I raised their rating. Although I didn’t have a great experience the 2^nd time I did have a REALLY great first time experience. Plus the owner contacted me and offered to redo my mani/​pedi for free and honestly that is nice to hear. I will try again :)

My nails hurt. They are all different sizes. I asked three times to make them shorter and same size? Common sense you would think, and still didn’t happen. Overpriced. Cuticles not taken care of well. I think she forgot a nail and a finger is part of s love human being and just decided to go to town on it with a chainsaw. I thought I was going to bleed under my nail. I expect someone not to rush and pay attention to details.
Had to go home and re-​file and reshape. Was charged for a full set when I came for a full and no tips were even used.
Just one of the worst experiences for an acrylic fill for me.

I went back finally and had a wonderful experience. The girl doing my pedicure was delightful and for the first time I got a manicure. They actually did the manicure at the same time. It was with the gel polish and it is expected to last a minimum of 2 weeks. We’ll see.
Update:
It only lasted 4 days. I went back the welcoming attitude was gone. They fixed my manicure but it started coming off the next day. So it was a huge waste of time, I was sort of peer pressured into getting it when I first got it. Waste of money. I miss the previous owners.
Higher prices, lower quality. I won’t be back. I need to find a new place. So disappointed.

I couldn’t love this place more !! This whole salon is beyond amazing! They truly do a great job and are sweet as can be!
I was a little hesitant the first time going here because it is at a mall. (I’ve never had a good experience in a mall). I said whatever, it’s 5 minutes away, if I hate them, I’ll take them off. I was hoping to find a new regular place that wouldn’t let me down.
I made an apt, got there a little late and I was seated almost immediately. I commented on a picture I had seen on Unilocal of a girls Halloween nails, they were gorgeous! It just so happens the girl doing my nails was the lady who did those nails. Her name is Wynn and now I specifically ask for her. (Even though everyone else there is just as amazing!!!)
I left with my nails looking flawless as can be.
I got into a car accident almost 2 weeks later, broke two of my fingers and severely messed the car up.
All of my nails still looked amazing!!! They weren’t even coming up the slightest bit.
That’s when I knew I’d never go to another salon!
Yesterday I got my nails done here and I had a picture of these nails and she told me it would be impossible to do what I wanted with shellac. It was a red with black tips blended together and matte on top.
Wynn and her husband figured out how to do it, stayed almost an hour after they closed and my nails look FREAKING AMAZING!!!
My toes look great, my fingers look great & my eyebrows look great !!
Go here, you won’t be disappointed!!!

Not super impressed went to this salon because it is close to my work.
The process took over an hour for a full set (not done the way I wanted)
While I was at this nail salon no one said «hi» or anything to the effect of that
I wanted a Solar full set and left with a shellac manicure? Not sure if that’s what I ended up with

Love this place! Great techs, clean atmosphere, best pedicure I’ve had in a long time. I’m a very picky person & when it comes down to a woman’s beauty I highly recommend this salon! Happiest people I’ve ever met in a salon. Perfect English & let’s just say no one talked smack :) Now that’s A big plus! I get very disappointed when I hear my people talk crap about others in their native language & believe me I don’t back down & don’t shut my mouth either. Unfortunately for them, No one knows I’m half Viet until they say something disrespectful & cross the line. Anywho, love this place & I will drive the 40 minutes to get there, see you guys soon!

The young girl with the pink glasses did such an amazing job! She paid so much attention to detail. It took about two hours to do everything but they are the best looking nails I’ve ever had done! Thank you so much! Definitely coming back here. I found my new place!

Wen has done my nails the past 2 times and she has done a great job. My only complaint would be that the first time I went in there to get a full set unthought is was 25 but it’s now 35 $ and looked and a fill was 15, I went back 2 weeks later and the fill went from 14 $ to 25 $. Think I’ll go a few more times cause she’s a great artist but will go somewhere else once holidays are over when I won’t want designs as much.

I went here with my boyfriend just a few days ago, and I am incredibly pleased! I scheduled a Mani-​pedi for 4pm, however, Life happens, so I had to reschedule for 5 o’clock, at around 4:15 PM, but they were very understanding. We ended up going in around 4:50 PM, in being seated immediately. The pedicure was fantastic, as well as the massage. Soon after I was swept away for my manicure. It took a bit longer than I was expecting. I just got matte black tips, but it took about an hour. The shop was supposed to close at 6 PM, but we were there until 6:30 PM, just waiting on my nails to be done. I will say however, that the older gentleman did do a fantastic job, no matter the time that it took. All in all, I enjoyed my experience, and I may be back again. I was delighted by how clean and efficient this place is.
Update: lasted slightly less than a week. :(

SherriAnn was my technician and I recommend her unreservedly. She is friendly, knowledgable, sweet, professional, thorough, and cares about her clients. She won me over, I’ll never go anywhere else as long as she’s at Beauty Nails.

