Do Business with someone who has a reputation for quality and actually works on the laptops as we do. We also have an extremely high feedback on Ebay at 99.9%.

We do not use a hair dryer or heat gun, and or an oven, or inferior repair processes as you may have seen on You Tube or other free video website and or what you have read about on the web. These mostly are do-​it-​yourself applications insist you can do.

We can remove or add any chip found on the motherboard with the proper equipment. We can remove memory slots, USB ports, Ethernet ports, audio jacks, any and all components attached via solder to the Motherboard or logic board.

We repair all BGA, SMD chips, for all BGA chips we re-​ball them and reapply them to the board.

Formerly located in Sunnyvale, CA, we have expanded to a new location just miles away in Milpitas — right in the heart of Silicon Valley, the tech center of the universe! I have been working on computers for well over 25 years. Good soldering techniques are very much a must, people always try to take short cuts, but in the end what kind of product do you want to provide to your customer. Hopefully on the best! Working on laptops specifically has given me a whole new perspective in this industry on repairs. I have trained and certifications available for companies who want to learn to repair to the component level, do fault finding as well as BGA work consisting of profiling, re-​balling, re-​flowing and removal, and repair of traces.

This isn’t actually a review of the store. I believe this place isn’t in business any longer. Their website does not work and a call to their phone is gets the classic «disconnected or no longer in service» message.
This is simply posted as a public service. If you’re the owner and you do still exist, then I’ll be happy to pull the review down.

Fujitsu laptop screen went black. Found Bay Computer Solutions on E Bay. Called and they told me they can repair ANY laptop there is. I sent it in with the $ 125.00 to diagnose it. Video card they said. Okay fix it. Then they said… they put new one in… screen no good. What choice did I have. Okay…$ 365.00 later I got laptop back. 90 day FREE warranty on everything they do or so they said. 4 months later… a month after warranty over… laptop did same thing again. Now I know it wasnt screen at all… but just the video card. I had screen tested… was okay. They charged me for new screen to run up $$ on me. They said send it back to us. I sent in EXACT same box that they shipped back to me. This time didnt show up for 14 days! UPS lost it. Tracked it and it got delivered but… Bay Computer accepted the CRUSHED box… and then had the cahonies to ask me why would I send them a laptop in a crushed box! Do they think I am that STUPID to send a laptop in a crushed box. They know they liable for accepting it! That was beginning of August. It is now October and they have done everything they can to avoid me. Still dont have computer back and they refuse to reply to my e-​mails. If you call their message system is always full can never get anyone live.
Last e-​mail from them was two weeks ago… still working on your computer (three months now) and it will cost you $ 185.00 for a 90 day warranty! I thought warranty was part of the repair? Nope… so…if I want my computer back… ever…they are going to screw me again for another $ 185.00. Their customer service STINKS. Their responses to customers STINKS. Their prices STINK. Their repairs I could have done locally for half the headache. STINKS. Dont ever try to get someone live on phone there… you never will! Ive given up on ever seeing my computer or what is left of it. DONT EVER use Bay Computer!

I had a terrible experience with them. They claimed they had the part to repair my laptop. Forward two weeks later, I call to see why it was taking so long, and they tell me that they need to order the part in order repair it. At this point I was puzzled why they did not just call me and explain their situation. So I decide I do not trust them and ask for my laptop back. When picking up my laptop the tech tells me the part is in stock and that he can repair it. Against my better judgment I leave my laptop for repair. Fast forward a week later I call to check on my laptop. The receptionist informs me it next in line. I ask for a estimated time frame and she basically yells at me, telling me it’s my fault for not communicating with them and if I do not want to wait then I should pick it up. I was shock at her customer service skills and told her that I will wait.
Fast forward 2 weeks later, I accually go in person to check on my laptop and to my surprise their office is in the process of being moving out. I ask if my laptop is ready and they tell me it’s in the back and next in line. I ask if they are moving and where, both the tech and receptionist tell me they are moving to concord tonight. I tell them I just want my laptop and they then tell me it’s in concord. At this point I ask for the time frame and the receptionist snaps at me again and says «tuff shit» that I have to except the wait and that this conversation needs to end so they can continue moving. The tech apologizes for the receptionist attitude and assures me that he will call me as soon as he knows what going on with my laptop. In the end they could not fix it, they tell me that the whole motherboard needs to be replaced and quote me a ridicules price for me to declined their quote and keep my deposit.
TLTR
Horrible communication skills
They up sell their service.

