Radisson Hotel Plymouth Harbor

Bed was nice. Atmosphere nice. Has a pool and a bar. Good good good. Could totally use a renovation though. No complaints overall. 10 stars for the water pressure on the shower haha.

I went for an event not long ago and was upset by an overt display of discrimination from the staff.
My friend dates a very pretty Brazilian girl, and she was cut off at the bar when the staff claimed that she was too intoxicated. This came as a shock, as she hadn’t had more than two drinks in a couple hours and was planning on driving home after the reception. My friend went to calmly complain on her behalf, and met some resistance. The front desk then called security despite any real signs of hostility from anyone.
I rarely look to pull the race card, but she was the lone minority at a event of white Irish and Italian family members, most of whom were drinking heavily without reproach. I was appalled to see her singled out, and was extremely disappointed with the staff.

However the room never had ac’s that worked and all the bills for the rooms… Same nights/​side by side/​same design … Have different bills? We asked for adjoining rooms … They said they had none… My room adjoined to an adjacent room… rather than the people I preferred next to me that I knew.
Asked for a fridge… Said they would bring it on the second night… It never came.
Again Heather was Amazing got us towels when requested and trash bags, located a few misplaces items, super nice and sweet … That’s pretty much it. Oh yea the location was nice! Very close to everything you would need.

Omg this hotel needs some serious upgrading. I don’t understand its 2015 why not get with the program. Especially when you are in a high tourist area. I came here for two nights and three days for a working conference. The HVAC in this entire hotel is off; it’s either too hot or freezing cold. The rooms have the loudest oldest ACs in the world and even when you put them low you will be shivering. The food served for the conference was pretty awful to in my opinion. It was very bland.
I didn’t hit the gym and pool but didn’t look too promising. The only positive about this place is you are in center of town and parking is included. The staff are pretty nice as well it’s just the hotel doesn’t have much to show for anything.

The location is great and the accommodations were decent. What really angered me was the fact that they overcharged my debit card. I got to the airport and realized that they charged me way more than the amount that they billed me for when I checked out, and I almost missed my flight because of it. I called to see if they could fix the error and they told me that nobody could help me until after the weekend.

This hotel needs some renovating, it’s very outdated, basic and plain. However, it’s clean which is the most important, and the beds are very comfortable. The location in Plymouth is great, the rooms were quiet.
My bigger complaints are the curtains do not block out the sun at all, and I was highly irritated when our hotel alarm went off at 6am after a late night at a wedding. Other than that it was a decent stay and I would stay here again. But please Radisson, this location could use some updating!

This hotel is a huge disappointment. One would expect a place on the strip to have all the bells and whistles. Firstly, the gym is tiny, lacks any sanitizer for the equipment and has only a few machines/​no weights or benches. Second, the sauna is broken and since there isn’t a hot tub, one would expect at least the sauna would be operational. Thirdly, the water in the shower was barely warm enough to bath in even after waiting an extra couple of hours. Lastly, the sleep number beds of which there were two, did not function at all.
On the plus side, guest services are prompt and friendly. Other than the staff, this hotel is in need of some serious revamping. I would never stay here if it were going to cost me anything.

The Radisson is on par with most of their other properties around Massachusetts. The facility focuses more on meeting and events space than the actual hotel itself.
We stayed for a few days to take my daughter swimming. The facility could use some updating. The HVAC systems are left overs from the original Sheraton facility built in the 1970’s and are noisy. Sorry for the people who complain they they do not have a digital wall control, if you cannot figure out how to push a button or turn a knob then you have an issue.
Most of the rugs, beds and furniture I would say have been updated within the past year or so. They are currently renovating more rooms this winter.
I do wish that Breakfast was included for the price but, the rooms are updated with modern furniture. Not all rooms have a mini-​fridge (though they will accommodate you if you ask). The staff was nice and helpful throughout our stay.
The pool area has had some updating though, not for the best. They removed the hot tub/​whirlpool but have not updated their website to state such. Poolside rooms (like ours was) can be a bit noisy right after dinner when kids are in the pool but, it was quiet after 8PM each night.
My best advice is to call directly for bookings. Most of the online prices are $ 20-​$ 50 more per night than if you call direct.

