They will assist you in the selection of the right piece of equipment and demonstrating how to operate the equipment safely, whether it is a lawnmower, chainsaw, tractor, or snowblower. We take pride in our award-​winning service department. Our four service technicians are factory-​trained and OPEI certified with over 80 years of combined experience. Additionally, we are an authorized service center for Ariens, Billy Goat, Briggs & Stratton, Echo, Exmark, Gravely, Honda, Husqvarna, Kawasaki, Kohler, Little Wonder, Scag, Subaru, and more. We service both home owner and commercial equipment such as string trimmers, generators, zero turn mowers, debris loaders, tillers, pumps and more. Our parts department carries over 10,000 different items representing more than 50 manufacturers; including Ariens, Echo, Exmark, Honda, Husqvarna and SCAG. Additional services include: pickup and delivery, flat tire repair and replacement, Arc/​MIG/​TIG welding, plasma cutting, Heli-​coil installation, small part bead blasting, trailer hitch instillation, trailer and vehicle wiring, metal fabrication and design, sharpening chainsaw chains lawnmower blades, cutting tools.

History

Established in 1972.

A family business started by brothers Scott and Walter Morrison III. in 1972. After seven years at their original location in Sandwich MA Scott started the power equipment sales and services division in 1979. In 1982 the brothers opened their current Plymouth MA store location. In 2006 Scott built his state of the art sales and service center next door to the home and garden center. This measuring 10,000 square feet housing a 3500sq foot showroom, 2800sq foot service center, and 2000sq foot warehouse making Morrison’s Power Equipment one of the largest on the south shore. Despite this size, Scott has never forgotten the kind of specialized customer service that has allowed his business to flourish for nearly 40 years.

I went to Morrisons Power Shop last weekend at the beginning of our first real storm for the winter. The reason why I was in there was because our just purchased snow blower (not purchased at Morrison’s) would not start. I first called in a panic to see if they could help. The gentleman who answered the phone walked me through a couple of steps for us to try to get it going. We tried those steps and they unfortunately didn’t work. I called back and spoke with another gentleman who said to bring it down and they will look at it for us. We rushed down as the snow was starting to really come down. The staff was absolutely WONDERFUL. I can’t thank them enough. I wish I took everyone’s name down. They all were extremely helpful, fixed the snow blower and got us back in action. I was so impressed and am forever thankful. Most times we spend our days complaining about service, but I really felt it was important to share my experience with Morrisons staff as it was TOP NOTCH~! Thank you sooo much, snow blower worked great and only 51 more days till Spring… Kudos to the staff!!!

Absolutely the most unprofessional operation I have encountered My neighbor and I went in on a compost spreader rental to top spread our large lawns. This is the only place around to rent one. My neighbor called 4 days ago to reserve it and we both had our compost delivered before so we would have it ready. He shows up to pick it up and «we sold it», what? «Sorry, someone should have called you». But they never did and now we have to spend a day spreading it by hand or hire someone to do it. Compost spreaders can’t be rented at other rental shops so we are strewed. I will never do business with them again and go out of my way to spread the word about this operation and their disregard for their customers.

I went into Morrison’s today to buy a generator for my business, to power a rollforming gutter machine. I’d purchased another brand of generator that didn’t work at all. Deciding that I needed to do it right and buy a Honda, I went to Morrison’s. I was apprehensive about purchasing the generator without knowing it would power my machine, as the other generator exceeded the specifications of the rollformer and did not work.
The man behind the counter took the Honda generator out to my trailer with me and we fired it up. The Honda performed like a champ and I bought it. The price was probably $ 100 higher than buying online, but now I have a place to get it serviced if I needed that, and you should always support your local businesses as long as they do a great job. The Morrison’s employee was very helpful and I’m glad I bought it there instead of some online store.

This is the year I committed to purchasing a snowblower and, since relocating to the south shore, received a couple recommendations to contact Morrison’s. So on New Year’s Eve I called and chatted with a gentleman by the name of Scott. From start to finish in dealing with Morrison’s, I experienced the utmost professionalism, product knowledge expertise, superior customer service, and the satisfaction of knowing I’ve found a local equipment store I can rely on for future purchases and advice.
My initial conversation with Scott was great. He answered all questions I had and made unbiased suggestions based on my individual needs. This conversation made me jump in the car to get down to meet with him. Scott was busy providing another fortunate customer with the undivided attention I experienced over the phone, so Jeff introduced himself to me and assisted with additional questions I had. Much like Scott, Jeff knew his stuff and also questioned my situation. He helped me make a final decision but did not steer me in any particular direction. He gave me all information I needed to make the decision.
Following purchase, the machine was scheduled for delivery and arrived on time. Bill showed up with a gassed, oiled, and primed snowblower. He took his time in teaching me overall operation and provided tips for efficiency. Like Scott and Jeff before him, Bill provided the superior customer service and focused on me and any questions I had.
I make a point to write honest reviews to help others in making decisions. I certainly hope that this review offers what you’re looking for.

I find the folks at Morrison’s to be pretty much always helpful & knowledgable. Their stock is good and prices reasonable. If they don’t know the answer to something, they find out, which is important to keep me as a customer. «I dunno.» then the blank stare is a pet peeve of mine. I’ll be a loyal customer as long as I live in this area, and they keep doing business as they’ve been.
