We take pride in roasting our own beans. Our Roasted Coffee is Exceptional specialty coffee. Beans of the best flavor produced in special microclimates. It is produced by continually making quality the highest priority.

–The farmer grows the highest quality coffee possible in the perfect altitude, the perfect climate. The coffee is free of defect and picked at the peak of ripeness.

–The buyer is certified by the SCAA as a certified taster and cups each bean to scores and ensure the coffee is specialty grade coffee.

–Our roasting is an art that requires skill and knowledge to produce specialty level roast profiles. Our coffee is closely monitored during the roasting process to apply scientific principles of heat and coffee chemistry. Each bean is roasted to specifically ensure the highest standard of quality and produce the unique origin flavors of that specific bean roasted bean.

History

Established in 2015.

Many years ago when camping, we were taught to just add the grounds to the water — cowboy style. And after the water boiled, we added a piece of egg shell to help the grounds settle. It tasted good, but then we were kids and sleeping on the ground. Today, we use a computer controlled roasting machine to extract premium flavors out of specialty coffee beans grown around the world.

All our beans are «Specialty Coffee» meaning the beans are chosen for their flavors. Generally, by a particular country or region that has certain characteristic that make the flavor profiles special.

Brett G Griest and his wife Shannon are the owners of a small coffee roaster called BGG Roasting, LLC. Our Focus is on «Specialty Coffee» meaning the beans are chosen for their flavors. Generally, by a particular country or region that has certain characteristic that make the flavor profiles special. See our web site for more details. This small flea market coffee shop is our retail outlet that allows us to get direct customer feedback on our product. (When made into a drink) And sell our beans to customers without shipping. What sets this shop apart, is that we focus on quality and consistency.