This was got to be one of the worst experiences I have every had. The rooms are not only dated but were in bad working order. Cleanliness lets see, where do I begin. Black mold, dents in the walls, clean coffee cups and glasses that were used from the previous patron. Wood molding unattached from the cabinetry and nails sticking lose. Outlets not working. Internet is non existent in my room. Smells bad. I could keep going.

Stayed here for a wedding that was near by. The rooms with windows are ok, my friends had rooms by the pool and they were nasty. Humid, smelly. They need a rehab. Downstairs is dated, so are the hallways. There was an odd stain on our room wall — someone pressed the iron against the wall to make an iron burn mark. Sleep number beds were ok. Staff was nice. Cute area around the hotel.

This hotel had a great location — sandwiched in between the water and main street — everything is walkable.
The rooms were large and clean, although a bit dated. Just a heads up — the 1^st floor is actually the basement. We were put there and were a bit disappointed.
Other than that, the pool was indoors and warm, there was a sign for a hot tub that seemed to no longer be there, and the towels in this area were extremely small. There was a lot of construction in this part of the hotel.
The ballrooms were booked everyday and the staff was helpful and pleasant.
Dated and a bit expensive but tis the season/​location.

Not wanting to take a chance on one if the many two star rated bed and breakfasts in Plymouth, we chose the Radisson thinking it was the safest bet. The front desk was very professional and the main floor was a little dated, but seems to fit the area’s casual, laid back vibe. Our room was lackluster and boring. They gave us two double beds instead of a king, or two queens as advertised. The toilet made a noise after flushing, but they sent maintenance immediately. They don’t offer free breakfast, and the $ 12.99 buffet at the restaurant was a rip off. Powdered eggs, gummy Danish, and not much selection. We should have ordered off the menu. Service was terribly slow, waitresses looked overwhelmed and complained about the floor manager, instead of taking our order promptly.

Decent hotel, but I wouldn’t have chosen it if the wedding rooms weren’t there. It was really outdated and pricey for what you get.

The hotel breakfast was terrible though. I had an omelette and it was SO greasy. I’ve never seen anything like this, I don’t even know how they got it so greasy. Needless to say I wasn’t feeling too great for the rest of my afternoon and did not eat there again.

Horrible horrible! I want to give it one star, but I thought of two bright-​sides of the Radisson: 1) I did not get bedbugs here, and 2) At least I wasn’t homeless for the night.
Seriously though, I was a couple steps away from the Radisson’s front door when I decided to stay overnight in Plymouth so it seemed like the obvious hotel choice at the time. But it was damp, musty, dingy and outdated to the point of feeling unclean. Where there should have been a mini-​fridge, there was just a hole where one had once been. The air-​conditioner barely worked — and (maybe I’m just nit-​picking now) they only had three pillows on each bed instead of four!
A very small consolation was the fact that we were able to walk across the street to dinner at the waterfront, and also that they had high quality travel-​size freebies in the bathroom. But for the appalling price of $ 300 per night (after-​tax) I feel super cheated.

Apart from cleaned sheets, cleaned towels and good air conditioner it was ok. Other than that, Radisson was a bad choice. As soon as we went in our room, the bathroom reeked like if there was a dirty soiled mop. As we walked down the hallway, the doors were either banged up or freaking dented– I don’t get it. The place looks horrible. The doors located in the back of the hotel are badly scratched and in need of either a good paint job or better yet NEW DOORS. The place doesn’t look hygienic at all.

