Horrible customer service. I had a scheduled worker that came unprepared and did nothing but wasting my time. He said he had to call the office and request an additional appt for a master plumber, then he makes the apt in front of me for next day (today) I called the office as no one is showing up and an employee told me that is scheduled for tomorrow instead of today! In the meantime I have water coming from my kitchen sink!!! I ask for a supervisor and someone name Sefina gives me the same story and since I am not able to be home tomorrow afternoon and they cannot come today as scheduled, they offered Friday instead. Totally unacceptable, unprofessional and lack of consideration on people’s schedules!

Bad experience. A friend recommended this company so I let my guard down. Should have checked their reviews on the internet before calling them. My AC unit had stopped cooling so I called these people. They said they would be out the next morning but did not show until the next afternoon. Aggravating! The service person determined I needed a part that he did not have on the truck so he said he would be back out the next day to install it. Next day came but the service person didn’t! I called the office, they gave me an excuse and said the man would be out the following morning. Once again he didn’t show until that afternoon. When the service person did arrive he offered a half ass excuse why he was late again but it wasn’t believable. I was really angry for all the aggravation these people had caused and I just wanted him to install the part and get off my property. I had wasted so much time with this company.

To their credit they did get my AC running again. But if you respect your blood pressure, call someone else.

After having problems with my relatively new AC – and several service calls later – I was waiting for a part and couldn’t get the person in charge of ordering that part to call me back to let me know what was going on.
I went on Unilocal to lodge a complaint and saw that a man named Howard responded to other people’s complaints. So I decided to email him at 11:30 at night — and to my shock got an answer from him 10 minutes later!!!
WOW!!! He wrote that he’d look into locating the part and would contact me the following morning – AND HE DID!!! The part was located and he offered to have his servicemen come to install it that same day! NOW THAT’S SERVICE!

Customer service is a joke. I’ve been trying to get a plumber to come fix my garbage disposal and they called and cancelled on a Friday after I had already set aside 4 hours of my day. I rescheduled for Monday then called to confirm and got a rude woman who said «he will be there between 10 and 2» when I asked if she had any idea when she said abruptly «between 10 and 2» and then said he wouldn’t call ahead and that I should wait in the unit.
Well after that phone convo I sent a disappointment email to some guy who responds to Unilocal reviews and quickly got a call from the dispatch manager saying that the plumber was up the road and that I was the next stop and how sorry he was that they cancelled on Friday. Plumber showed up about an hour later and fixed the disposal rather quickly.
Honestly, after the cancel and then the rude customer service call I can’t recommend this place too highly but I do like how the responded quickly to my complaint.

thinking I was going to finally be with a company that will give me service within a reasonable time, I signed up with Pride on Sept 2^th of 2014. sometime in mid Sept my air conditioner would not work so I called hoping to get service in a day or two the most.(here in sunny Florida no air means no living here). My call to customer service was on hold for twenty minutes or so but when somebody answered I was almost happy. Then a women of nasty attitude told me I would have to wait until next Thursday for service at 2 pm. I called on Monday the week before. I cancelled and called another company who came 8 am the next morning and fixed my problem and told me how to prevent this from happening again. In Dec. my toilet wouldn’t flush, so I called them again (silly me) and was told I would have to wait for service for 8 or 9 days! HAHA!
I called another guy who came to the house the same day and and fixed it for $ 20 dollars. I was tired of this so I called them in Jan of 2015 to cancel and was told «since I had no service calls I would get back 90 percent of the $ 328.60 I paid and I have to write a letter telling them I want to cancel. So on Jan.6^th I wrote it and faxed it to them as per instructions and mailed them the hard copy. I called them on Jan. 20^th and was told they will cut the check on Feb. 15^th. In the meantime somebody else called and asked me if I would reconsider to which I replied a big «NO» and then he said i would have the refund. On Sat. the 28^th I received a check for 193.65 That $ 102 short. There explanation was so ludicrous that if it wasn’t my money they stole it would almost be funny.
My advise to anybody thinking of going with this company is take the money and go to a casino here in Florida because you will have a better chance to get something for your money. If you go with them «YOU DESERVE WHAT YOU GET!!!»

