A great experience with completely professional environment. My tax pro Arianna was perfectly professional and answered all my questions with great care. I could not ask for a better experience especially while doing taxes. I would recommend Arianna and her team to anyone.

Arianna Alston was totally professional during our tax meeting today. She was accurate, and efficient, and helped us get the best deal. She was even apologetic when we ended up owing taxes this year.

OMG I don’t know where to start, this office is so friendly and super professional. People at this location are pretty much up beat, the Supervisor knows her law and ethics about Taxes. I would highly recommend people to get serviced here. You can’t go wrong, these people would get you the maximum refund. Plus I didn’t have to wait, I got serviced real quick. A+++

The person who wrote, «can we start with getting the hour of my life back», deserves a medal for lasting that long. My tax appointment only lasted 5 minutes. My wife actually wanted to leave after the first 20 seconds of waiting in the «waiting room.» When the person came to get us from the waiting room, she had a hard time communicating my name to the receptionist. My name is one of the most common names in the English language. We followed her back and was expecting to meet the «tax specialist.» Once we realized that the person who got us WAS the tax specialist, the bad vibe that we had got worse. We sat for a second in awkward silence like she had no idea why we had come in. She looked at one of our forms like she had never seen it before in her life and made some comment like, «we can figure it out.» At one point I wanted to ask, «have you ever done somebody’s taxes before?» In all fairness, she may have been great at doing taxes. It certainly wasn’t worth the risk to us to find out. When you get that «uh oh» feeling, you need to listen to it.

The «tax specialist» I met with supposedly had 15 years of experience. There is no way that could be possible. She couldn’t answer ANY of my tax questions. She couldn’t even tell me how much the session would cost. I asked 4 different times, and still no straightforward answer. Other questions she couldn’t answer: is it better for my spouse and me to file jointly or separately? How do I indicate that my retirement account went from one brokerage firm to another?
These seem like basic questions for a tax professional who supposedly has 15 years of service under their belt. You are MUCH better off using TurboTax, or some similar program.
Also, I was robo-​dialed by HR Block the next day. The recording asked me why I hadn’t showed up to my tax prep session.
I have no confidence in this tax firm.

Dennis and his associates are wonderful. I filed my taxes online but ran into some issues with the IRS and some new credits and tax laws. They sent me some forms to fill out which were very confusing. I took them in to H & R Block on Manchester (between Subway and Yum Yums) in Playa del Rey and the tax experts there pretty much dropped everything they were doing and helped me immediately. I basically handed them all my paperwork and they downloaded the forms and faxed them for me.
Go in and see them if you are having issues or if you are confused about anything to do with your taxes. Such a wonderful group of people; it just makes your day that much better.
