The Phillips Ranch Healthbar is a fresh spin on a traditional pharmacy concept. The days of the old soda fountain in the pharmacy have now been replaced by a wellness focused juice and smoothie bar that also serves gourmet salads and wraps. Ask the pharmacist what supplements and boosts will work best for you!

History

Established in 2005.

Scott and Joanne opened the original Phillips Ranch Pharmacy and Hallmark store in Pomona in August of 2005 just after their son Christopher was born. That pharmacy expanded to include services to long term care patients. In 2014, we opened this second store for all of our retail customers and transferred the hallmark division. At that time, we were able to expand our health and wellness focus by opening the healthbar in the pharmacy. The original location is only open for residents of long term care facilities now that the new location services all of our retail patients. We are excited to offer our patients healthy juices, smoothies, salads and wraps and look forward to expanding our menu in the future. We love our fresh spin concept on the traditional pharmacy soda fountain concept and we hope you do too for many years to come!

Scott and his wife Joanne are both pharmacist graduates from the USC School of Pharmacy. The Pharmacy is integrated into the community and the expanded healthbar fits in nicely. Our focus is on high quality, customer oriented service. Stop by and say hi next time you are in!

First time here and I’m def. a fan! I got the hulk bowl with blended spinach, hemp protein, hemp seeds, banana, strawberries, blueberries, agave nectar, & without the granola. It looked yucky, but was super delicious with just a touch of sweetness! Soooo yummy! Best breakfast in a long time. The vegan cookies are perf as well! I can’t wait to come back!

Food is amazing and healthy too. I had the Mediterranean panini. Best ever!!! They even made a special smoothie for my daughter w. Crohns.

Today I finally stopped by Phillips Ranch Health Bar on my lunch break. I scoped this place out when visiting Starbucks one day and wanted to make an effort to come by. I work at Cal Poly Pomona and with all the fast food around in the area I am always looking for some healthier options. Today I just picked up a bowl. I ordered the Dragon Bowl which was refreshing, fresh, and a good size for the price. It was $ 6.95 which I feel is average or a little below average for typical power bowls of the same price. I can’t wait to come and try some of their other bowls as well as their smoothies or paninis. I will definitely be back!

I’m a student at Cal Poly and I love how close this health bar is to me. The menu is quite large, they offer juices, salads, wraps, paninis, and acai bowls. I’ve been here a handful of times and the wraps are pretty good and definitely worth the money. They come in a spinach wrap and it’s filled with a salad mixture. The acai bowls are pretty good as well. I’ve had the Hulk and the original. Beware of the Hulk acai bowl because it’s actually green and blended with vegetables, so if you’re not too big on blended vegetables I wouldn’t recommend it. Pricing is what you’d expect at any other juice/​health bar.
Bonus: If you just want the food, you can go to Starbucks which is right next door.
P. S.: If you’re looking to spend some quality time here studying, there are tables and a couch but the wifi is dodgy.

Because my hobbies all have to to do with food I decided to Unilocal a healthy place for once and I am happy I found this place. I got the avocado banana smoothy (what was fire btw) and my boyfriend got the green juice I know it was like ‘heart’ something or other and he really liked it. I also got a salad and it was great for the price. I’m for sure coming back here again.

Got the BBQ chicken panini! It was freshly cooked and hand made. Delicious and healthy which is hard to find. The place is pretty cool, has couches and tables, plus outside seating (shared with Starbucks). The only thing is that it takes a little bit to make the food (is all freshly made so I would assume it takes time). Will definitely come again!

The workers were friendly! There was nothing wrong with this place at all. It was a bit warm in there which I think they should be blasting the AC. I liked my acai bowl except it was a bit watery. It was tasted honestly great overall. I think they should make the consistency more dense that way it doesn’t melt as fast.

Ever since I came to this place I feel in love with all their menu. It’s so convenient to me since I work down the street, My favorite is and always be is the avocado banana smoothie with vanilla protein, can’t get enough of it. You can’t never go wrong with this place. The best wraps and salads as well.

