Macy’s Great American Drive In

I think the way this was advertised made it sound like it was going to be awesome. Sadly, it didn’t live up to the hype. Even my seven year old niece took one look at the area and decided she wanted to home. The «carnival» consisted of one carousel and one throwing game. They didn’t even check our tickets for the free blanket which was limited to one per car and many of the cars were parking near the food and carnival area. I thought it was a bit dangerous, especially with children walking around in the same area.
My friends and I ended up trying the dessert truck and then going in the mall for dinner. We ended up shopping and skipping the movie entirely.
I’m glad it was free though, if I had to pay, I would’ve asked for a refund. Overhyped. Yawn.
