It’s a great looking place. Neon and modernized diner décor. The menu is large. I got the eggs Benedict, my barometer of breakfast. The eggs were over cooked which took away from the gooey goodness of Benedict. I ended up with a huge muffin, thin ham, minor amount of hollandaise and eggs that barely oozed. It was an unfortunate meal. The staff were helpful, the prices ok and the place was very clean. Other tables were full of what seemed like regulars so maybe I just had bad luck.

I like this diner. It’s open 24 hours, and the food is excellent. I like their milk shakes and their chicken fingers. The downside to this place is the staff. They seem a little slow in understanding your order, and they don’t have much issue getting a little angry with the customer in case they’re asked to go slightly beyond what they think their job function is. Very«basic» people. Aside from that, pretty decent food for the price.

Just had lunch there. Great service. Ask for«Rudolfo”-awesome server. Very helpful in explaining the items that we ordered and how it was made.

The worst diner I’ve ever been to. Not only is the food not edible but the management is also very rude. My wife fell over a planter placed in the middle of the walkway outside the entrance while holding our 1 year old. My wife visible shaken walked in to inform them of the incident. Not only was no one concerned but the manager(the same old man that has been there for decades) was very rude to her. Upon asking the workers, the planter was moved because of another hazard outside the door. Emailed the owner without any response. In addition the food is disgusting. If you like runny eggs or stale french fries, this is the place for you.

Had breakfast here one morning. Ordered an Omelette with spinach, mushrooms, onions and cheese. No such omelet exists in the listing on the menu. When I asked my server if I could«customize» an omelette — he apparently did not understand what I was asking — he asked me what that meant. Once we got past that, I also ordered a side of corned beef hash. I read from other reviewers how their corned beef hash was soft and watery. I requested mine have a crispy finish to it. Plus a cup of coffee. About 5 minutes later my order came out. The corned beef hash was beyond crispy. I am unsure how they could have accomplished this in the 5 minutes or so from the time I placed my order. The only conclusion I can come to is that they had some hash on the flattop that had been sitting a while and they decided to serve it to me. The hash was to crispy, to overdone. But I decided to eat it as it might have been better than soft, water corned beef hash mush.(See the attached pix). The omelette was rather bland. I added a lot of black pepper and Tabasco sauce to give it some flavor. The coffee was good. Service was attentive.

I eat here at least 2 times a week. The prices, food, and waiters are all good. The old man that seats you could be a little nicer and some of the waitresses need to lay off the perfume. Other than that it’s a good place to eat.

TERRIBLE !!! I placed a take out order for a «jumbo» bagel toasted with cream cheese and a soup … bagel was nooooo where near jumbo ATALL& there was hardly any cream cheese on it(not exaggerating either) I asked nicely for more cream cheese & showed the old GRUMPY man(guessing the owner) and he tells me for a $ 1 more you can have cream cheese… Is he SERIOUS?! I already paid to have cream cheese on it and there was none! TOTALLYOVERPRICED& Nasty attitudes! … WILLNEVERRRRRRGOBACK!

An alright diner! Ok food and ok service. Not too bad just your average diner. Service was fast but we also went late at a time when there weren’t many ppl there. We were in the area and decided to stop by for a quick bite. Will not be coming back unless we are in the area again.

Port Chester Coach Diner has your typical diner menu. The food isn’t bad, and the service is fast. The waiters were pretty friendly, and kept my coffee cup full! The coffee was delicious. Probably the highlight of my meal. I love a good cuppa joe!

It’s a diner! Food is good– but it’s a diner folks. theres no organic grass fed impressive eats… it’s the kind of place you go for late nights, quick stops and if you wanna customize your meal. Waiters are pretty good. Most of them care and work hard. They are great with there customer service skills. Pretty professional. Had great service and an amazing Greek salad with grilled chicken– even hAd stuffed grape leaves and kalamatas! Huge.

Nothing but rude service the past two times I’ve visited but I am in shock after last nights visit here. We were seated at the bar/island. we patiently sat down for 15 minutes and were never offered water like a diner always brings to you. The place was empty two waitresses/hostess kept walking in front of us. My friend ordered a red bull and got looked at with wide eyes as if she didn’t understand English and she walked away 10 minutes passed and no red bull, no attention. I then call the waitress and tell her we’ve been waiting for a redbull for so long and again the same face was given to us and she stood there then walked away. I work in the service industry as a waitress and understand certain circumstances that the restaurant staff can be able to deny giving service to indecency behavior and have never been rejected anywhere in my life or none of my friends for patiently waiting. FOR the first time in 10 years I preferred going to Mcdonalds so bad. FIXYOURSTAFFTHERENOBETTERTHANANYONEELSE.

Honestly, the worst diner experience I have ever had here. Food is basic diner food, but the service is atrocious. Our waiter put his thumb in my home fries and only came to take the order and get the check. Bonus– he was drinking wine while talking to the cashier, manager and hostess, who were equally oblivious to the fact they were at a place of business. I’ll never be back to this place.

I should start off by saying that I’m a huge fan of greasy diner food and I don’t often write bad reviews but I did not enjoy my experience here. I got corned beef hash and eggs and the hash was watery and undercooked. My waiter saw that I wasn’t eating it and offered to bring me another plate so I said sure, and the new plate looked exactly the same as the last. I took half a bite and it noticed that it was off. My boyfriend got bacon and eggs, he said the bacon tasted like it had ben sitting but the eggs were good. We also got pancakes to split. They were okay, but I’ve had better. So bottom line, the service was excellent, but I do not recommend the food.

