridgetown Window and Door are absolutely top-​notch. From start to finish they were so professional, so flexible and extremely friendly and accommodating to work with. I had them come out to do an initial bid and then decided not to do the work and when I called a week later to do another bid on different windows, they came right out and didn’t balk at all. They fit me into the busy summer schedule so as not to hold up my own, they had products to fit a wide range of budgets, and their installation team did high-​quality work, was clean and extremely efficient — they even offered to help with something a previous contractor had left undone on my roof while they had their long ladders up. I was so nervous having someone cut into the side of my house to make an egress-​compliant window (nightmares of rain and such leaking in running through my head) and they did a fantastic job, and sealed the house up tight.
I would recommend BW&D to anyone. My house is my most important asset and they treated it as if it was their own and went above and beyond. I wish they did general construction so I could have them on our entire remodel.

Bridgetown just installed 9 Marvin windows for us. 7 ultimate double hung and 2 large picture windows. We have a 1942 home that had the original double hung windows in it and we wanted to keep the look. These windows are fabulous! Smooth and easy to operate and clean, aluminum clad on the outside, beautiful fir on the inside.
Bridgetown’s work was some of the best I have seen (and I have contracted for quite a bit of work over the years). They were super professional with great communication from the start. Laura was a joy to talk to, prompt to respond, and very accommodating. Kevin, in sales, was knowledgable and passionate about their products with competitive pricing. Jeremy and the crew were incredible clean and professional. I appreciated that each member of the crew shook hands, gave me their name, and asked me if I had any questions. The work itself was phenomenal! Great attention to detail with an end product that looks vintage and is a great asset to the home. We just had our four dining room windows done and they look fantastic! I shopped around quit a bit before committing to Bridgetown and found their prices to be as good as they get. At first my husband and I had reservations because they outbid our other top choice by a fair margin, but when I expressed my concern about the only difference in work between Bridgetown and their competitor, Kevin of Bridgetown had no problem working with me to meet the same standards as their competitor for the same initial price. Working with Kevin and his team was also fantastic because they were able to fit us in weeks before they had initially thought, and once here, Justin was able to do the job hours faster than he quoted because all the windows were in one room and required less set up and clean up.
Kevin and his team were always available to answer any questions we had and were very quick about sending receipts, amendments to contracts and so forth. They are very friendly and clearly care about the quality of their work from beginning to end. I was delighted to come home to see our new windows and am amazed at their flawless quality. They blend easily into the room and don’t seem starkly, awkwardly new as some renovations tend to do. Because I had never had window work done before, I had expected a far more involved paint touch-​up job than is needed. Truly some incredible handy work!

These guys have been amazing. Very professional and have been accommodating for all of our requests. For budget purposes, we’ve been doing a few windows at a time, forcing Kevin to come to my house more times than I’d care to admit. He’s been great through the whole process. Can’t recommend enough.

We love the work Bridgetown did at our house. We got several quotes from other companies and they were our top choice based on price and time. The installation went great… the work was excellent, we love the windows, everyone was friendly, and they kept the house spotless. I can’t say enough good things about Bridgetown Windows and Door. We talked to several window companies to get estimates, and we even had some slightly lower bids, but we were really impressed by how thoughtful and detailed Bridgetown was – Kevin took a lot of time to explain our options, and didn’t mind our numerous questions, nor did he mind when we made a last-​minute change to our order. When the big day came to install all the windows, Bridgetown’s workers showed up right on time. They were polite, friendly, and installed new windows for us that fit perfectly with our vintage home. It took a while for us to get scheduled because they are in high demand, but this small company deserves all the business they get. I can’t say enough good things about them.

