Established in 2008.

Originally started in Santa Monica and working primarily with residential clients,

Astrid Design Studio chose to move to Marin County. Since then, we have worked throughout the Bay Area in multifaceted commercial projects.

Business Owner

N. Astrid Lindo, principal of Astrid Design Studio, is an ecological interior designer. Formally trained as an interior designer at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, she also holds Certificates in Green Building and Permaculture. Astrid received her LEED accreditation in 2006.

Her constant thirst for knowledge in all cutting-​edge technologies and practices, enriches her as a designer, consultant and educator. These elements provide an understanding and application of the nuances that distinguish her in her trade.

Her distinctive competence and inspiration lies in her fluency in Spanish and her training in Spain, Italy, New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Miami.

Her broad education, experience, and travels have provided her with a profound understanding of culture and aesthetic, facilitating an innate capacity in design.