This diner is pretty bad, but remember folks, it’s a diner! If you are like me and love omelettes moist, tell them soft or else they’ll likely be overdone and dry. Today I ordered chicken quesadillas bc I had a hangover and needed some grease. The dish was surprisingly good minus the jarred salsa. Most other things are not so good. Salads are ok, burgers are not great but better than fast food, fish dishes awful, wraps a better choice. I think the staff here are very nice and agree with another reviewer that complaining about the ethnicity or language abilities of the staff are very unfair and racist frankly. These are wonderful hard-working guys! In the end, if you need someplace fast with choices, it will do. The coffee is quite good so if you want to be happy here I’d say get a cup of coffee and a yummy buttered corn muffin. They can’t screw that up!

We visited this diner when we were pretty hungry from being on the road a while. The highway was plugged up so we figured it was lunchtime. Aside from the décor being stuck in the mid 70s, disco era, it is what you might expect; over-extensive menu(how can they keep all of this food fresh?), oddly dressed waitstaff, full bar. We were seated immediately and given our menus. Our server was there quickly and was friendly. He took my wife’s order: the Cuban sandwich. Our server stopped her and informed her that it was not a «real» Cuban. As I had just told her, he said a real Cuban is not ham, turkey and swiss as was touted on the menu. He said they were having problems with it being called a Cuban, which makes sense. So, she ordered a bacon burger instead. I ordered the Reuben. When the food came, quickly, I was mildly disappointed that my sandwich was open-faced, but no biggie. I was more bothered by the fact that there was so much kraut and melted cheese, the corned beef seemed like an afterthought. It was good, but could have been better. Coleslaw side was really wet but the pickle and fries were good. My wife’s burger got no complaints; cooked perfect and crisp bacon. One thing I found rather odd was nearly $ 3.00 for a beverage with ONE refill. For that price I could get 4 liters of soda! But, overall, portions were huge. We were actually commenting on how much work it must have been to keep all of the chrome and mirrors clean in the place and how clean the restrooms were. I have always maintained that a kitchen’s cleanliness can be gauged by the cleanliness of the rest rooms(that’s the part you CAN see). Our server was very competent and friendly and were happy he clarified the«Cuban» situation before it was ordered rather that try to explain it after. Although it probably was not his native tongue, he spoke English just fine and he spoke it with the other staff in the restaurant. I don’t know why some reviewers out here have such a problem with language and/or nationality. Anyway, the Port Chester Coach is O.K. in my book. I wouldn’t drive 150 miles from home just to come here, but it’s not bad.

It’s hard to find a good breakfast spot in White Plains so this is usually my go to place for breakfast. The food is okay, not great, but okay. They have some breakfast specials but they can be a little odd sometimes. One of the Today’s Specials was an onion omelette? I guess the kitchen over ordered onions. I had lox and scrambled eggs which was good. The service is always friendly.

I used to eat here a lot in its early days, and it used to be a very good diner. They had, as most of these diners do, an extensive menu. They also had some really good early bird specials. Service used to be solid, and we almost always had the same waitress. I was twice recently after not having been in many years. Both times, I was really disappointed. The place has gone way down hill, and I will never go back. They keep the place FREEZING cold. I just wanted to order a traditional Club Sandwich… should be one of the most popular items on the menu of any Greek Diner. NOTONTHEIRMENU! They have«triple-decker sandwiches,» but you can only get one meat on them, e.g. turkey. They will not give you turkey, ham and roast beef. Really? Service sucks, food is just passable, and you have to eat in the cold. ¡Adiós!

My second visit and this place has redeemed themselves a bit. Well as much as a dinner possibly could, so I now change my rating from two stars to four stars and much of it has to do with service. This time we came in late night(more like early morning) when it was not quite as packed and we has a much better waitress assigned to our table. She was fantastic and knew what we wanted before we even asked. Since the chicken and waffles looked good last time(from someone else’s meal) I decided to go for that this time. For the previous order which I took to go for my son on my last visit they only gave two pieces of chicken. This time when I ordered to stay I received four pieces which in reality was more like a half fried chicken and waffles. The chicken was super crispy as I like it. The Belgian waffle was cooked to perfection. I also had eggs over medium and crispy bacon. All my special requests were complied to with much satisfaction. The waitress came by twice to check on us and refilled my drink. My friend ordered bacon and eggs and was happy with her meal and her husband had a burger deluxe with fries which he scarfed down with no complaints. This just goes to show how much your overall experience can be affected by a positive attitude from the staff. The fact that it wasn’t quite as packed likely also had much to do with it. Based on my visits here and knowing now that they are open 24 hours I will likely pass and go elsewhere when they are super busy but would definitely return for a late night craving. I found the«Greek Warp» on the menu amusing so I photographed the typo lol.

Decent place to get breakfast. Nice and friendly staff. We were there around 8 am on a Saturday morning and only a handful of tables were occupied. Quick service– no complaints.

Service was prompt, Eggs Florentine were not stingy, lots of spinach under the poached eggs and flavor was great all around. Whole wheat bread was substituted, so I felt good eating this brunch too. Coffee was also nice and strong. Typical diner look, but a little extra special attention to the food going on in the kitchen. Four stars compared to the average 3 mos places like this would get.