BBQ Chicken Wrap– The wrap was huge! Definitely got my money’s worth on that thing. The dressing flavor was really good and the crispy onions that are inside make a nice crunchy texture.
Very Berry Smoothie (yogurt, 4 types of berries) — flavor was good. It tasted like a fruity smoothie, but nothing special or anything. Still, I would get it again.
I also gotta bag of chips because it was a combo with the food and the drink, but I was too full before I even ate the chips.
The price is okay. It was $ 13.57 which in my opinion was okay for the amount of food I got and the good taste.

Nothing like a healthy little juice bar with food options when you spent your morning stuffing your face with chicken & waffles. The BBQ chicken panini was especially good, but the juice is where this place is at. Freshly made! Just be sure to add a healthy amount of ginger to whatever you get to set off some serious flavor.

Was in the mood for something HEALTHY and willing to travel the distance! LOL
Not that this is far from my work but I usually stick around to places just down the street.
Glad I made the drive though! I ordered the Caprese Panini (AMAZING!) and a GREEN juice (forgot the name) which was good but to me it had to much CELERY taste and I don’t like that taste at all. Either way it was a very satisfying lunch and will absolutely come back to try more items. I have my eye on the Acai bowls and salads!

We came here twice, and was disappointed both time. The 3 wraps (Mediterranean, turkey and avocado, BBQ chicken) we tried are all flavorless and very dry, like they forgot to add any sauce to it. The turkey and avocado wrap didn’t have any avocado in it? So they forgot the sauce and also the avocado? It was just a dry wrap with spinach and turkey, no seasoning, no sauce, nothing. Mediterranean wrap was full of spinach, a few olives, and a tiny amount of hummus. Again, dry and flavorless. BBQ chicken was probably the best one out of the three. Yet it just tastes ok. We also had the acai bowl, which was good but small portion for the price. I had a juice also. By the time I got the juice in my hand, it already separated into different layers and not mixed well.
The counter staff members are friendly, but seems like they have no clue what they are doing. The cashier girls kept on making mistakes, and repeating our order back wrong. She had to ask other people to come help her. A guy asked if we need a plastic bag, and just threw everything in there like tossing potatoes in there. Not laying the food boxes flat. Also just toss the acai bowl in there?!
We came here because of the high reviews on Unilocal.But we visited on a Saturday and a Sunday for lunch, and experience the same disappointment both days. What happened?

Wow! I came in here, because I wanted to have a «healthy» breakfast. I sure did! This place is clean, I love how the light hits inside here (Is that a weird thing to say? YES) and the employees are very nice. I will definitely be back, when I am in the area. I also ordered the turkey wrap, and it was so delicious! Yummy!!!

The Good:
Great selection of fresh food and drinks with a healthy outlook.
Customer service is great, if it’s your first time there it can be a bit overwhelming, but the staff is friendly and will most likely suggest something great.
The Bad:
The price, although everything is good, this is not a place I would go everyday for lunch. You’ll go broke.
The Protions, although everything I’ve enjoyed here is great, I constantly feel like I want more. (maybe it’s on purpose.)

I was disappointed with an order recently and called to let the owner of this establishment know. She expressed concern and was more than happy to comp me two items of my choice myself and a friend. (Mind you a came in solo)

Philips Ranch Health Bar came to the rescue when we were craving Acai bowls & there was no other place nearby that was open, except here!
they offer 2 types of acai bowls (one with a protein boost) BUT if you aren’t buying into the acai craze they’ve also got pitaya (dragonfruit) bowls
–Original Acai bowl: for $ 6.95 the price isn’t too bad compared to other places & they use fresh fruit & granola!
NOTE: they have stamp cards if you decide to become loyal

Make your own smoothie for about the same cost as Jamba Juice or Juice it up. I like that they opted for a more healthier take on a smoothie shop. Also, the shop connected right across is perfect for a last minute gift. They have special occasion cards as well as a ton of gift cards!
Note: They do not have milk. Only almond or soy.
