New York Butcher Shoppe

Awesome couple owns the shop, dealing in the finest meats in the area. They welcomed me in, walked me thri the selections, and packed my meat in ice to keep it fresh. Will be back.

I’ve done a bunch of different cuts of meat from here and I have been extremely pleased with everything. The quality of the meat is impressive!

Now I have been here a few times but this time they had a ton of good stuff. Their meat looks pretty darn good. A little on the pricey side but you get what you pay for. The quality of their meat is way about anything you can get in most stores. They make their own sausages in house which always perks up my ears. Then I looked into the fresh case and I saw way in the dark out by every yummy. Not really right in front are things like the largest veal shanks I have ever seen and then right next to them are the veal sweet breads, the duck breast, and Swedish sausage. Yes Swedish sausage. I just made some and thought I would never see any again. But I did I did see some Swedish sausage. So one of these days here soon after a pay check. I’ll stop in after work and pick me up some tender vittles and see what I can create.

My wife bought steaks here last night and they were fantastic. She said the service and selection were excellent.
Glad to have a real butcher shop at the beach! It is a good sign for food lovers and cooks.

This is an authentic butcher shop plus… It’s got great premade foods that you can take and bake or take and warm. The meats are priced higher than Tillmans but it is Ponte Vedra. The good thing is its the only place in town you can find a packets cut brisket for $ 3.99 a pound. Not too bad.
The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. We will frequent!

Woohoo! As good as it gets! Have any of you every grown up where your family bought special cuts of meat, chicken, veal, et al, at Gourmet butcher shops, for those Special memorable meals. Well this is it. They have everything you could possible need, prime meats, chicken, seafood, veal, preprepared special meals, gourmet sides, wine, cheese, appetizers, etc! Here is the secret to a happy life; they have specials for complete gourmet meals every Wednesdays and Sundays. The food is comparable to any fine restaurant, minus the tip and it’s affordable. Lady’s, stop cooking on Sundays and let the butcher shoppe do the cooking!!!

I accidentally stumbled into the New York Butcher Shoppe after a late brunch at the next door Beach Diner… and I am glad that I did! I love this place! And you will too provided you are not a vegetarian! :)
The New York Butcher Shoppe offers beautifully cut PRIME steaks (only 3% of all beef is prime), as well as all certified Angus Choice (still very very good)!.
They also offer a nice selection of 28 day old dried prime beef… the same steaks you can get in the best steak houses.
There is also a nice wine selection at the New York Butcher Shoppe. As well as home made pastas, seafood, and they also have a very nice Boars Head deli meat section.
The place is SPOTLESS!!! And all the staff is super knowledgeable on the products, and do not mind answering questions.
Here is the best part… the prices are super reasonable for the level of quality and service you get!!! Trust me on this.
On my visit I purchased a 3 pound wet aged Certified Angus Tri-​Tip steak, and we also purchased these amazing chicken cordon bleu rolls! OMG! Incredible!
I can’t wait to get back over towards Ponte Vedra Beach to try out the New York Butcher Shoppe again!

Wonderful selections of meats. Got some great pork chops, which tasted great.
This store also offers prepared meals and takeouts, along with huge sandwiches.
They also have the perfect wines, although not a vast selection, but just the right ones to pair with the meat and meal you are preparing.
Stop in and meet these folks… they know what they are doing and they are going to give the local meat purveyors a run for their money.

This is a recent addition to the Ponte Vedra area (I think it opened in 2011 around May?), anyway, I wandered in sometime last year to find a nice cut of tenderloin and all I can say is this is the absolutely BEST meat I’ve ever had. Super moist, fantastic flavor and the people who work there are absolutely invested in making sure your experience is the best it can be. It’s a family run business owned and operated by a married couple (Bob and Stacie) and they made sure I had everything I needed to cook the meat perfectly and offered a bunch of different wine options from their pretty large wine selection. Ever since that first day I’ve been back a number of times and have tried their pork chops, prime ribeyes and steaks, and ordered my first-​ever FRESH Turkey for Thanksgiving (by far the most juicy and flavorful turkey ever — my family raved about it!).
Anyway, if you’re looking for a great butcher who will go above and beyond to get you what you need and ensure you have the best dinner possible, make your way into the New York Butcher Shoppe in Ponte Vedra. I would give this little shop all the raving reviews I possibly could and certainly hope more people continue to wander in there!
