Culver’s is new to Port Orange so we decided to check it out. We had a chicken sandwich and burger with cheese bites. It was ok food nothing spectacular but not bad. The cheese bites were really good the other items are just average. I didn’t get to taste the extensive dessert menu, which was probably the best part.

This is the absolute best place for burgers in the central FL area. This chain was new to me, and I was always a «Wendys» person, well this place will open your eyes as to what a «fast-food» burger can be! I hate to call it fast-food, because that makes it seem«less than» other burgers at sit down places. This is not a second-rate burger. The meat quality, the cheese quality(ALWAYSASKFORTHECHEDDARORSWISSOVERTHEAMERICANCHEESE!) will make this your favorite place. The first time I went there, I thought«this burger doesn’t have enough salt». After I had a Wendy’s burger again, I realized that the Wendys burger tasted like nothing but salt — and had my tastebuds skewed! I haven’t been back to Wendy’s after that. This is better than 5 Guys, better than Daily Grind, and it goes without saying — any other fast food burger in the business. I literally get my burger(a double CHEDDAR burger) without any condiments on it because the meat and cheese are such high quality, I like the taste of it without anything getting in the way! I would never do that anywhere else.(The Mushroom Swiss burger also FABULOUS). Also, I must mention the Beef Pot Roast sandwich — it’s like REAL shredded slow roasted roast beef, not slices of compressed garbage like Arby’s. If you love roast beef, try this sandwich, you will be torn between this and the burgers. Onion rings and cheese curds are to die for. I usually pick one of them for my sides. The root beer, spectacular. And just when you think it can’t get any better, the Chicken Tenders are just as good and quality as the rest of their food(if you’re not in the mood for beef). Even if you have to go out of your way — do it! Your palate will thank you. Never been to Wisconsin, but now I understand the whole cheese on their head thing LOL. Best. Cheese. Ever. The price of this food for the fantastic quality is such a great value, I don’t know how they do it. QUALITYQUALITYQUALITY, such a surprise these days!

Passing thru and had to stop! Love Culver’s when visiting in the midwest so was very excited to see it in Florida while visiting. Friendly and outgoing staff. Very attentive. The menu has burgers, chicken, fish, etc. pretty normal fast food. But it’s made to order. Plus, they have custard! Yum Yum! Different flavors of the day. Sundays, Malts, Shakes with a large selection of toppings and flavors, If you’re in the area worth the stop!

I love Culver’s and was delighted to find this location less than 20 miles from our new home in Palm Coast. Our burgers were absolutely the best we’ve ever had in any restaurant anywhere. Great fries, root beer float and hot fudge sundae, too. The staff was remarkably friendly, fast and efficient. The restaurant was immaculately clean. We’ll be driving to Port Orange often to get more great food!

Was in Daytona today, how did I not know this Culver’s store was down here? This is the closest Culver’s location to home, and I would actually make the drive down here just for lunch. In fact, I had both lunch and dinner here today before scooting back up to Jacksonville. See the review under mine… the guy from Appleton WI? Well he’s an expert on butterburgers, I trust his opinion. All good things come from Wisconsin. I even drive to St Augustine to buy Wisconsin butter from Harry’s once a month, so I must be deranged. Now see the negative review below from a guy that says McDonald’s, Wendy’s and BK are all better than this place? LOL Not an expert, probably a bus boy at Red Robin. I fell in love with Culver’s years ago on trips to Madison, they just do it right, the food is delicious, and this is the second remote franchise I’ve visited and they are both as good as I remember. If you’re driving thru stop for a real treat and get a burger and cheese curds and save room for the custard. A Turtle is my favorite, it just doesn’t get any better. Very attentive and efficient employees at this location, and a very clean and well maintained store to boot.

Thank God I don’t live close to this place. For years traveling family members have tormented us with tales and photos of butter burgers. Now I finally get it. No wonder McDonald’s is losing market share; Culver’s raises the bar. Love the deluxe with fries and rootbeer, but even the salads are great. And the ice cream…

Milkshakes, Burgers, and Ice Cream, OHMY! Sooooo many choices at an affordable price. The buns are like pillows – oh so good. I got burgers and burgers and fried cheese, and French fries, and Ohhh… I think I’m gonna have a heart attack… Ungh…Okay it passed Okay-so It’s probably not the healthiest but for a special occasion it is worth a dive into the buttery abyss of Culvers. Go and judge for yourself.

Stopped by to order a concrete mixer… chocolate peanut butter cup mixer and they get my order wrong, but I was so anxious to get out of the drive thru line that I didn’t realize that they got, my order wrong, so I had to turn around and go back.

My family and I stopped here on a Sunday afternoon on our ride back from GA to Miami. It was right exit 256 and it was the only restaurant we haven’t tried/seen before. The burger I tried was just okay nothing to shout about, but I guess for the locals it may be a better option then the typical McDonald/Burger King.

