Bronson Motor Works

Bronson Motor Works has been taking care of four of our family’s cars for over a year now. I am a 20-​year Pleasanton resident who has tried several shops in town without satisfaction. When I take a car for repair I need the job done correctly the first time in a timely manner. This was not my experience at the other shops.
We have been very satisfied with the service at Bronson and the cost of repairs is reasonable. I highly recommend them as a trustworthy business.

Jake opened his repair facility after an 8-​year tenure as a Certified Master Tech with BMW of Concord. Jake was referred to me by his relative, who is a long-​time neighbor of mine.
I know my way around cars, but do little of my own work anymore. So, when I purchased a salvage 325iT, I needed someone with a trained eye, capable of giving it a thorough going-​over, and without «stealership» prices. Jake is resourceful, thinks outside the box when necessary, and is very customer oriented. I can be demanding, and Jake was a breeze to work with.
Needless to say, I got my car back in fine shape, and I’m confident that I’ve established a solid baseline with this vehicle, which I’m planning on driving for the next 10 years or so. I could not recommend Jake Bronson more highly.
Jake’s location is very BART/​bus convenient, so I was able to get back and forth from Walnut Creek conveniently with my bike using the 70x express bus
(or hop on the 10 to take you within a block of the shop, adjacent to downtown Pleasanton).

What can I say. Jake was the best! I own an Audi that overheated in front of his shop. After doing a quick diagnosis he realized that his expertise with BMWs was not going to provide me with the service I needed. Thus, he found me a great little shop in Pleasanton to diagnos my car, fix the rpoblem and get me on my way. It is rare that one finds a stand-​up guy like Jake. For all of you that own BMWs I would recommend him highly as an experienced mechanic, and moreso, an honest person. I can not recommend him more. Thanks Jake for doing me a good turn. Alan
