This review concerns online ordering. I ordered a pair of shoes on May 23, and after two phone calls to what I believe is a Manilla call center, they are still stuck in the store in Stockton. The Finish Line ships from stores so they rely on the store employees to ship the goods. They also make it difficult to cancel the order because they print the label immediately but never ship the goods. When pressed they blame UPS! It has been two weeks and I still don’t have a pair of shoes that is two hours away.

So in Fairfield finish line hasn’t let me down. I was done with my pedicure and decided i’d go work shoe shopping. Walked over to the map of the all the stores in the mall and found finish line. I walked down stairs and enter the store. HUGE selection. Nothing really was calling my name. I browse one side then the other then back to the other. Never did anyone ask«hi may I help you» or «do you need help finding something?» Anyways I figure on to the next.

One of the worst experience at this store I am not sure why owner or manager of this location does not do anything about his employees and fire all of them. No customer service what so ever… Will never go back.

I wish I was able to give negative stars because they don’t even deserve the 1 star. This store is run by little kids that have no idea what customer service is. I had to exchange some shoes and waited half an hour until the little girl behind the counter called her manager on the phone(yes I’m serious). Of course I was pissed– asked for the district managers name and phone number and wasn’t given anything. I called their corporate office to complain and all I got was an apology. My experience was unacceptable and by the looks of all the negative reviews they need to change their staff.

6 mths later… same result. If I could get Unilocal to update their rating system, so I can give NEGATIVESTARS… This time it was the Asst. Store Mgr that did not know what the hell was going on. Apparently the store culture embraced by ROSS(refer to previous review) is trickling down the ladder… I spent an hour in this store, and had to call Finishline’s customer service number 4 times to get my return done. The first time, she said I NEEDED to send it back to do the return b/c they were not allowed to take back this product at the store. 1−888−777−3949. Customer service said, «Negative. The return can be processed in store.» Then, she said she needed my email confirmation with the last four digits of my credit card. 1−888−777−3949. Customer service said, «Negative. As long as the customer has the register receipt, that’s all he needs.» Then, she said she couldn’t adjust the tax so I would be shorted $ 8. 1−888−777−3949. Customer service said, «Negative. You can adjust it,» and proceeded to call her District Mgr and ROSS. Now the return transaction is finally complete. So after this, I asked for my receipt pack. She refused. I asked for the packing slip. She refused. 1−888−777−3949. Customer service said, «Negative. She has no reason to keep you packing slip NOR your receipt.» FOURTIMES. I CALLEDCUSTOMERSERVICEFOURTIMESANDSPENTANHOURINTHISGOD-FORSAKENSTORE!!! Seriously fellow Unilocalers… don’t buy anything at this store! But if you do need to do a return, definitely do it here… and bring this number(1−800−777−3949) with you, as you will most likely need to call several times to get a simple return processed.

I too experienced poor customer service at this location. I wasn’t hassled about my return on a purchase that I’d made online, but the cashier barely acknowledged my existence and seemed irritated that I’d interrupted her lively conversation with the other 3 or 4 employees just sitting around. I didn’t even get a hello and she kept chatting throughout the whole transaction. I definitely wouldn’t count on any help in this store if you were looking to buy something!
