76 Gas Station

Quick and easy! Stopped here to refill my rental before returning to the airport — this was on the way. Great service, they pumped my gas for me!

I fill up here all the time. The service is quick. The guys are really nice. And since there’s a seven eleven store right here too you can grab a refreshing drink or something anytime. I highly recommend. Reasonable gas prices too.

Stopped mid-​day on last Sunday for propane refill. SIGN OUT FRONT CRUDELY LABELLED «Refills 2.99». Go inside and get a surly, sullen clerk and ask how much for propane? She says, «$ 3.49». And yeah, that’s price prominently posted next to the refill station at the tank. But wait, the sign on the sidewalk says «$ 2.99»…
I tell the clerk about the sign. Nope no joy — it’s 3.49. She says go outside to island attendant to get a refill. I ask the guy, «Can I buy some propane?». He says. «No, we are all out». OF COURSE he says that, because he is ALL ALONE on the pump islands. NO WAY he can help me with 4 cars refueling.
Moral of story — DON’T GO THERE FOR PROPANE REFILL.
Tip for management. Take the friggin’ $ 2.99 sign off the sidewalk. Also get enough people working the pumps so people can buy propane, or better still, TAKE OUT THE PROPANE TANK so customers don’t waste their time stopping for propane they can’t buy because nobody is available to pump it.

Beware, listed price is for cash. Credit is .10c more! The price sign layout is a little confusing.

What more do you really need when you stop for gas than clean fuel and a surprisingly clean 7 – 11? Not too much, I tell ya. Okay, maybe gas that’s $.10 cheaper than the nearby alternatives. That makes it legit.
