History

Established in 2000.

Pilates in Port was established in 2000 by former professional ballet dancer, Tricia O’Donnell, and former modern dancer, Susan Brilliant. Pilates was such an integral part of the co-owners lives, they both decided to get classically certified by Romana Kryzanowska, Joseph Pilates protégé. Tricia O’Donnell was certified in 1997 and Susan Brilliant in 1998. They are among a handful of teachers that are 2nd generation teachers to Joseph Pilates on Long Island. Pilates in Port, with it’s unique setting overlooking Manhasset Bay and high quality instruction, attracts clients from all over Long Island.
