Boot Camp classes are total body workouts that include cardio drills, obstacle courses and strength training exercises that will optimize your calorie burn.

TRX Suspension Training is taught by TRX credentialed instructors and combine High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) to carve your core, lengthen and strengthen your muscles, and burn the fat!

Turbo Kick is a combination of intense kickboxing moves choreographed to high energy and motivating music. It’s the ultimate cardiovascular challenge with intense intervals of strength and endurance training.

Pi-​Yo is a fusion athletic workout which combines the mind/​body practices of both yoga and Pilates.

Kids Shape UP Too! teaches young athletes skills & drills to promote overall fitness and improve athletic conditioning. We emphasize Fitness for LIfe.

Meet the Business Owner

Chris M.

Business Owner

Chris is a Certified Personal Trainer by the National Academy of Sports Medicine and the American Council on Exercise. She holds both the TRX Suspension Training and the TRX Group Suspension Training credentials. She is also a Certified Youth Fitness Specialist by NASM and a Beachbody Coach.

Prior to becoming a fitness instructor, she was a Certified Public Accountant working with Fortune 500 Companies. Her passion for fitness was strong and she has now been a fitness instructor for almost 15 years. Chris has been running Shape UP Boot Camps for over 10 years. She is actively involved with many of the Pleasanton youth sports including Pleasanton Lacrosse Club and Foothill High School athletics. She has 3 sons who keep her moving all the time. In her «free» time, she is admittedly a gym rat and also enjoys just about any sport.