This place is for spring-​break style college kids with no taste and a little too much extra money. Just think Jersey Shore… Puritan crap-​hole style.
I hated staying here. Everything was crappy… Except for the nice bed in the room. They charge $ 200 a night and up for a $ 90 a night (or lower) experience.
Dented, scratched, poorly repainted doors to rooms. Minibar mysteriously missing from their usual location in the av /​chest of drawers console. Crappy, run down carpet and decorations in the hallways. Old, rusty, half-​broken in-​room baseboard style heater/​cooler with just 3 mysterious soviet-​era buttons and a dial (no wall thermostat). Room service stops at 11pm. Construction on existing rooms without covering the windows or closing the doors… So the experience walking in to the hotel from the street is to see the ripped-​up rooms through their first-​floor windows or inside the hotel through their open doors.
The staff are barely holding it together.
I feel so, so ripped off. $ 450 for two nights here. A wedding I was visiting in nearby Kingston recommended the Plymouth Radisson as the best place to stay… But it was a huge let-​down. I just feel like I was scammed.
Never staying in a Radisson again.

I’m not a picky, picky princess (contrary to popular belief — I clean up after my horse after all). But I do expect what I pay for.
You might notice that this hotel has a low Unilocal rating. Indeed it does. Why would I stay there then, you might ask. Well, that is all that Plymouth has… minus a few B&Bs. B&Bs give me anxiety so I decided to chance it and stay at the one and only chain hotel.
Don’t make the same mistake!
Or at least take my advice. 1) Make sure your window and/​or patio does NOT look over the indoor pool. I have no idea who wants to go swimming when it is 30 degrees outside but there was screaming, jumping, splashing, and music from 8 in the morning until 10 at night. And my room reeked of chlorine. 2) Make sure you do not stay over Thanksgiving because if your room is not cleaned at 8 or 9 in the morning then you will simply not get your room cleaned that day. 3) Ask for a discount. We paid $ 260 for 2 nights here and that was a discounted price. I am already upset we paid that much because this place is a total dump. Our room was on the first floor (aka one floor down from the lobby aka the basement) and there were no windows and the carpet was wrinkled, which could cause you to trip if you’re not careful. It is also stained as are the walls and the whole place is just dated. The only reason I’m even giving this place 2 stars is due to their comfortable and seemingly clean bed. 4) Don’t ask the front desk for any help because they aren’t helpful. My mother asked the lady at check-​in if she knew of any restaurants that would be open on Thanksgiving. Her reply? A dismissive «I have no idea.» … That was it. Nothing else. Nada.

*Close to many area attractions
*Plenty of parking both in the front of and behind the hotel
*Clean and comfortable lobby
*Beds were Sleep Member (even though we did not specifically reserve it) — clutch!
*Coffee available in the lobby at 4:30am — I give it 5 stars just for that!!!

*Reservation mix up. I understand that things happen BUT when you arrive at 10pm after driving for 4 hours to be told that you either have to sleep on the floor someone else’s room or find another hotel… you might get a little perturbed! Thankfully our «situation» was remedied
*Décor of the hallways and lobby was a bit dated — did not match the interior of the rooms

This place was pretty sweet. I came in for a long weekend for a wedding. Went Friday night and stayed in a suite and then checked in for my own room Saturday — Monday.
The suite was large and the sofa had a pull-​out bed. Clutch.
The curtains overlooking the pool really let in the sunshine at 6am and for real, the black out curtains were nowhere to be found. Someone later told me they were there and it took a while to find them in my own room.
Checking in was a nightmare. They were short staffed that’s for sure when it came to the cleaning crew, so that wasn’t completely controllable, but everyone checking it was visibly frustrated.
The room was nice overall. Lots of space but I only was able to find one out let in the room and one of the plugs didn’t even work! I found this the case in a few rooms that only one of the plugs in the outlet actually worked. Kinda tacky and cheap for such an expensive hotel room.
The location is pretty prime though, with the tiny selection of shops out front and all the food places right in that area, it’s pretty.
I had left two items in my closet and I had to call 14 times to get those items found and returned to me. It was frustrating to call every hour basically and not even one of the calls did someone take my name and number, they would just tell me to call back. I left 7 – 8 voicemails with housekeeping as well, noting my name and number each time and no one called back. When I tell you how frustrating this was, persistence with them is key because they don’t care about you in reality so if you piss the shit out of someone, they’ll get a clue.
