Our personal approach to your mental and physical well-​being has gained us a reputation as the most knowledgeable, but also accessible, massage therapy clinic in the area. If you are unable to visit our clinic then a mobile therapist can massage you from the comfort of your own home. We understand that if you have never had a massage therapist work on you then you may not know which therapy is best for your particular need. We offer free consultations where we sit down with you, go over what your expectations, and requirements are; then tailor a therapy session to your exact specifications.

History

Established in 2012.

Although our state certified therapists have been providing quality massages in the San Francisco East Bay for 5+ years, R & R Therapeutic Massage was formally established in November 2012. Here at R & R we strive to bring the best of massage therapy to you either in an office setting or the comfort of your own home. WE BELIEVE that massage should be accessible to everyone. Because massage has become such integral part of our lives for health and wellness; we would like to share this lifestyle with you. Our goal is try and heal the world with one massage at a time.

«I’m fixing the world one massage at a time,» said Rebekah, CMT and owner of R & R. «If everyone got even one massage a month, then I truly think that there would be no more anger in the world.»

She worked as a teacher for almost 7 years in Concord until 2007 when her program faced dramatic cuts. During the last 2 years as a teacher, Rebekah enrolled in a massage therapy program to help supplement her income. She went full time into a massage therapy career in 2007 after her last students graduated. «I was still educating people, just in a different way,» says Rebekah. «People tend to think of massage therapy as a high end luxury, but it truly is needed to feel healthy.»

In 2007, she began working as a certified massage therapist in Walnut Creek. In 2009, she was appointed Lead Therapist in charge of hiring/​training therapists. In 2011 she was awarded Regional Therapist of the Year. By 2012 she realized that if she was to advance her career, she needed to create her own company.
