Our confections are handmade in small batches featuring Oregon’s prized local honey, butter, cream, coffee, berries, mint, walnuts and hazelnuts. The chocolate is domestic bean to bar chocolate. Packaging is designed with consideration of the environment. These are candies that you can feel great about eating.
History
Established in 2010.
In my career as a pastry chef I have lived and worked all over the United States. Each town has a unique identity that I experienced through food. Living in Portland Oregon has been a paradise of ingredients and has grown a food community that celebrates locality. In 2010, I set out to showcase our region with an ingredient-driven candy bar line.

Business Owner
Trained as a Pastry Chef at the Culinary Institute of American in Hyde Park, NY, lived across the country of working for a variety of fine dining establishments. Moved to Portland in 2001 and fell in love with the food, lifestyle and the beautiful setting, as well as her husband. Two Children later, Bees & Beans was launched.
