Brandon has been a life saver more then once. I have small childern at home and when my air conditioner unit went out in the hot summer he didn’t leave me hanging. He did have to come later in the day, but it was the same day. He work all night to get it fixed. I believe it was around midnight when he left. He is very kind, honest, and does a great job. If you want a person you can trust to get the job done and done right, you have to use B and D. Almost forgot he even called me during the next heat wave to make sure everything was working. Last night my furnace fan was buzzing. I left a message with Brandon and he returned my call first thing this morning. He came and diagnosed that my 10 year old fan motor was faulty. By 2pm my Carrier AC was back in action. We highly recommend this company. I hope the replacement motor and capacitor will last as long as the original did.

So my AC unit fan stop spinning. I called B and D and Brandon answered. I told him the symptoms, and he immediately told me it’s probably the capacitor. It needs to be replaced. I didn’t know anything about the capacitor or how to go about changing it.
Well, turns out that it was a relatively easy swap. Actually it was a VERY easy fix. Literally 2 screws and 3 wires and we’re back in business. The job took about 5 minutes to perform and he charged me $ 170. $ 170 to swap out a part that cost about $ 30 bucks (I Google’d it) and 5 minutes to swap out !!! Sure he got me up and running again, but c’mon. Charge people based on the difficulty of the job man !
Also turns out that I needed more freon for my unit. He didn’t carry my type of freon (R-​22). You’re an A/​C repairman and you don’t have R-​22 freon? What the heck dude?! He went on telling me that he could replace my freon with the more environmentally friendly type quoting me $ 400 for the total job, including the capacitor.
I asked him if he had the freon with him, he told me he would have to go back to his shop and get it. So you’re an A/​C repairman who carries no freon around doing service calls?
Sure he got my fan up and running again, but didn’t solve all my issues to get my A/​C running like it should. He’s a nice guy and did squeeze me in after-​hours, and for that I give him 3 stars.

Our AC broke at midnight and after a quick check on Unilocal I found B & D Air Conditioning. Brandon came over when we got home from work and fixed the problem within minutes. His service is simply the best.

I had an issue with my ac called Brandon up and had an appt the next day, Brandon came out and explained my problem, gave me some simple advice on how to prevent further issues, fixed my ac, and was very reasonable on his prices. I was attempting to install a new wifi smart thermostat, and found out quickly I bit off more than I could chew. Our house was built in 1980 so the wires are not set up as clearly as they probably should be. But, Brandon came over a few hours after I called and was able to make sense of the mess. Very knowledgeable. These are the guys you want to call. Thanks again Brandon!

My air was not working during a recent hot spell. The cool air was barely coming through the vents. I called an AC company and the they cleaned the coil and replaced the filter. It did not solved the problem and the air continued to barely
come out. I called Brandon at B&D and he came out and found out what the
problem was. The AC blower was only working at 75% efficiency and the main cause of the problem was resolved. Also, the freon filter was plugged and needed
replacement. The first technician should have been able to diagnose the problem.
Brandon was able to determine what was needed in a very short period of time.
He cleaned the blower, replaced the filter, and recharged the system.
I cannot express my appreciation enough for Brandon“s knowledge and skill.

Called at 6am to schedule a repair for my AC, I didn’t really expect anyone to answer since its so early, so I left a message. Called back at 9am and I still got the answering machine, and I left another message. No one called me back until after 3 in the afternoon, to tell me they were book solid. Why would you list hrs starting at 6am if your not even going to return call til 3pm? Good thing I called another repair company and they came out the same day.

I’m a landlord and the AC unit at my property stopped working. They took care of everything as far as setting up an appointment with my tenant. When they showed up they discovered the breaker had tripped they flipped it on. They tested the AC unit and it was fine. I was not charged for the visit. They were honest and very professional. Will definitely do business with them in the future.

Brandon is truly a honest person to deal with. He came out as promised and did an inspection on my AC. Was honest about pricing and explained what was going on. He took his time to trouble shoot the issue.

