Came at lunch. First thing is not to judge appearance of interior by exterior. Interior was nice. Not quiet as shown on Unilocal because very busy. Everything else is average. I had the Reuben and wife had stuffed tomato. Reuben was okay. I am not sure it had dressing. Wife said chicken salad stuffed in tomato was bland but greens were fresh. Menu said fruit to accompany tomato but wife received cottage cheese. Iced Tea did not taste fresh brewed because it was very weak. Service very slow.

Stopped in for lunch. It lives up to its name. This is one of those places that is the exact opposite of a chain restaurant. The staff was genuinely welcoming and friendly. This is a breakfast and lunch spot and worth going off the main drag for lunch, probably breakfast too. We hasp do the Rubin grill and the small Philly Cheese steak sandwich. Both were very reasonably priced and stuffed(see photos). The steak sandwich was tender and very flavorful. The Rubin was excellent also, but had a few tough spots, but this was a minor defect easily overlooked by the portion. The rye bread was excellent and often neglected on Rubins in other places. The onion rings were a little disappointing. They are obviously just standard frozen product. However my impression is that most things are made fresh to order. We will be back, for sure. Their burgers look like they would be worth a try and the breakfast items look tempting also.

This is a quaint diner like atmosphere. The food was pretty good. The hash browns a tad overdone and the coffee way too weak. The staff was friendly, attentive, and on the ball. I had breakfast and the hub’s had a burger. His burger, not quite as ordered but not dry. My eggs and bacon were good and the sourdough was yummy. I wish the coffee was better but overall it was a great deal for under $ 20!

Enjoyed a visit today for lunch. Outstanding service, and the best Reuben ever. Fresh bread, phenomenal corned beef they make on-site, hot crisp fries. Hard to find a better lunch.

Not only is the food great, the service is even better. Rachel, not one of the owners, has her customers ‘locked in.’ She not only knows what you like to drink after ur 1st visit, but remembers how you like it. Same goes for the food. She has a hand in preparing the specials each day. Go on Tuesday! It’s stuffed meatloaf day. Unbelievable! The owners, Pam & Todd, work the kitchen. They too know their customers well. If they know who the order is for, they prepare it to the exact specifications requested. And, remember it after the first time. Did I mention the home made soups? Today was Stuffed Pepper soup. Just like having a stuffed pepper in liquid form. Place is kept immaculate, prices right on point.

This place was spectacular. What a find! We had to drive from South Florida to New Orleans and discovering a spot like this helped make the trip wonderful. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The cooks were super nice. But most importantly, the food was outstanding. everything was made there too. Homemade bread, biscuits, corn beef hash… And it was all delicious. This is definitely several steps above a greasy spoon diner. Take away the grease, add a very clean spoon, and you’ve got this wonderful little gem in southern Florida. Honestly, I cannot express enough how fantastic our meal was, and a big part of that beyond the food was how friendly everyone who worked there was. if you ever make this trip, this is the place to drop in for a very satisfying meal, grab a togo sandwich, or just have a tasty beverage. Wonderful place, wonderful people.

Furious. This is my favorite breakfast place around. I exclusively frequent this place when I am in town. I show up today at 8(should open at 7) and the door is locked. Now I have a 14 month with me who is starving. Woman inside see us and doesn’t even pop her head out to say oh sorry we are late today give us 5 min or whatever the case might have been. So we pack out baby back in the car and start leaving. Now they open the door for someone else. Unfortunately I now have to boycott this place and make sure I spread the word to my condo association to join. This was completely unacceptable and avoidable to me. Now I have to eat at Bob Evans and my vacation is now ruined for lack of a decent breakfast.

This is a great locally owned spot if you are sick of all the chains. The food is fresh, made to order, and delicious. We ordered the Reuben and fries and the buffalo chicken wrap, which they happily changed to grilled chix for me. Very friendly & courteous service.

I was in Sarasota for work and bored to death with eating Subway. I wanted a REAL sandwich. Cozie’s offered just what I needed, a philly chicken sandwich. My niece ordered the meatball sub, but they were unfortunately out of their HOMEMADE meatballs. The fries are fresh, not frozen, just like the meatballs the owner started making once he heard they were out. I would frequent Cozie’s often if I lived closer. Can’t wait to go back for a big«cheat» meal and have the meatball sub and homemade fries!

What a Cozie place, food is absolutely great and the owners make you feel part of the family. Frankly, they should charge more. Once you try the place, you immediately feel that you must come back !!! And we did and we did. Michael & France from North Heto Vt.

The people who own and run the café have done their homework. The food is top notch and made from scratch, everything is made to order. The breakfast dishes are highly popular and full of flavor. They offer free WI-fi and cozy sitting areas to drink your coffee and surf the web.
