Alpine Glass Service

Made multiple attempts to schedule a very simple job and the customer service was horrible. Not sure what all of the 5 star reviews are all about, but my opinion is that these guys don’t really seem to care about being helpful with their customers. I am happily moving on to a more professional window company.

Where does one start with a 5 star rated business that touts excellent customer service? The answer is with Alpine Glass Service. Given the reviews, I did the right thing and thought I made a decent choice. Contrary to the alternate reviews given by other customers, I simply had the absolute worst experience with these people. Forget the notion that they showed up an hour and a half late and had me wait past their «Comcast» hours between 1 – 3. Forget the fact that they ordered the wrong size glass and cost me an afternoon of work during the week. I will not, however, forget the fact that when I called to ask questions as to why there were so many missteps along the way and what the solution was going to be, I actually was yelled at by the owner and told that «@#$% happens buddy.» Apparently gathering information and trying to problem solve with someone you are paying for a service does not bode well with these people. Normally when these things happen, the expectation is to have some sort of compromise and yet it turns out I was the one being level headed. Put simply, either these people were having a bad moment or they just don’t seem to care much about doing the right thing. Either way, I would strongly advise not using this company under ANY circumstances!
If I could give them zero stars I would, unfortunately the lowest I could go is 1.
VERY BAD EXPERIENCE FROM START TO FINISH…

Truly the best in the valley, glass for doors, showers, counters… They deliver time and again.

We used Alpine Glass for a recent Fitness Center build. They were professional, friendly, quick and competitive with their pricing. They delivered and installed the mirrors we ordered and did an outstanding job. Will definitely use them again!

Had a quick telephone convo, information-​gathering for a table I’m covering. The man on the other end was super friendly, super informative and actually recommended another company for the product I’m looking for, stating it would be much cheaper. I appreciate the honesty and will definitely be back.

I was in a tight jam trying to sell the house and needed to replace a very tricky window quickly. Called about 5 companies; Alpine was one of two that could handle the window, and the only one that could do it quickly. Courteous on the phone, accommodating to my various requests, and professional on site.

I have been using a wooden panel door as a dining tabletop which is cool looking but. bumpy.
I called with my (very exact) measurements to get a piece of glass to use as the tabletop. The very next day I got a call that it was ready to pick up.
It was exactly what I needed and they even gave me the little rubber dots to stick between the glass and the table surface. They finished the edges so there’s no risk of accidentally getting cut. These dudes are pros.
I am way too excited about having a smooth table to eat off of… and now I am eyeballing all the surfaces in the house, wondering if I should just cover them ALL in glass and never have to worry about drinks leaving rings on surfaces again.
Super friendly awesome, will definitely go here in the future and recommend this place.

Trying to get a mirror top for a table I am refurbishing. I tried going to Atlas Glass due to their great google reviews but they weren’t there and when I emailed them I never heard back. So I continued my search and found Atlas Glass, and I’m glad I did! I sent them an email through their website and they responded back with a very reasonable quote. I ordered over the phone in the afternoon and picked up my mirror the next day! Simple but beautiful piece with great customer service. I’ll be going back here a lot!

They are very helpful and easy to work with. I have a craftsman working at my home in NE Portland. The window glass is old and broken. They worked with the craftsman to ensure that the glass was correct for the application.
When it was time for me to pay a single phone call per purchase made sure that my credit card information was not stored and at risk.
Great Job Alpine Glass. Our old windows look great thanks to the craftsman’s skill and your companies great inventory. I am so please that we were able to get our windows working well without having to replace each window in a house with a complete, new, window and frame assembly.

I have a steel coffee table that my grandfather welded himself — really more of an art piece than a practical table. I found it in my dad’s garage recently covered in rust and took it upon myself to restore it to its former glory.
Unfortunately, the glass top was misplaced and we had to get a new one. The problem is, since this table was bent into shape by hand, none of the edges were exactly the same.
We took it to Alpine Glass and they were great! They looked over the table and were able to make suggestions as to how thick the glass should be, what color, etc.
They ended up having to hand cut every side of the table (which is hard to do) and the glass top looks AMAZING. Bonus: they had it done in less than a week.
