History

Established in 2012.

I have had a love for animals since I was a kid. I can’t recall a time that I didn’t have a pet. I chose to begin this company because I couldn’t imagine waking up another day and not fulfilling my dream to work with animals. My husband, kids and I all love to travel and soon found out the value of having our pets cared for in the comfort of our home. We view our pets like members of the family and couldn’t bare to put them in kennels in a strange place with the stresses of other animals barking and carrying on. I created this company with the idea that there were other families just like mine in need of a caring sitter for their pets while they are away.

Karie S.

Business Owner

Karie is married with three boys, 2 dogs, 1 cat and 1 Mali Uromastyx lizard.

One of the dogs, Sophie, is a 6 year old rottweiler and is a registered therapy dog. The other family dog, Mikki, is 2 ½ years old, who I currently foster for MO German Shepherd Rescue group and will be going through adoption process to keep her once she has recovered from a procedure as we have decided there was no better home for her than ours. Our cat, now 6 years old, was one of 4 kittens born to a stray cat in our neighborhood. We found all the others a home and decided to keep the calico cat and named her Sassy. Finally, we have Joe who is our docile desert lizard, which we have now had for 5 years. I’m a huge advocate for rescuing pets through shelters and rescue groups and volunteer my time walking dogs for MOGS that are in boarding due to a lack of foster families.
