Zing For Hair

I got a grôupon for zing. Loved the hair colorist ebony and my hair cut. I would have gone back but when I was about to give my gratuity to ebony the girl sitting at the desk stated I should give a goo tip and base it on real price. I have never been spoken to like that they now lost a customer.

Amy was great but I guess it was to early in the morning some strands weren’t fully covered with dye or bleach which ever one it was, the rest of my hair that I could see came out decent. I Purchase on groupon full head of high lights with hair cut and blow out and hair treatment. I opt out for the hair cut b/​c I wanted my hair to grow but was told after that the hair cut and blow out is together so if I didn’t do one the other service wouldn’t be available but felt like it was cause they had another client waiting or perhaps I purchased my services through groupon, either way when I got home and straighten and all that is when I found some strands not fully dyed. I also had the hair treatment in for less then 5min but was told by the lady who washes hair that it’ll be 10 min so just felt rushed out towards the end

Zing is great. Offered advice with no strings. Bought products and was offered money back if I wasn’t happy with them. Staff professional and friendly. Got great color and cut. Deena really listens and wants you to be happy. Even recommended a salon to me for my Florida stay. I look forward to going back to Zing.

After doing a bit of research for a salon near me that did curly girl cuts (found out through the devacurl website) I figured I would try out Zing for Hair. It is a small shop on main street that I have definitely walked past about 300,000 times, but failed to notice. The salon itself is plain, unassuming, and definitely not pretentious, which I definitely liked. When I called to schedule the staff was friendly and got me an appointment ASAP as well.
The stylist/​haircutter was friendly, without being obnoxiously chatty, explained what she was doing and was very chill. In and out in HALF the time of other places where I have gone to with what may be my very first haircut where I said «Wow. I love this!». Maybe it was because it was my first curly cut, maybe it was because she listened to what I said, or styled it just so (looked the same when I did it myself for weeks after the cut), but either which way, I was super pleased.
I’d definitely come back to this place time and time again… decently priced cuts, friendly staff, and a killer hairstyle upon leaving!

I would have to disagree with Katie 100%! Zing for hair is a wonderful place to get your haircut! The Owner is so nice (EGO FREE) and the team is very professional and knowledgeable.
I was recommended to zing, after paying $ 60 for a haircut and $ 60 for a color, I WAS EXTREMELY impressed for the price which i thought was reasonable after the owner really took her time to consult with me and gave me the best cut and color i have ever had. She recommended products that would help me recreate my look at home. I did not feel «pressured» to purchase the 4 products she recommended, she said to me if you do not like them bring them back! WOW a salon owner that was not all about the money! She really cared! I would highly recommend this salon to anyone that enjoys a professional and knowledgeable salon