I have had Pride on my second home Florida for the past 3 years. I am happy that I have not had not had to use them in the first 2 but I am really glad I have their service.
My a/​c was blocked up from l=mold growing in the line and it started to leak into the house. I called Pride and was told someone would be out in 3 hours. HOT HOT HOT.
3 hours later they did come. They saved me from dropping dead.

These people are liars. We had an appt for today bet 10 & 2 for a jammed garbage disposal. At 1:50 I called Pride and the agent said we weren’t on the schedule. I gave her some of my very heated NY attitude and she puts me on hold to check. She’s comes back after 5 minutes saying we were on for the 2 to 6 schedule. Again, I blew my stack. I’m put on hold and after another 5 minutes she tells me the guy is running late and will be there shortly. No apology or anything. Luckily, the guy came in 15 minutes and apologized for the mix up (their’s, not his) and fixed the problem.
Next time I get the agents’ name the first time.

As a Florida resident and a customer of Pride’s for several years, I called a few minutes ago to report a frozen-​up air conditioner unit. It is Monday about 3:00 PM. They said their next available appointment is Wednesday between 10:00 and 2:00. They said they are busy. I said they are understaffed. It’s only the beginning of June. What are they going to do when it gets really hot later this summer?

I recently had this company out to clean the A-​Coil in the AC unit on my second floor. This involves removing the coil, taking it outside and cleaning. When they reinstalled the unit, they forgot to reattach the drainage pipe. The next morning we came down stairs to find water dripping on our furniture through the ceiling right under the AC unit. We called the company and they said to turn off the AC unit until they could come by. It took 2 days for them to send someone out to fix the problem. We had to go for 2 days without AC during some pretty hot weather. The glued the drainage pipe back in place (which they removed in the first place) and the problems was fixed. They also REFUSED to fix the water damage to our ceiling saying it wasn’t their fault or responsibility. Andy Richard, Pride’s AC Supervisor had the nerve to say: «we have no liability for the improperly installed connection». Pride Air Conditioning and Appliance couldn’t care less about you as a customer once they collect your money. Do yourself a favor and call ANYONE else for your AC needs. Warn your friends and neighbors too. Calling themselves «Pride» AC is laughable.

Stay far away from this Company! They do not stand behind their claims and their Customer Service is a joke! My 87 year old Mom had a service call put in to change out two outlets, and was told they would arrive the next day between 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm. She waited patiently and I arrived at 5:30 pm, to make sure she was attended to. The result was a «NO SHOW!» Despite the fact, I called and followed up they would be coming, and their response was «It is not 6:00 pm yet and we will be there.» After 6:00 pm, I called their office and they were closed, and their answering service promised to have someone call me back, within minutes. No one called back! Stay far away from these people, as they should not be in business, period!

This company has NO regard for their customers — seniors especially. They kept an 88 year old woman waiting all day — after 4 calls into their company to make sure they are coming for her service call and never showed up nor called to say they would not be there.
They will say anything and lie — In fact that is the requirement to work there — but there’s just so many people you can fool.
They are the WORST company and my advice is to stay away from them — their promises mean NOTHING —
You are better off call a service when you need it — and not this company who sends over «busboys» not waiters if you know what I mean.

We currently have SIX contracts with Pride and have had them for over 20 years however, there is no doubt we have seen them «going down» for the past year. They now don’t schedule accordingly, they down right lie about when and who schedules and there seems to be no «pride» left in the office personnel… awful and unprofessional angry people working on the inside. We will be utilizing the services of another service appliance company starting today.

The people at pride do not seem to know how what is on their contracts or statement of work. My mother had to call them in October of 2012. They found the issue and we paid quite a handy sum to do the repairs. Within 6 months the AC had the same issue again. We looked at the work order and it says their work is guaranteed for a year unless otherwise stated. It was not otherwise stated hence their work is guaranteed for a year — right. Nope, we called and was told nope only 30 days unless you have a service contract with us. I wish we had read the reviews on Unilocal and other sites before calling these guys.

We are happy we used this company they showed up on time and fixed our A/​C fast and at a good price. we will use them again in the future because they were professional and because our air is now nice and cold and we are happy with the work performed.

This company is the very worst in the business. They have horrible customer service, they lie, they don’t know their own policies, they don’t care about their clients. For a service business, they will give you the «business» without the service. If you value your property and your money, stay far away from this company.
