I like this place. The people are friendly and legit. I do my research with tires, but probably appear naïve. The guy I talked to explain my options and actually suggested a price that was less, not more, than I had planned on spending. The moment I walk in, despite them being super busy, someone immediately came over to help me. This in comparison to some national tire chain I used to go to, where I would wait around for hours feeling frustrated. I always feel good about my purchase (and of course my tires) when I leave this place!

Five stars for the ridiculously good customer service and affordable prices. Not in my neighborhood at all but I’ll be going across town anytime I need service on my car.

Woke up this morning and my wife’s car had a TPMS light on. Found a very large screw in the tire. I called them and asked for an appointment time, they told me anytime I wanted. I drove up immediately, pulled in, and within 30 mins, I was back out the door. The best part? it was free! Now I look like a hero for getting this fixed so quickly.

Christmas Eve morning the daughter arrives home with totally shot tires. Affordable was quite a bit less than others we called and suggested that we only really needed to replace 2 of the tires.
Whole job in and out under 3 hours. Did I mention is was the day before Christmas. These guys (and Gals) rock !

Great to work with. More than fair on their price and labor… I would definitely recommend them to anyone who has vehicle troubles. .will be using them on all my car needs.

This garage is a virtual madhouse. Crowded to the max and good luck parking your rig in their jam packed parking lot… bring your own shoe horn. If you have a truck with a camper, you are screwed as far as getting any work done here. Not enough ceiling height to raise your rig and camper. Went there once and that was my last trip.

2ND visit. These guys and gals have been so helpful and friendly both times I came in. They effectively estimate the wait time and have exceeded the time both times. Thanks for the service you provide! Support local businesses!

My simplistic understanding of automobiles extends only so far as recognizing they have four tires, I press the gas to go, the other pedal allows me to break for birds in the road, and it’s not good to drive with the emergency break on. I am a living cliché.
Most auto places have no qualms taking full advantage of my naïveté. I’ll go in to get my squeaky tires checked and I’m told there is no way to drive out of the shop unless the magical leprechaun river dancing in my tailpipe is removed for $ 400. It was the complete opposite when I took my car into Affordable Tire & Brake.
In the words of Bob Barker, a poet and a scholar, «THE PRICE IS RIGHT!» This shop stays true to its name. I paid half of what I would have spent at other stores for the service I received. My experience was completely genuine and incredibly positive. I was in and out in under half an hour. Each employee I passed greeted me with a smile and hello. At this shop there are no shenanigans, nor price gouging– just straight forward honest, attentive customer service. The standard of care cannot be understated, and for that reason I will not hesitate to drive my rolling money pit to this shop for future issues.

We have our fleet of trucks for our office delivery company worked on here. The staff keeps in great contact with us all through the process of fixing our autos. The honesty and integrity shown by the crew is the best. So much that our employees bring their personal cars here. I highly recommend Affordable Tire & Brake for your auto care needs.

Went in with a flat tire, expecting to pay some money for a friend’s carelessness. Got a call an hour after dropping my car off and was told the repair was free! I’ll definitely be back, including when it’s time to shop for tires.

I brought my car in today because my tire had a leak. I didn’t have an appointment and they seemed to be very busy. They said it would be about 1 – 1.5 hrs. They called me 40 minutes later and told me it was ready. Went to pick it up and they didn’t even charge me! I will be definitely be a repeat customer. Mike might want to consider changing the name of his shop to Mike’s awesome place if you need anything repaired or maintained for your car. Seriously though Mike’s team has always helped me with anything I needed they are very knowledgeable and professional and have my best interest in mind every time I go in.

Did a great job and the price was reasonable. They were nice enough to wait for me after closing when I was running late to come gt my car.

Called to make an appointment and the woman seemed very flexible at first. She asked when would be a good time so I said anytime this week. She asked «how about tomorrow ?» And every drop off time she would tell me the pick up time would be 5 – 7 hours later. Uh that’s not an appointment. I let her know I expected to be waiting the whole time as it is my only form of transportation.
When I requested her to give me a time (ANY TIME) this week where is get the car back sooner she again told me «well you could bring it in first thing at 8am but you wouldn’t get it till 12 or 1.»
No thanks I’ll take my business somewhere that can make real appointments.
*Update* the owner has reached out to me since reading my review. He was very nice and explained what happened. Unfortunate that his secretary did not have proper customer service training.
Also, I took my car to another place and they were very communicative, helpful, and finished with my car in 3 hours.

These guys are great. They operate on what seems like an antiquated principle by today’s standards… that customer loyalty is worth earning and protecting. They sincerely have their customers’ best interests at heart and will go above and beyond to make sure they have earned your repeat business.
They fix exactly what needs to be fixed and at a fair price. They don’t price-​gouge. They’re not opportunistic. They don’t use ploys to try and scare you into unnecessary repairs. They are the real deal and they’ve certainly earned my recommendation and my continued business.

i don’t know a ton about cars mechanically so it’s always been hard to find a shop i can trust since they can sense my fear and almost empty wallet from miles away: P these guys are so friendly and open/​honest about what they see needs done and crazy helpful and fast.
i have literally rolled in with a flat at 5pm and they are MORE than happy to make sure you’re taken care of regardless of how busy they may be! i have had 5 tire holes or problems in the past 2 years and thank goodness i know where to go every time now!
i also took my last two trucks to them for all of my full service and tune up work no matter the make or model. the only reason they don’t get a five star is because they are human. with my first pickup they couldn’t figure out exactly what was wrong with it despite several attempts. in the end it was smarter for me to just get rid of the vehicle rather than poor money into it but i gave them another chance and they have always proved to not only try their hardest to fix anything they do it with a smile. sometimes they can be a little good ol’ boy abrasive but they get work done.

Fair prices and good work. They went out of their way to find me exactly what I needed, despite the tires being sold out across the Pacific NW. They tracked down tires for me from several different places.
The staff has been there a long time and they can be trusted with your vehicle.

I’m the type of person that researches the shit out of things before making any purchase over $ 100. When I first discovered this place nearly 15 years ago I was driving a 1972 Dodge camper van that always needed something. At the time they were only doing tires/​brakes and I needed extensive brake work. I called at least 5 shops and Affordable Tire/​Brake had the cheapest price. In fact, they beat the next cheapest price by at least $ 200 (I needed the works). Over the next couple of years I continued to compare prices for brakes and tires but they always came in as the cheapest, or damn close.
The ’72 camper has long since gone to the junkyard in the sky and Affordable Tire/​Brake has since transitioned to a full service auto repair facility which I now use exclusively. Not only are they the best (or damn near) on price but they do quality work which begins with how they diagnose your vehicle. It’s also worth noting that they are owner operated and chances are that the owner will be behind the counter when you come in.
On one occasion a couple years ago I came in with a vehicle I was prepared to spend $ 2,500 on. Scott called me a couple hours after dropping it off and explained that although he could do the work, he really didn’t think the vehicle was worth it. That kind of candid, no bullshit advice is worth its weight in gold. It’s just fortunate that it comes packaged with reasonable prices and top quality work.
PS Over the years I’ve recommended this place to many friends-​several of whom were women-​and I’ve got nothing but glowing feedback about their experiences. I found the first review written for this place (Trenna ’09) to be highly amusing. The fact that she is a complete imbecile is evidenced by every review since hers.