Wow, these guys rocked! Showed up today with a laptop with a tiny broken switch on the motherboard. They took a look at it, found a spare switch (on another dead motherboard) and by the time I though they were going to tell me how long it was going to take, the switch had already been replaced. The whole thing took the best part of 5 minutes. Very cool people, will do business again with them!

I had a Dell XPS 1330 that I originally paid $ 1300 bucks for (I know. never again!)…anyway…it had the famous nVidia GPU problem. I sent it to Dell under warranty, and their repair worked for 4 days. Then or course it was OUT of warranty and they want $ 400 to reinstate it. Jeez.
I found these guys. I first made sure what the fix was going to be (reball the GUP chip with good lead solder) and if it would last.
Bottom line. they fixed my computer and it works great. Its been two months now going strong. I think these guys know what they are doing and for the issue I had I highly recommend them. Turn around time, price, and communication were top notch.
That was my experience.

Extremely dishonest, patronizing, and deceitful operation. Their evil twin, owned by the same company, is Paramount Computers in Concord. Here’s my story.
I took in my 5-​month old Macbook unibody because liquid had spilled on the logic board. Upon initial phone conversations, this cocky jerk named Don totally patronized me on the phone. Having seen their 100% rating on ebay, I decided to go ahead anyway. When i arrive, he takes my computer and struggles to remove the back cover and drops a few screws on the floor and almost loses them. Professional? Nope!
I leave the laptop with him for 1.5 weeks and then I am told the logic board is not reparable. Before I had given them my laptop, I took close photos of every internal component, including the serial number on the logic board. These s@#t heads, replaced it with another, very badly damaged logic board with no serial number. I had to report them to the Better Business Bureau. The owner of the company never contacted me. My guess is that my logic board was sold on the market to someone for $ 600+. BBB has been fairly useless. My $ 1000 laptop is now worth $ 400.
I hope this post will keep as much business away as possible from these swindlers, and I hope the owners and managers one day find themselves homeless in the streets of Downtown San Jose. Party on Silicon Valley! Greed and dishonesty will be your undoing.

I went to get my laptop fixed. I saw their ad’s in Ebay and thought I’d give them a try. They were friendly, but when it came to the price, it nearly knocked me off my feet. They quoted me about $ 150 to fix some usb ports. When I decided not to get it fixed, I tried to stop by to pick it up. The guy working on my laptop left for the day (at 1pm on a wednesday) and I couldn’t pick up till the following week. When I went to pick it up, it still wasn’t put back together and I had to wait another 10 minutes. I almost left the parking lot and noticed that it wouldn’t start. I stopped back in to show them. Luckily it was a small config change (no charge). The new problem is, now my usb ports have no power (they had power before but didn’t recognize). When I asked them what the issue was, they didn’t say and kept asking if I wanted to pay to fix the issue. They might be good for power supply issues. I probably wouldn’t go there if you have a hardware configuration problems.

I found this place by Unilocal and was very happy with the service and the price. I would highly recommend these guys.
My laptop AC on HP dv6000t stopped working. It was due to using the cheap Chinese made A/​C adapters I bought on eBay (only buy OEM adapters from now). These guys fixed this issue and also fixed my keyboard which had a few bad keys.
I also gave my Dell Inspirion 5150 to Laptop Rescuer Co. 2 years earlier but the work they did was low quality as the same problem cropped up again. It was also expensive at Laptop Rescuer Co.
I am very happy with the service I received from Bay Computer Solutions. Thanks to Matt for good service.

This is a great place for computer repair. My laptop wasn’t able to get power from the AC Adapter. I called many repair shops. Most of them never returned my call. The ones that did charged for diagnosis, and would take my laptop for 3 – 7 days.
Bay Computer Solutions returned my call within minutes, and said they could fix it same day (DC input jack replacement). Same day service is hard to find. I went to their shop (it’s a little hard to find). They took my laptop for repair. Within 1 hour, they phoned to say the problem wasn’t the DC jack, but my power supply. And, guess what… NO CHARGE!!!
In this day and age, it’s so nice to find a shop like this that is reputable, reasonable, and totally awesome! I highly recommend this place.