The weather has been crazy hot lately so it’s totally understandable how busy A/​C repair guys are. My a/​c had stopped working on Sunday and was only blowing warm air out. It felt hotter inside the house than out! I called a whole bunch of places (that I found from Unilocal) that had great reviews to see who could squeeze me in. He was in the area that day but I am guessing some of his repairs took longer than expected so he gave me a call later that day that he couldn’t squeeze me in but could go Tuesday morning. I was the second appointment on Tuesday, came promptly after alerting me that he was leaving the other job. Turns out the capacitor was out and he quickly fixed that. But upon after turning it back on, it also seemed that my fan motor was out so he had to get that part since he didn’t carry mine. My a/​c, is a bit older since the house was built in the late 70’s. He got the part later that day and got it installed!
Though his truck had broken down and didn’t have some of the tools/​machines that he normally does since he was driving a sedan, he headed to Home Depot to get the right parts without extra charge! Very nice and professional! So glad to be able to have a/​c up and running after 3 days of 93 degree temp inside of the house.
I would recommend him to anyone who needs their a/​c to be fixed!

My AC went out 2 days ago and i was working with my home warranty program (ORHP). They sent some idiot over to fix my unit but he complained it was too hot and couldnt do the job… did he expect me to wait till winter to fix my ac? what a joke.
i called Brandon at B&D and he came out the following day and fixed the problem. he also worked with my home warranty program so it was zero out of pocket for me.
He was on time, nice and very professional. Definatley knows what he was doing. i would recommend him and use him again if needed

First, understand it was 110 yesterday and currently 106. My AC went out last night and was blowing warm air. First thing this morning I called another AC repair service — they said they would call back in 20 minutes to schedule something. 3 hours later and no call back, I decided to call B & D. They took my information and within 10 minutes, Brandon called and scheduled something for today (the same day!) at 2pm.
At 2pm, Brandon called and said he was swamped and was running about an hour late. First, I completely appreciated the call and second, I totally understood since we are in this heat wave and it is a Saturday. He showed up 35 minutes later and had the problem assessed, fixed and my AC was pumping cool air in 25 minutes.
Brandon was extremely professional, friendly and took the time to show and explain to me what the problem was.
If I could give B & D 6 stars I would! No kidding, my interaction with them was the epitome of excellent customer service.

Ok so the day is 8-​9-​2012 and our a/​c has been not working for about 16 hours. 104 degrees outside and 95 in the house. Called B and D and received a call back from Brandon. Made a appointment for 7am on the 10^th since that was the first opening. Ended up calling him back in the afternoon to ask if there was anyway for him to help us out of the heat. Not only did he show up today but was able to fix the problem with such ease. I highly recommend this company to all my friends who need a/​c work from now on. Fast service with a smile and not trying to push other products on us. Thanks again Brandon you did a phenomenal job.

Called B&D to have my A/​C repaired. Brandon troubleshot the problem and found that the compressor capacitor had blown. He switched out the capacitor and made sure everything was working properly, including checking the temperature inside the house. He even cleaned out the inside of the condenser where rats had made a nest. Great service and will highly recommend B&D to anybody who needs AC service.

Just got a capacitor replaced the guy Brandon had it up in running in minutes no BS no inflated repairs just a friendly reminder that the fan may need replacing soon. Called and got an appointment same day on one of the hottest days of the year. HIGHLY recommend.

I really cannot say enough nice things about Brandon. I put a wine cellar in my house which requires refrigeration. The AC guy my contractor brought in had no idea how to set up the system so they brought Brandon in.
He set it up perfectly. Not only that. He explained things. He really took his time to make sure things were done properly.
Then, it died. Two days before my wine was suppose to be brought in and three days before my cellar party.
The owner of the refrigeration company came in the next day to swap out the unit. Brandon thought it would be best to join him. He spent the entire day at the house helping with the setup as well as keeping me in the loop. You can tell how much he cares and how much he wants happy customers. The owner of the refrigeration company was so impressed he asked for all of his contact information.
Weeks later, it died again. Brandon hustled over and could not make sense of why it was acting up. He suspected it was a mis match between the outside and inside units.
Sure enough, it was. He jotted down the model numbers and called the manufacturer who confirmed a mis match. Turns out they changed the specifications without telling the owner of the refrigeration company. The owner initially denied the situation but Brandon had the proof. In fact, the owner now feels Brandon saved him money and unhappy customers by spotting it.
Third time was a charm. The owner came back out and put in a 3^rd unit. It has since been running great for 8 months.
Brandon went out of his way over and over again. He is knowledgable, dedicated, informative, friendly and now the AC guy for my entire house. A lot of these issues happened during some pretty hot days which kept Brandon busy with other people but he kept checking in with me. Sometimes showing up at some wacky hours much to my happiness.
I feel very fortunate and lucky to have Brandon as my AC guy. We are now Facebook buddies and its great to see the kind guy I know is also a kick butt family man and husband. Just plain olé good people. Always great to have people like that in your life.
