Its possible I went in during a season change but this store was sparce at best.

Comfortable/​casual clothing selection. I tried on a few things but the fit wasn’t great. Plus the majority of the items were heavier fabrics, like they’re for Fall. Do fall items really come in as early as July 7?
Since it’s along Alberta St, I’d probably wander in again but didn’t find anything suited to my taste. I prefer items that are unique but classy, especially items that can go from day to night. If I’m gonna buy it, I either have to absolutely need it, or absolutely can’t live without it. Didn’t find either here.

The ladies at a+d really get it, ya know? They get what you want (and things you didn’t know you wanted,) what fits, and –just as importantly– HOW you shop. To me, that’s more valuable than armloads of crap from all the forever21s in the world.
They sell some truly amazing basics, and some jazzy stuff too, and their jewelry will stop you dead in your tracks!
The store is very well edited, everything in there was chosen carefully and with the utmost taste. I am a huge fan of how many eco and US-​made pieces they have, and how sweet and helpful everyone always is. It’s like shopping with your girlfriends– if your girlfriends weren’t secretly out to get you.
And right now, I am a huge fan of my snuggly new cardigan and local jewelry. Thanks ladies!

Just discovered this shop in the last month and I love it! It is a great addition to Alberta St. One of the owners (Daisy) was very kind and helpful in a genuine, sincere way. Clothes are perfect for my Portland style, meaning comfortable enough to wear all day, to most places.