I’ve been waiting for this location to open for MONTHS, maybe even a year! I was so excited when I heard Central Florida was getting 5 Culvers Locations in 2015 — and now one’s finally opened close enough to me(I still drove 40 minutes to get here). Was it worth it? You bet your buttered buns it was! I come from a family of Wisconsinites and we love nothing more than a dripping butterburger with a side of curds and a custard cup or malt. There have been various places in the Orlando area that have tried to do some of these things — A&W and The Moat(RIP) had curds, Steak & Shake has a butterburger, and BurgerFi, Ritters, and a few others had custard. But none had the trifecta, and none did it this well. Is it as good as Wisconsin? No, but then again, much of my enjoyment of the Culvers in WI is that I’m in Wisconsin at the time, so there’s that. If you’re not already a Culvers fan and want to know if you’ll like the place, here’s the rundown. Food is a mix of A&W fast food stores and Dairy Queen’s menu with a few nods to Long John Silver’s, KFC, and Arby’s thrown in. Everything is made fresh and with higher quality ingredients than your standard fast food chain. REALCHEESE on the burgers — sharp cheddar, too, none of this processed cheese food american cheese nonsense. Burgers are the star, but they have chicken, pulled pork, fish. Yes they have salads, but if you’re coming here for a salad there’s something wrong with you. The cheese curds are perfect, crispy outside with a nice textured breading(no soggy batter mush) and fried perfectly so the curds are just slightly melted but still have that«feel». The burgers are a bit thicker than your standard McD’s patty and nice and juicy. Might be all the extra butter but I don’t care if it’s meat juice or butter runoff, it’s pure delicious. By the way, if you haven’t already guessed, none of this will make the«healthy foods» list but honestly, if you care about calories, sugar, fat or any of that nonsense, just keep driving. Your kind is not for this realm. They’re packed for now, but it’s worth the wait. Service was pretty quick considering the crowd and the fact that they looked to have double the staff because half of them were in training. Keep an eye on their website because the custard flavor of the day changes all the time and they have a calendar to give you a heads up for when your favorite comes around. They have chocolate and vanilla full time and yes, it’s just as silky, rich, and creamy as good custard should be. I could keep waxing poetic on my love of this place, but I’m quite full after my meal and I feel a nap coming on. It soothes my soul that although I can’t afford to take a vacation back to my beloved Wisconsin right now, I can visit a little piece of it any time I want.

Being from Wisconsin I am familiar with Culvers and frequented my local Culvers in Wisconsin occasionally. We moved to Port Orange Last summer and I was pretty happy to see Culvers coming to Port Orange. This location is typical of my Culvers back home, it is always busy, but only because the service and food are top notch for a fast food restaurant. It has only been open for about a week and a half, however the traffic won’t die down. This place isn’t McDonald’s, the food is cooked to order and tastes great. Culvers Custard is made fresh throughout the day and can’t be beat. This owners have been present opening the door for customers 2 of the 3 times we have stopped here. If you like a great burger and great service then Culvers is worth a visit. If you want to be in and out in five minutes go to McDonalds, but if you want fresh food and great service Culvers in Port Orange is the place to go.

So happy there is finally a Culver’s in Daytona! Definitely going back! They are doing a wonderful job! The staff was friendly and attentive, the place was clean, and the custard was absolutely delicious! Split a fish and chips meal with my sister and it was the perfect amount of food! Can’t wait to go back again!

So we went to go check out the new joint in town… In typical Port Orange fashion it was jam packed… Drive thru line wrapped around building… I parked and ran in to order to go… Great looking building and addition to Port Orange row. The line inside was just as packed… They just opened on the 25th and Port Orange loves to support new business. I eventually made my way up front to order and met very pleasant staff that took my order and gave me a number plate to wait for them to bring me my to go order… 10 minutes later the sea of people cleared and I was left standing… The manager came over and asked what I was waiting for… I explained my order he apologized and said they would make me some fresh hot food. While waiting for it 2 separate employees came out with a bag and asked me if I had order X. Not mine… About 15 minutes after ordering I received my food. The manager and employee that brought food again apologized for delay and gave me free coupons for my next visit. They were very nice and appear to be going throw the training process new businesses face. New employees… Ton of curious customers… I was pleased they acknowledged me and impressed with the customer service provided when they realized I had been lost in the shuffle. We will be back to give them another shot. The food was good. Better burgers than steak and shake… First crinkle cut fries I’ve had in a long time and they were good. I look forward to the next stop in to see how things are going there.

Opened 3 days ago. Had the sliced prime rib sandwich combo. Meat was tender and tasty. Fries were perfectly cooked to a crunchy, golden brown. My daughter had the cheese curds, and said they were delicious. Frozen custard is creamy and flavorful. Best I have had in many years. Staff is friendly, courteous, well-trained, and eager-to-please. Met the owners, and can see that the staff reflects their friendly and positive customer service attitudes.

Great place. Good american burgers, fries, cheese curds and custard. Their root beer is awesome. Their own recipe and it is good. Lots of burgers to choose from, chicken dinners, salads. Something for everyone. Prices are reasonable.

This was my first trip to a Culvers! This location just opened three days ago and I couldn’t have been more excited to check it out! The service was amazing! Although I went through the drive — thru, the service was kind, friendly, peppy, and knew everything about the menu. The food is pretty good. I haven’t tried a burger, but I had my eyes on fried cheese curds, french fries, and a milkshake. The cheese curds were a mixture of yellow and white cheese and fried with a breading not a batter. The French fries is what brought the stars down a notch. They are crinkle cut which is good, and salty, also good… but had a weird fish taste-bad. Do they even serve fish? I don’t know. But it was so strong that I didn’t finish them. I probably ate four fries. The milkshake was also good but nothing spectacular. I had a vanilla milkshake with snickers mixed in. They have malts as well. Overall I thought it was good but it’s your typical fast food. Nothing so amazing that I can say I was Blown away. Except maybe the customer service.
