Rogier has been a life saver for me in servicing my Mac Book Pro 2010. It was going slower and slower and I was thinking of getting a new computer. But he came to my rescue! By logging into my computer, he cleaned, adjusted and programmed what was needed and now my mac is running fast and as good as new.
He taught me some important points in keeping my mac running well. It’s saved me from needing to buy a new computer.
He is always helpful with a great positive attitude which I appreciate. So I without reservation can recommend Rogier for your mac needs!!!

When I just paid Rogier for his work, I said to him «It’s 8:08pm…we didn’t even call you two hours ago!» Yep, I called him at 6:23 to see when he could come solve a week-​long connectivity issue (router and extender stuff). He said he’d finish his dinner and would be over by 7. Wow!
Now he may not always be able to pull off that kind of magic, but it gives you a sense for his ethic! Most importantly, my wife can begin working from home again tomorrow and soon we’ll have him back to solve the eight device and three iTunes conundrum.
And, he’s funny too! A much better review to write than last night’s dinner in San Mateo!

Rogier did a great job on replacing my crashed iMac hard drive. From my first call for help, to diagnosis to a new installed hard drive was all done in 24hrs (even on the weekend). Responsive, fair price, open, honest communication, and very knowledgeable. Thank you Rogier.

Scooter is the best of the best! Deep expertise, fast response, and terrific interaction style. He is a careful listener and really takes the time to explain the issues at whatever depth of detail the customer wishes.
Also, Scooter IT’s pricing is very reasonable, particularly as the work is done so efficiently. I’ve had problems that tied up an IT consultant for the better part of a day fixed by Scooter in less than an hour. In over two decades of working with IT professionals I have met no one better than Scooter.

Found Rogier and Scooter-​IT via Unilocal and I am very glad that I did. Was looking to upgrade my MacBook Pro with an SSD. Rogier was extremely helpful with advice and guidance on which model to purchase. When it came time for the install, he was very flexible with scheduling and went out of his way to accommodate me. If you have any Mac or iOS tech needs, Rogier is definitely the person to call.

Pretty much, across the board, this man messed up everything he said he did to my systems. Every time I use one of my computers now, I end up sobbing because of the wasted time and money. He is arrogant and incompetent. You won’t realize his incompetence until after he is gone and unfortunately. DON’T USE HIM!!!

I needed to replace my iMac’s internal drive in a hurry. I found Scooter-​IT via a Unilocal search and decided to give it a try. I called them around 5 PM, they accepted the job and I had my computer back before 10 PM the same day. Thank you for your excellent service!

Rogier as noted is truly amazing! Very knowledgeable, speedy, responsive & a nice guy with a sense of humor. He made an in person visit to help fix our time capsule system (it wasn’t backing up properly) along with speed up our internet connection & fine tune settings on our 3 mac computers.
He also made great techy suggestions like purchasing 1password software!

Need any sort of help with your Mac computer, your iPad, iPhone or wifi? This is the place! Rogier was at the Burlingame Apple store’s Genius Bar for 4 years and knows everything there is to know about Apple. After having horrible wifi service in two home locations, I finally decided to give up on getting resolution from ATT and Comcast. Called Scooter-​IT and he had our 3 iPhones, 3 iPads, and 3 computers, all up and running with sensational coverage and bars, all in less than half an hour. He’s a wealth of knowledge and is coming back to fine tune our sluggish (and older) desktop computer, so it will be a lean, mean fighting machine. He even gave superb phone advice on getting our wifi printer going.
His prices are very reasonable. This is the last place you will ever have to go.

I was without my iMac for months. I kept schlepping it to the Apple store where I was told there was nothing wrong with my hard drive (grrr, there was, and I just wanted it fixed) and they added updates and did little checky things that helped my computer limp along for a few more days. I think the store uses the «Genius» term in an overly generous way sometimes…
Since I don’t speak computer very well, I wasn’t sure what to do. I could sort of get by in the meantime on my ipad and a borrowed laptop. I asked a neighbor, a very young man, a former Apple engineer, now retired what to do and it all sounded so complicated. Finally another friend suggested I look for an outside Mac fixer.
DUH! Unilocal.Why didn’t I think of that earlier? I found Scooter IT with all of the glowing reviews and called right away. Bless him, Rogier works so hard, he picked up my iMac around 5:30 pm and brought it back to me the next day along with my old hard drive and my back up drive, better than new and for a fair and reasonable rate.
I could write so much more about how he checked in with me and helped me buy the best and install more male sheeps, i mean rams in my iMac (now it’s really fast, but not furry) and how he only wants to use the highest quality parts. He’s also ethical, because he suggested I take my borrowed laptop to the Apple store to buy a new battery. He even showed me how to access it. This sort of thing makes me really loyal.
Yay! I feel so grateful and lucky to have found Scooter IT.

Rogier is a true gem when it comes to the land of Apple. He quickly added a new hard drive to my MacBook Pro and was later able to diagnose issues I was having with iPhoto by logging in remotely. He is extremely patient for those of us on an as need to know basis with our computers :). I also like that he is seems cost conscious not wanting to have you end up with a big bill. I love his newsletters which are full of great tidbits of information.
Would definitely use him again for any Mac issues. I highly recommend him to others.

I found Rogier on Unilocal and I would like to echo all the positive feedback. Rogier was great to work with! I bought a new and larger SSD for my wife’s black Macbook and wanted someone to install it and transfer the data over a weekend when it wasn’t being used at work. On top of the requested swap Rogier upgraded the OS from Leopard to Lion, optimized the system at no extra charge and turned it around the same day. It’s really zippy now. The upgrade added years to an old Mac. Given the increased prices of the new Macbook Pros and decreased prices of SSD’s I would highly recommend this hardware upgrade and getting a professional like Rogier to do it.

Rogier was great. Fixed our wireless network quickly and at a great price. A nice guy who we will definitely use again for our home computer needs.

Really? Open Mon to Sun till 10 PM??? Don’t want to miss an out of town weekend seminar but need to upgrade a 20″ iMac with more memory and bigger hard drive. I gave Rogier a call on Thursday night at 7:00 pm. Drop off the Macs at 8:00 pm and my Macs are ready Sunday night to pickup. I did not miss anything, the good seminar as well as a single file inside the Mac. What a great service I can rely on!

Rogier did a great and super fast job on my daughter’s MAC book computer. I’m definately going to him for all my MAC needs.

As my iBook began to slow down, it became obvious that it was time for a new laptop. Being a greenie, I like to squeeze every bit of juice out of my electronica before I throw it into the recycling bin. I was hoping to locate a Mac IT expert who did onsite work and wa la: found Rogier of Scooter IT on the web and instantly recognized him as a former genius at the Burlingame Ave Apple store. (And the only genius who wouldn’t let me leave until he fixed my mac !)
He was able to extend my mac’s life for at least another year (or two?) by upgrading the whole shbang! And all for less than the cost of a 49 sq mi handbag!
I recommend Rogier to all of my clients; he’s especially good at working with low tech folks like me :) You won’t be disappointed.

Rogier is truly a «genius» when it comes to anything Apple, and thankfully he has a very kind, human heart that explains everything in a non-​condescending way ;-)
He has taught me so much about practical Apple knowledge that I would have never gotten even from one-​to-​one training. He’s amazing at helping you recover data and how to make your ipad/​ipod/​iphone work seamlessly and productively with your mac. Love Rogier!
