By the looks of these Unilocal they don’t even need mine. I bought a 2011 GMC pick up and Bobby helped me with getting the trans fluid changed. He let me know that I really did not need it changed, but if I really wanted it done he would do it. Not often at all that you get a honest mechanic. bobby was honest, fair and great customer service. A 5 star business in my book. If you are looking for a awesome and very knowledgeable mechanic look no further. Very true what everybody says about this place. This Place was recommended to me by several friends and I am glad they did!!!

What can I say that hasn’t been said? Bob is a 5-​STAR guy!!! He is honest and trustworthy. He fixes what needs fixing, charges a fair price, and never up-​sells! He was recommended to me by a co-​worker, and now we wouldn’t go anywhere else!!!

Honest and efficient! It’s not everyday I’m able to use these words to describe a mechanic. Our whole family has been sending our cars to Bob for the last 10 years. He has never steered us wrong and has saved us a lot of money. I never feel taken advantage of when I bring my cars in. Bob provides honest advice. He is very knowledgable and keeps us up to speed on any recalled parts. I have moved 30 mins away and still make arrangements to have him service my vehicles.

Ummm — we love Bob. I cannot say enough about how refreshing it is to find someone honest, reliable, fairly priced and fast in the car industry (an industry notoriously FILLED with crooks). My father has been a Service Writer for over 25 years and when I tell him what Bob recommends for my car, he always says «He’s absolutely right, your car does need that repair and he can do it cheaper than my shop.» My 12 year old Corolla is purring like a kitten and continues to run thanks to Bob’s efforts. I’ve referred him to my boyfriend who has an 18 year old Honda Accord and I’d refer him to anyone needing car repair.

5 star job done here once again! I drive an hour each way to go to Bob for my car needs! His honesty, quality, quick turn arounds and integrity are worth more than money can buy! He is price comparable and I would drive 3 hours each way, if need be, for his service! This shop is one in a million! I am grateful to have him as my mechanic! Took my car in, he didn’t miss a beat! 24 hours later, i drive off feeling as if I had a new car! BOB and Auto Tech is one company I will never steer away from. I was referred to Auto Tech by my boyfriend; his entire family uses him (15+ people). As a woman it is hard to find a mechanic that will not attempt to pull the wool over your eyes. Bob has saved me thousands of dollars. When other mechanics told me there were issues I came to him for a secondary opinion. I initially rotated mechanics based on proximity as I lived 35 minutes away and now, after 3 cars and 5 years I trust no one else but Bob.

Bob and the rest of his employees at Auto Tech are very professional, courteous, and honest. When my truck didn’t pass smog, they took care of the problem quickly. Bob explained to me what was wrong and was patient in explaining what he would do to ensure my truck was taken care of. He listened to me and was able to help work around my schedule and I am very satisfied with the work done on my truck to pass smog! I have had no problems with my truck & I definitely recommend Auto Tech for your vehicle needs.

I have a 2005 Chevy Avalanche that stopped runnning one day. I had it towed to a auto shop in downtown Danville. After replacing the fuel pump for $ 800 they told me that my engine was blown had to be replaced and gave me an estimate of $ 7,800.
After paying them $ 800 I towed the truck back home and debated to see if it was worth buying a new engine or just donating it to a local charity. My neighbor told me about Auto Tech and told me to go talk to Bob. I went to see Bob and he said it sounded like ti could be fixed. I towed it again, but this time to Auto Tech. Bob figured out that it was a broken vavle spring. $ 400 and two days later I had my truck back running perfectly. I can;t thank him enough for fixing my truck. I will aways take all my vehicles there from now on. He is just an honest and knowledgable mechanic.

I was recommended Auto Tech by a neighbor.
They do regular maintenance on vehicles not just engine rebuilding. Everything except tires.
As a female who has been to many mechanics, I highly recommend Bob to anyone (male or female) who actually wants an honest opinion.

I heard about Auto Tech and the owner Bob from 3 different people that recommended him and his service a few years back. So the next time I needed some work done on my car, I figured I would give him a try. Since then, I have never taken my car anywhere else. This try for several reasons.
Honest — First and foremost, he is very honest– an honest car repair place– I know, an oxymoron in this business– but it is true here with Bob. There have been so many times where Bob could have performed additional work on my car and I wouldn’t have Known any different. This has happened to me in the past elsewhere, So I recognize honesty here with Bob, as he has had my car at least 10 times for service and repair.
Reasonable prices– again, I have never felt ripped off here, I always feel like I got very good value, and a few times the work came back at less than the estimate. You might find a cheaper oil and lube elsewhere, though not by much, but overall I just think his prices are fair, on the lower end, and you are never going to pay for service that isn’t needed.
Quality– Great service here. I have had my car essentially held hostage at other service places for days and days in the past while they incompetently try to figure out what is wrong. I have never had that happen here. You get your car back quickly, usually same day. And I have never had a repair that is done here resurface at a later time. When it is fixed here, it is fixed.
Customer service– Bob is a real low key, sort of soft spoken, very nice guy. He listens really well, takes his time with you, your car and what is wrong or needed– he makes you feel like you are special, an important customer– which I am sure all his customers are to him. Great guy!