My wife and I could not have been happier with Bridgetown Window and Door. We moved into a 1922 house in Buckman about a year ago. Most of the windows were originals. The storms were so rotted and warped that the glass was actually pushing out of the frame. During the winter, if you stood within a foot of several of the windows you could feel the cold air coming in.
We called several window companies to get quotes. We considered two, but Bridgetown had better reviews and was also cheaper. Based on the quotes, we found that we had underestimated the cost of the project. Kevin was great about working with us to adjust the budget.
We ended up having over 20 windows replaced. Kevin and Jeremy were great to work with. My wife really appreciated how incredibly responsive Kevin was to questions. Jeremy’s installation work looks perfect. Our house is now warmer and quieter, and the windows match the style of the rest of the house.
We have already recommended Bridgetown to our neighbors. If anyone else asks, I will insist that they get a quote from Bridgetown. The process of working with them was great, and the actual windows look incredible. If you’re considering any window work, you need to call Bridgetown.

Over the course of living in our current home, we have worked with a number of companies from arborists to plumbers to general contractors. Simply put, Bridgetown Windows and Doors puts them all to shame from a service and quality standpoint. We worked with them to replace two large picture windows and our front door. Throughout the estimation process Kevin was prompt and professional in his responses and gave us an extremely affordable and reasonable approach to our project. Kevin even worked with us to figure out how to protect our new door from our eager pup who likes to jump and scratch when new people step onto our porch.
On the day the work started we had the pleasure of meeting Kevin’s business partner Jeremy. Of all of the people we have worked with, Jeremy stands above the rest. He is an extraordinarily hard worker who approaches his work with extreme care and humility. Upon arriving at our home he patiently walked us through his intended plan and then proceeded to thoroughly tape off and protect his workspace, inside and out. Throughout the project he was constantly cleaning up after himself and double checking the quality of his work. He was at our house for two days and each day Kevin came by to check on us and our progress, even sending my wife an email after the first day to check in on her and the project. We could not be happier with the end result, the fit and finish of the windows and door is of exceptional quality and came out exactly as we imagined they would. I sincerely wish these guys did more than just windows and doors so we could hire them for all of our home improvement projects.

Kevin was patient with responding to our multiple requests for various configurations of windows & sliders. He doesn’t pressure or do any slick tactics, and is the kind of person I wanted to hire for the job.
Jeremy’s installation work is fantastic, as is his conscientiousness around the house — his area was always clean when he left, I trust him completely, and I could leave him to work in the house while out of town and not have any concern at all that things would not be done top notch.

The quality and professionalism we experienced with the Bridgetown team was amazing. Kevin was more than available for any questions along the way. He provided us with useful suggestions for hardware and staining as well (Duane is pretty much a staining god). Jeremy was extremely considerate and tidy through the whole instillation process. Bridgetown Window and Door did an amazing job putting all new Jeld Wen windows in our vintage Portland home. Pure professionalism from start to finish. I contacted Kevin, the owner of Bridgetown, around 10÷1÷13 to find out how to get an estimate for three new windows in my house. We were quickly able to coordinate a time for him to come over and take measurements. He was prompt & professional, knowledgeable and very honest with me about what needed to be done and the overall amount of time it would take. After getting two more quotes from reputable competitors, I ultimately chose to work with Bridgetown because of their reasonable prices and excellent service up to that point. Once I signed the contract, Kevin kept me updated with the status of the manufacturing (the windows had to be custom made). As soon as he found out when the windows would be ready, he immediately called me to coordinate a day/​time for the installation. His team showed up right on time and did a great job of ensuring that nothing in the house would get dirty or damaged. Kevin even dropped in about halfway through the process to make sure things were going well. The team did an amazing job on the windows and the house was as clean as before they arrived. I’m very happy with their work as well as my overall business dealings with Kevin, and I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Today Jeremy is putting the finishing touches on the gorgeous windows and darling front door he just installed in my 1920s era bungalow in the Alameda/​Beaumont neighborhood. I couldn’t be happier.
Every part of the process of working with Bridgetown Window and Door, from Kevin’s initial visit and timely estimate, to the consideration for my budget, to the scheduling, and ultimately the beautiful installation job, has been awesome.
