Hi, my name is Nathan Vaughan. I have a small furniture business in Pollock Pines, CA. I build furniture from re-​claimed lumber, metal, and hard woods. I build a wide variety of furniture pieces including tables, armoires, dressers, and mirrors. Everything I make is unique and created from materials that I source locally in Northern California. I salvage lumber from barns, historic mills, antique fences, and anywhere else I can find the right quality material for my work. I forge my hinges and hardware from steel and I also incorporate copper and aluminum in some of my work. Please contact me with any questions or to discuss a custom project.

Nathan just made us a custom fitted coat rack and bench for our home. The process of working with Nathan was easy and he did an amazing job on creating the exact piece for us! I couldn’t be more pleased. I just gave Nathan the dimension and let his creativity and eye take it from their and I was confident that I would have a beautiful piece of furniture. Thank you Nathan. We purchased a steel wall mounted coat rack from Nathan at the San Ramon Art & Wind Festival yesterday and felt compelled to leave him a review for a few reasons. First, because the quality construction of this coat rack using repurposed materials is amazing! My brother-​in-​law is a finished carpenter with great attention to detail, so I know quality when I see it and Nathan definitely has an eye for detail and quality, which is so rare for someone as young as he is!
Also, his personality is equally amazing… he clearly has a humble approach to his work… or else he doesn’t realize what an artist and craftsman he really is!
We are doing a room addition to our home and remodeling our master bathroom and can’t wait to have Nathan build the new vanity that we have in mind for the project!

I purchased a custom-​made mirror from Nathan to go above my dresser, and I absolutely love it! He did everything I asked based on emails and inspiration photos that I sent him, and it turned out even more beautiful than I expected. We also got to see some other furniture pieces that he has created and are hoping to commission another piece in the future. This kind of talent in someone so youthful is hard to come by. Highly recommended!

Nathan made me a custom coffee table, and it looked great, but the best part is that it is really very sturdy construction. I was really impressed with how well built the table was, completely sturdy. All of his work is really unique and clean looking, it is definitely a great look so it is nice to know that it is well made.

We had an amazing experiencing purchasing a custom made table from reclaimed wood handcrafted by Nathan Vaughan. The table is beautiful. Nathan worked with me via texting and email to create the table and benches to my exact specifications for the space we put it in. The workmanship is primo! When we went to pick it up, we saw other pieces he is making on commission, large cabinets and breakfronts. He hand fashions hinges, latches, and knobs. He has beautiful mirrors in which he incorporates old pounded and shaped pieces of reclaimed metals. I never could have afforded this table had it been manufactured by a large company. We are already coming up with new things we want to request of him like a front door and more benches. Very Satisfied Indeed! Not to mention he is a professional caring young artisan.