My sisters and I have been going here for years. Very clean, great prices, and we have always noticed pedicures last longer from here than anywhere else. Scott and Amy are still the owners, but the place is under new management. New faces, but quality continues to be great. One of the newer techs, Cherie, is fabulous! So friendly and clearly knows what she’s doing. :)

I’ve been getting my nails done here for about 3 years… Scott and Amy are wonderful… I really wish I knew where they are now as they are no longer here… they were the best
it’s just not the same with them gone.

I really wanted to have a nice, relaxing pedicure. What I got was a rushed version that left me looking like a little kid painted my toes. I mentioned my dissatisfaction to my nail tech, very quietly and discreetly. She nodded, smiled and said «thank you». I repeated myself a bit louder and she still said thank you.
The worst was when I got home and my husband saw my feet — it looked so ridiculous he laughed!
I really liked the massaging chairs here but I don’t think I’ll be back.

I flew into town for the weekend, and my mother and I wanted to get a mani/​pedi on the way back from the airport. This was hands-​down the best experience I have had at a nail salon in a long time.
First of all, it’s a clean spa. Second, they were very reasonably priced!
But most wonderful of all was my nail tech Cherianne (I hope I am spelling that correctly!). Not only is she kind and helpful, but she took so much time and care with both my fingers and toes. It’s a week later now, and my manicure still looks as fresh as day one! She helped me pick out colors (I’m indecisive) and put on three coats rather than two to make sure the color was as even as it could be. I only wish I could bring her back with me! Thank you my dearest for your wonderful service and friendly demeanor.
My mom also had a good experience. She had Van, who was efficient and friendly. We thought this was an excellent experience, and I recommend it to anyone in the Portland area!

I hadn’t received a professional pedi in a loooooong time. (I usually do them myself). But a couple weeks ago I really just wanted to get one. It was a Saturday and I have seen this place inside the 205 Mall. I called and they were going to close in 30 minutes, but they said they would see me.
I was warmly greeted when I arrived and they helped me pick a color. I really liked what was on the owners toes (bright peach) so she helped me find it and then we got to pedi business!
My technician didn’t really talk to me which I don’t mind, but she was kind and took her time on each step. I really loved the lotion they used, it smelled so good! At the end she went over my cuticles with one of those acrylic nail brushes dipped in nail polish remover to ensure it looked perfect. YES! By this time they were closed but the gal didn’t rush me out the door, she even made me sit under a solar nail dryer two times.
I love this place and will definitely be coming back. I’ve had my share of $ 40 and up pedicures, but I think this place did just a good of a job, and it was only $ 20! Score! Next time I think I will get the $ 30 mani/​pedi combo. Give this place a try! :)

This place is amaaazing, and definitely a hidden treasure AND a diamond in the rough inside of Mall 205. It’s clean, nice, and most importantly, your nails will turn out A MASTERPIECE.

Run and owned by a very nice couple. I only get pedicures here, so can’t speak for the manicures or other services they provide. Pedicures are great, and priced right. If your a dude that takes care of his feet, I highly recommend this place!

Amy is amazing. The place is always clean and the staff are friendly. They do get very busy so it’s best to make an appointment. I feel like I’ve found a diamond in the rough at mall 205.

Beauty Nails is cheap and they do have massage chairs.
But, the guy who did my pedicure did an express version. I went with a friend and was done a full 15 minutes before her. He didn’t put enough lotion on my legs for the massage and it didn’t feel as luxurious and relaxing as typical pedicures do.
And, the application of nail polish left much to be desired, too. They didn’t put enough of the color on certain parts of my nails, leaving it uneven. And my friend ended up with 3 coats of a glittery over coat when she had wanted just one.
It accomplished the task: a last-​minute pedicure for cheap. But, I rather pay $ 5 more and go somewhere else in the future.

Love the $ 20 spa pedicure! It was my first time here after seeing the $ 30 mani&pedi deal. I came on a Sunday afternoon and there was only a customer, got service right away. They did everything you could think of for $ 20 (ok, maybe not the little hot wax buff), but there was massage, dead skin peeling, scrubbing and hot towel. I was really happy with the service I got.
Conversation with your technician is minimal, but that’s exactly what I want! Just sit back, relax and read a magazine. Or update your Unilocal review like me! :)
