Elegant Nails

I made a 30 minute drive to this nail salon after reading the reviews on here. I won’t be going back. I wanted a relaxing mani/​pedi. Simple enough. When I walked in, it was totally quiet. No one laughing, talking or conversing at all. There were women sitting in the pedi chairs and all of them kept looking at me like I had three heads. The technician who took care of me couldn’t understand what I wanted, a simple shellac manicure and upgrade pedi. I wound up just getting a regular manicure that lasted ten minutes tops. I honestly could of done better. She seemed bored and uninterested in making my nails look nice, not that they were in bad shape to begin with. Cold water soak in plain water, no hand massage, and my cuticles still look rough and nails uneven after she was done. My neck and back actually begin to hurt from the ladies staring at me and the unusual silence in the salon. It was sheer torture. I don’t like loud chatter but music or polite chit chat makes for a warmer, welcoming atmosphere.
I am sadly dissapointed as I am on my feet 12 hour shifts as a nurse, hardly get a day off and was so looking forward to treating myself to a glass of wine, a nice leg and hand massage with some cute tips and toes. I actually went to Walgreens and bought the stuff to go home and do it myself… bleh. Maybe it was the day or maybe it’s because i just moved here, but either way… it was day wasted and money down the drain.

This nail salon was clean and the staff was very friendly.
Ellen was great! She did an incredible job on my nails.
I had a gel manicure and regular ($ 48) pedicure. I highly recommend this nail salon if you are in Port Charlotte Florida.

They were totally awesome and opened special for our wedding party and got us all done at the same time and really went out of their way to make it special and wonderful. The special art work we wanted was so good and done free hand! They did not charge us extra for opening on their day off can cannot thank you them enough!

I would recommend this nail salon. Nice place and very clean. I will be back for another great pedicure.

Whenever I visit Port Charlotte, I take my mother to Elegant Nails. The salon is clean, and the staff is excellent! They take excellent care of my 87 year old mother, and my pedicure is gorgeous!

I came here looking to relax from a busy work week. I found this place to be very friendly. The facilities are clean and the prices are fair. The staff was thorough when painting my nails as well.

Elegant Nails is the best place!!! I’ve been there numerous times because I receive tip top manicures! The place is clean and bright, the people who work at Elegant Nails take their time and do an excellent job. Very professional! Very calm atmosphere… My very favorite salon!!!

First time at Elegant Nails was a plus! Clean salon, very thorough staff and quite friendly with reasonable prices! Only here on vacation but I would absolutely recommend to a local!

Sitting here enjoying a wonderful pedicure after trying multiple places in Port Charlotte and North Port that just didn’t make the grade. Family owned and delightful technicians. Very clean. I will definitely return.

My family and I have been going to Elegant Nails since they opened about 4 years ago. They are SO kind and patient with my Mother-​in-​law who has Alzheimer’s. All four of people who work there do WONDERFUL pedicures. My daughter feels that no one can do as good a job on nail tips as she gets done here. When I referred a co-​worker here who made an appointment (can’t go yet due to an injury) she came back to me and commented about how CLEAN it was. I have nothing but good things to say about Elegant Nails and all who work there!

This place is so clean and the people are great. I love looking forward to my manicure and pedicure. The SNS nails are much better than the acrylic nails, they look nicer and last longer. The only downfall is the fills are twice as much as the acrylic.
