Fine ambience. Attentive staff. Disappointing meals all around. The fried kale pear salsa appetizer was oily and there was no salsa, per se, only 4 or 5 cubes of Asian pear. The arroz con pollo was simply a grilled cutlet drizzled w/chili sauce. It was just OK. We didn’t really see the promised«Japanese infusion». The salmon was cooked well done, as requested, and, for the diner, too heavily spiced even before adding either of the sauces that came on the side. The sushi was fresh and presented well, but that can be experienced at any number of local places. Add to all this that one sushi order was forgotten and arrived after a reminder when the meal was coming to a close leads to a generous, for the price of the check, 2 stars.

Scallops were very undercooked, arroz con pollo was a cutlet with jar sauce– overpriced for the area — for sushi stick with bonsai.

Wow! What an amazing dining experience. We all know how restaurants come and go in PW– I’ll be honest, I was a bit skeptical of just another Japanese Restaurant in town. Readers take notice… this is not just another Japanese Restaurant! Lina and chef Asa are amazing and welcoming. They clearly take such pride in their craft, and it comes across both in the service and the food. I would highly recommend!

One of the best meals I’ve had in quite some time. I am half Peruvian and have frequented Japanese restaurants in Peru proper. This restaurant not only does Peruvian-Japanese fusion cuisine total justice it passes my expectations by leaps and bounds for quality here in the United States. Both the Japanese and Peruvian dishes were fantastic and superb quality. The service was great too and very welcoming. The staff made me want to come back and had great suggestions to offer my American father who wasn’t familiar with a lot of the dishes. Even the dessert was great!
